My experience with Advantage Toyota's Service Department in Valley Stream, NY, was nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, I took my 2021 Toyota Sienna for the two free Toyota Care Oil changes at 10k and 20k miles. However, after these complimentary services expired, I decided to handle the oil changes myself in my driveway.When I went to do the next oil change at 30k miles, I was appalled to find that the oil filter and oil drain plug were egregiously overtightened. This level of incompetence is unprecedented and is something I have never experienced, even at quick lube places. For a Toyota dealership, one would expect a basic oil change to be executed with precision, including torquing the oil filter to spec. Clearly, if they can't handle such a simple task, they shouldn't be trusted with more advanced work.Furthermore, during my 20k mile service visit, I explicitly informed them that my inverter coolant was low and requested it to be topped off as per standard procedure. Despite my clear instructions, they negligently failed to do so. This level of carelessness is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the competence of the service department.In light of these disastrous experiences, I have lost all trust in Advantage Toyota's Service Department. I've since acquired a 2023 Toyota Corolla and have no intention of entrusting it to Advantage Toyota for the free included Toyota Care services.

Bought my car from here 7 years ago, I do like the place but their prices are really high these days, the building is always cold even in the dead of winter. But staff is always professional and I always get a better understanding of how my car is functioning.

Celine is the best. I live in Brooklyn and pass a different Toyota service just to go there. Customer service is great. Took my highlander there yesterday for the 5k was in and out and she was very nice.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT if you own a Toyota vehicle and thinking about having it serviced at Advantage Toyota of Valley Stream you might want to think twice. This place is far from the worst dealership from Service Advisors to Service Management. Honestly take your vehicle to a Mom and Pop shop if you want quality work done to your vehicle because you definitely won t find it here at this Toyota dealership. I had to visit this place multiple times for a water leak on my 2019 Toyota Sienna, my sunroof and headliner needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, this was the biggest mistake I made by bringing my vehicle to this place to get the job done by their so called Toyota Certified Technicians. I spent approximately $11,000 in repairs at this location for this water leak issue. My vehicle was in mint condition when I brought it to them. I received it back with a lot of scratches on the interior panels, as well as grease on my new headliner, also my vehicle was left dirty. Another thing was I had to keep calling my Service Advisor Travis Cobbs for updates he was never consistent. I had to go see for myself unexpectedly at times and ask my service advisor Travis Cobbs that I want to see the work that was being done to my vehicle. I was shocked to see how they had all my interior panels carelessly removed from the vehicle and thrown in a box that resulted in scratches on the panels. I took multiple pictures to keep for my proof and mentioned it to my service advisor that if they re going to replace it. Service advisor was told from his manager Xavier Ascencio that if I want the panels fix it would be an additional charge for someone to come and repair the scratches instead of replacing it with a new one. I had to discuss this issue with the service manager Xavier Ascencio who is the person in charge of all work being done to your vehicle in Service department and grants approval for anything that you might have concerns about. This manager showed me how professional he was when I approached him politely and said I can t talk to you right now . He had the nerve to mention that every week there s something new about my vehicle that I ve been complaining to my Service advisor about when my vehicle was still at their facility being serviced for a month 1/2. Never again will I bring my business at this premises again. Toyota owner of Advantage when you read this I think your Service Manager Xavier Ascencio needs some retraining to do. God bless!

The servicing was good, however I did interior and exterior detailing paid $168, told me to drop off the car at 8am and will receive the car back at 4pm, called me and told me they can t do it till next day, they called me at 11am next day told me car is ready, I go and see car wasn t clean, told them and they told someone to clean and wasn t cleaning properly, did a horrible job, wish I had gone to regular car wash place they would done 20 times better job and would of cast half the price avoid doing cleaning service at this place, feel like I got robbed..

Be prepared to wait 2 1/2 hours for a oil change. I made an appointment for 7:40am and ended up leaving at 10:00am. Place is nice. Customer service was alright. If you have patience to wait for a 21/2hrs oil change, this is your place. Appointments don t mean ****!!!!!

Brought a Corolla cross this week, and the sale representative Tanver bhai was super nice and helpful. Made my first car experience easy for me. Please do consult with him if you re buying a car. His super friendly and will listen to you. Such a good person!

I guess this dishonesty is expected from Car Dealerships. I went in to buy my lease & the number were very good. So I did it. Two days later TFS sends me an email informing me of my new monthly responsibility. There was a $130 difference than what was discussed at the Dealership, when I signed.I go to check the paperwork & I had signed a paper saying that Toyota does not honor verbal agreements . You can rest assured that no matter when you bring you vehicle in you have a minimum of a 2-3 hour wait without an appointment and about 1.5 hours even WITH an appointment.Brought a vehicle in (no check engine light) for a NYS inspection at 7AM on the dot being 3rd in line. Ended up finally getting the car back around 9:30AM. Service advisors are "busy" and so are we as customers but the wait for the inspection machine was LOONG considering my vehicle was 3rd in line on top of no communication that the vehicle was done when I was attempting to just pull the vehicle away entirely. Took about 40-50 minutes alone for ME to make contact with THEM while still in the dealership waiting due to it being so "busy". This has not been the first experience I've had with a situation like this.If you do not live close or it's not convenient for you coming to advantage toyota, I highly recommend you look elsewhere for service as mavis, pepboys or just about any other place can provide better service in terms of time.Only reason for the 2 stars out of 5A) they opened at the promised time of 7amB) they used the paper mats and plastic seat covers.However be weary that the advisors do lie about the status of your vehicle as you may ask for updates telling you "its on the lift" when you can easily identify your vehicle parked up outside the garage at the side of the building!

LOVE ADVANTAGE TOYOTA.Solid service They are knowledgeable and professional..since 2020 they have been servicing my car, and working with Andy it is an absolute pleasure! Andy is extremely patient, and most importantly he is very professional. I highly recommend you talk to Andy if you are considering taking any business with Advantage Toyota. They went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly! I changed the service appointment several times but they were accommodating each timeThe service and customer care I received is always second to none. The reception team is friendly and polite. I arrived at 8:30am. Oil change, wheel alignment and wiper blade replacement done. Tire pressure was also supposed to be checked and fixed. Car wasn t ready until 1:30pm. Started driving it home and saw they had not fixed my tire pressure. Total bill was $520 at 4+ hours. And then they forgot to to take care of the tire pressure. Appointment do not mean anything. You will have to wait 3 hours for a regular oil change. Be wary of ANY service suggested. This place is a scam!! ready to rip you off. It happened to me twice!! second time, I wanted to give them a second chance to redeem themselves because this is a dealership. Plus, I was contacted by a manager to discuss my experience the first time I voiced my concern about how I was treated and how I felt ripped off. The promise to make up was vain after a couple services. Please stay away and save your money. You may say the mechanics in the neighborhood is as bad but try to inquire with friends. I do not mind a moderately costly service as long as a get a good service but I think that changing or asking to change a part that is still very good is a rip off. performing or pretending to perform unnecessary service is a rip off...STAY AWAY!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Second time bringing my Rav 4 in for general maintenance. They have an easy check in process with several staff ready to assist. Worked with William this time who was pleasant and accommodating. I had been to Advantage a couple of times before and those appts were "OK" at the very most. I was planning on coordinating my next maintenance appt with my visit to my company's office upstate so I could go to a Toyota there but alas, the pandemic and snow storms derailed those plans so I decided to give Advantage another shot. I'm glad I did. My service advisor was Margie and she was great. Greeted me warmly from the beginning, asked me about any concerns, actually checked on the things I told her to check and reported back to me. She advised on some items that could wait and which she thought needed to be done now. The end price was even lower than the estimate, which I definitely appreciated. She even gave me her card so I can let her know if an issue I discussed with her needed further attention. It didn't because they did such a great job. I was able to work on my laptop while I waited and the appointment only took like 2 hours; by far the least time I've ever spent at a Toyota! Thank you Margie!!

I scheduled an appointment to fix a recall notice. Made this appointment 16 hours ago for 7:30 am. They made up a story there was no appointment made. This is the second time they have pulled this. And the last for me.

Scammers. Long story short they just got my car and I told them not to work on it and if I can have my car back because they were gonna make me pay over $300 for the service when I can get it free next month. I asked for my car back several times and they refused to give it to me saying it s almost done. Well an hour later they still had my car! They re liars and scammers. I hate this place.

Went for my 10k service. Tech marked cabin air filter is GREEN, meaning good condition. After I leave I noticed I had locked the glove compartment and had the key on me so they never check it. I then checked the filter myself and it was filthy.Free service included with new car I guess I can't complain.Update:8.1.19Went for 1st state inspection, 3 minute job took approximately 2 hours. Next time I'm just paying for it at a local gas station.

Horrible service!!. Since last service on October 2020 they tagged my car on 3/21 for next service due. I came on 3/21, they told tag was wrong actual due on April. Today April 3rd, I came and they are saying due is on June, I m early. I am very disappointed . They wasted my 2 weekends. Paperwork saying early service for customer request. But it is their fault.

I had my suv serviced at advantage toyota they replaced a water pump that was under warranty when I told them to replace EVERYTHING that was under warranty within a month my suv ac is making noises when it's turning on

I made appointment for diagnostic they tell over the phone it would $146+tax. When I get to dealership for service appointment they asked me for $450+ tax personally won t recommend if you are paying out of your pocket
