While it took a little longer than usual to complete the sale (vehicle from Ohio), Angel was right on the ball with everything, and was diligent on keeping us informed and updated throught the entire time! I would recommend him to Everyone!!! He definitely has patience and went above & beyond! A+++++++

Absolutely phenomenal service department. I did not buy my vehicle from dons Ford but that does not matter they still treat me as if I did in the service department.Had brakes and rotors done, small issue after which was immediately corrected by the service department and they compensated me for my inconvenience which was literally nothing. Would highly recommend bringing your car there for any type of mechanical issues they will treat you like family.

DON T DO IT. I bought a used BMW from them. After the sale the salesman said they were going to pull it into Service and go through it and do the inspection. AFTER THE SALE? It took 3 weeks to get the parts they needed to inspect it. They ILLEGALLY put a NY State inspection sticker on a car with threads showing through the tires on the inside where you couldn t see them. The car had a cracked wheel. The convertible top got stuck on the first try and parts of the top were held together with ZIP TIES which we have video of. The salesman never returned my calls. The GM did at first and then didn t. He paid for a limited extended warranty which covered nothing. They paid for the cracked wheel and a new battery and then the service person Billy said that s it. They would pay for nothing else because the car was used. The struts are bad. ILLEGAL and a NIGHTMARE. Hopefully the State of NY Inspection will do something because we kept the tires as proof and the BMW dealership photoed the cracked wheel and ZIP TIES but the worst part was refusing to return calls!

There is nothing that I enjoy less than car shopping - to me it's like pulling off a bandaid. Jim at Don's Ford created a very relaxed experience from start to finish. Jim is so aware and his years of experience and social skills really made it a better process for me. He kept me informed, was easy to get in touch with - he replied quickly and proactively kept in touch, and I truly felt that he used his knowledge and understanding of what I was looking for to match me with a great fit. Don's Ford has the best prices on vehicles (I searched within a 150 mile radius) and loads of vehicles to choose from. Don's Ford made the whole car shopping process 'ouchless'.

NEVER PURCHASE HERE. I found a vehicle through this company using driveway, did all the necessary paper work and deposits, added the vehicle to my insurance then spent days trying to get information on when the delivery would be. Finally, the delivery driver reached out and told me sorry there was a mix up this vehicle was sold to someone else. I have now spent several days with barely any answers and constantly being told someone would call me back. I have not recieved my money back or the vehicle I purchased. and the real kicker is the vehicle is still listed for sale on the website. But according to driveway its all the dealers fault as they apparently sold the car that i already bought to a friend of the gms. THEY SOLD ME AN ALREADY SOLD CAR, SAID WHOOPS AND STILL HAVE THIS CAR LISTED AS FOR SALE!!!! YET I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE VEHICLE OR A REFUND. 100% SCAM DEALERSHIP AT THIS POINT!! STAY AWAY from both this dealership and Driveway!

Bought a used truck it was an easy buying experience seemed on the up and up. They gave me a great trade in price and I was super happy... until we got it home and started noticing things weren't quite as they seemed the truck it self is fine but it was sold with a tonal cover held together with wire and with broken clips making it unusable in the open position. My bigger issue is it was sold with mismatched tires on the rear axle brought it up to my sales person I was told those were things that they don't check on used vehicles because it's not part of the safety inspection. Even though the carfax stated new tires upon further inspection only the mismatched tire appears actually new so 1 out of 4. Could possibly lead to rear diff problems if left as is9/21/2023 they did replace the three used tires for matching new tires after the sales manager reached out it took awhile but he got it done

Extremely disappointed with the service department at Don s Ford since receiving our 2022 Bronco Big Bend in late February. Have been a customer since 2016, leased two Fusions with them, my family buys vehicles from them, and I ll probably never return after all of this. It s been beyond disappointing and some of the worst customer service I ve ever experienced. I understand they re short-staffed, and circumstances out of their control aside, there s still no excuse for the lack of communication, gaslighting, and negligence. I called Don s Ford over a week in advance to make our service appointment, notified them of a windshield recall letter we received from Ford, and was told okay got it on the phone. When I arrived I almost didn t get a loaner vehicle; was told at first they had none but then with some digging they found an EcoSport for us (a vehicle $20k less than our Bronco). They had our Bronco for nearly two weeks and the windshield wasn t fixed - we were told this is due to them needing to make an appointment with their glass people. Why weren't those arrangements made when I called the WEEK before? After having our Bronco for 13 days in their shop, only ONE problem out of many was resolved, the vehicle was returned to us filthy with mud all over the fenders, and rust spots on the undercoating (see photo, was told that s the driveshaft and is normal to see rust) we were told would be addressed simply were not. Major issues with the headlights turning on by themselves and we re told there s nothing they can do about it bc there s no code for it. So we are currently driving around a brand new 2022 Bronco that has all kinds of issues from electrical to mechanical, that aren t being resolved, but we re definitely paying the full monthly payment on it still. I guess this is what you get when you buy American made these days.

My son in law and daughter bought a 2022 Ford Bronco. The customer service ( Bob) there was amazing and they treated them with respect as they were young customers and I loved it. They are very happy.

A painless process. Matt the sales manager was informed and helpful. He listened well to what we wanted and helped us find it. He also did a great job of showing us details and setting up the systems after the sales. We appreciated his knowledge and helpfulness.

I just bought my second vehicle in less than a year from Don's Ford. I worked with James Hagadorn both times and he's been nothing less than exceptional. The second vehicle I bought was for my son who recently got his license and is heading to college in about a month. James treated us like family. He was just as concerned about making sure my son was driving away in a good reliable and SAFE vehicle as I was.The finance manager Jenny was also great to work with.Thanks to the whole Don's Ford team for two great experiences.

My salesman Cameron was a tremendous help. Very knowledgeable and polite. I'm very pleased with my 2016 Escape but I was charged with a warranty that I didn't want that cost me $3900 .through the life of the loan.

I bought a brand new 2023 Ford Escape a little over a month ago. I absolutely love it! Eli was my salesman and he was absolutely amazing! He definitely deserves to be employee of the month if they do that kind of thing as he went above and beyond to get me into the new ride and made the process smooth and timely. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with patience and detailed explanations and he also showed me how to use every single feature of the vehicle while test driving it on both highway and back road driving. On the day of the test drive it was torrential raining and he had me park under the covered service area so I wouldn't get wet walking back into the building (he then went and moved the car back on the lot and took the rainfall on himself) which was very polite and thoughtful to do for the customer. He seemed to really value me as a customer as he never rushed or pressured me and he did everything possible to get me the best deal/discounts and keep me close to my desired monthly payment price range. He took care of setting up the insurance for me too. On the night I picked up my new car after my work shift, both him and Jenni stayed an hour past closing to ensure I could drive my new car off the lot that evening. Eli helped me set up the Ford pass app prior to me leaving and overall he really made the car buying process enjoyable, exciting, and a good experience. He also reminded me to reach out to him in the future for any questions or future maintenance work which shows he really cares. It was scary going into the car buying process as a young female who didn't know much about cars and loans and I had previously been to several other dealerships (I went to pretty much every Steet-Ponte dealer on Commercial Drive) prior to finding Don's Ford in Utica and Eli blew all of the other salesmen I had seen at other dealerships out of the water with his great customer service! I highly recommend Don's Ford to anybody looking for a new vehicle! My parents raised me up on Fords as my parents have a 1970s Ford truck, a 2002 Ford Explorer, and a 2005 Ford Explorer all still on the road to this day (we are nearing the end of 2023 now) so I am proud to be a Ford Escape owner knowing these brand vehicles are made to last and it was a pleasure doing buisness with a well known, reputable dealership here at Don's Ford.

This was my experience: I found a car online and inquired about it. I asked very specific questions about its features. I travel an hour to look at this vehicle only to find out it DID NOT have ANY of the features I asked about, and the sales person I was communicating with was not there.After I was calmed down, another sales person helped me to see if they had anything else that would fit my needs. I had no intention of buying here after being lied to, but I did find a car that not only fit my needs, they had it classified wrong, so it was under priced.We test drove it and it was great. We purchased the car. My son drove it home and said it was shaky. I thought, no way, it was smooth before, so I drove it. It was horrible. I immediately took it back. Their service department told me the tires were garbage. It was smooth when I drove it. Did they swap out the tires after they sold it to me?!?I told them I wanted new tires or give me my money back. They did change the tires.But wait, there's more. On a separate note, I purchased a vehicle on 6/28. They did not pay off my trade in until 7/10, which ended up costing me an additional $18.83. Whatever. But then I get a card in the mail that says I need to send them another $10 to get my registration !!!Bottom line, I spent $60,000 at this dealership, AFTER THEY LIED TO ME TO GET ME THERE, (I know, I should have RAN away), they tried to swap out great tires for garbage ones with "flat spots", their service department's words, not mine, they cost me $20 by holding my money for almost 2 weeks, and then held my registration ransom for an additional $10.RUN, don't walk, away from this dealership.

Just used Don's ford pick up and delivery system free of charge and it is fantastic! They even went a little further than the mileage requirements. Inspected and fixed my recalls with no hassle. Love this delearship and the experience. 1000% recommend them.

I received a prompt response from a very nice salesman after finding the car online. In less than a week I had the car with no hassle. I was able to make an appointment to view/test drive the car I found. They even picked me up and drove me the two hours to the dealership to pick up the car. I m very happy with the service and the welcoming atmosphere I received at Don Ford and Scott Risucci.

Very unhappy with my experience. Wasted time and gas.A day or two before I planned to see a car they had, I called and inquired about its availability. The person I spoke to was helpful and they said it was available and to come down at the time we had set up.So today I arrive and the sales representative ask what I'm there for I tell them about the car. They get me set up with another sales representative to help me get situated with the car. They get my information and ask what the car is a couple of times because they have to make sure they still have it. Needless to say, they do not. The sales representative leaves and gets their manager to tell me it has been conditionally sold. They ask if I am interested in anything else, and ask if I'm willing to buy today because they can maybe make something happen. My response was of course no, as I specifically came to look at this car because of the manual transmission and the specifications. Secondly, how would I even know if I want to buy it today if I have not driven it nor seen it in person.Therefore, I am not too pleased with my experience. This is, in fact, the second time I have shown up to a car dealership and the car has been "sold", even with prior arrangements. Very unhappy.

Making such a major purchase can be exhausting and stressful. Honestly, if you want a smoother easier time car shopping I can't recommend Don's Ford in Utica enough. James my salesperson was incredibly helpful and polite. It's great to work with someone who truly understands how tough this kind of buying commitment can be! My test drive was fun and pressure free. When I decided to move forward with the purchase the deal negotiations were smooth and fair. Communication was amazing, top notch responsiveness! Texts and phone calls! Sales manager had my buying paperwork in order and ready when I arrived. I was on the road in my new car within about 15 minutes! A first for me as a car buyer! They even had it fully fueled and re-detailed again despite its immaculate condition! I only worked with two folks here during this transaction but in a year or so when my youngest is ready to buy their first car I will drive the 60 minutes from my home to work with Don's again!

Drove over 3 hours to purchase a pre-owned vehicle and there was some confusion post delivery. Don's Ford staff worked with me to clear up confusion and rectify any remaining issue. I am extremely pleased with the vehicle I bought, maybe one of my favorite cars ever. As an encouragement to other customers make sure you always leave yourself enough time to not be in a rush (my fault) and if you are not sure about any detail simply ask questions. Two thumbs up from me for Don's Ford.
