Summary:In terms of quality work, they do a terrific job. But from my own experience, I wouldn t go back to them if I needed a job to be done at a timely fashion.(For More Detail, Read Bellow)Issue I had:I went to them because I had a broken mirror and two of my passengers doors that had dents and crashes; with an additional issue with my passenger door not openingPrice:Their pricing is a bit on the steep end of things, so if you re paying out of pocket, get ready to pay a big amountI m terms of Job Getting Done:They fixed everything I enlisted for to be fixed with no issueEmployees:Very helpful and were apologetic of the extra time that they tookOverall:The only issue I had was that I was given a time frame of when the job would be done ( which was two weeks) and it was stretch for an additional week; it would have possible stretch further if I was not persistent on calling them.Other than that, the work they did was great and I thank them for it.

Called them this morning and was kind of blown away by this response. We've been having parking battles with the business next door and We were looking for someone to come tow cars out of the lot at night. They said they don't do "predatory towing" and gave us the number of the scummiest scumbags in the towing world John Rivers. Officially it sucks they can't help us but as someone who drives a car in Troy it is great that a tow company actually has some morals and lines they won't cross. If I ever need a tow I'm calling Vons just on this principle alone.

They did a wonderful job on my vehicle fender and at an awesome price compared to other auto body shops around Troy and Albany. My one complaint is that it took an extra day to finish because of issues with paint colors ON ANOTHER CAR. It wouldnt of been bad but it was highly Inconvenient being my ride to and from work and kids ride to and from work was the same person who work night and for 4 ( not 3 ) DAYS HE GOT NO SLEEP. And they didnt even discount me any money for the inconvenience.

I've been told by a different mechanic that I have to replace my brakes with the cost of $1K to be able to pass the inspection. I wanted to get a second opinion and brought my car here. The other mechanic lost a business and money. I trust Joe and his team for any future mechanic help.

Very trustworthy shop. Von s was recommended to me by multiple friends and I recommend this garage to friends as well.Von s is one of the rare shops that tell you when repairs aren t worth the cost. They live on reputation and return business.I just took a vehicle there for a pre-purchase inspection. They were very thorough and patiently explained everything wrong with it. With used car prices as they are (11/2022), it s well worth a visit to Von s to have them look the vehicle over.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection

I have taken two of my vehicles there in the last couple of months and have gotten excellent service. Joe, his father, and the team are very thorough, professional, and operate with integrity. They treated me and my family with respect and ensured that I understood what they were doing and why. They worked hard to make sure my vehicles were diagnosed properly and completed the jobs in a timely manner. I believe they charge fairly. I've been looking for a place like this for a long time here in Troy. I'm happy to say that Von's is where I will always take my vehicles for service.

This garage is a true find!! They are honest, friendly, do good work at a very fair price. My teenage son went to them for a repair and they gave him a good price, treated him very well, did exactly what they said they would in the time that they said they would. The work looks great and they actually came in under the original quote. So glad we found them as we will definitely need and use them in the future.

Great service. Took my Mercedes to these folks and they fixed it at half the price of dealer estimate. Have sent many friends here who have all had similar experiences. Helpful fair and experienced.

They had my car after a accident for 15 hrs and charged me$250 for the tow fee that s fine but $65 a day for storage and they didn t even have it 24 hours place is a rip off every other place I ever had a tow issue $25 a day and for a accident $250 not like it was impounded for a crime. They have a great racket going on

Just want to take a minute to share my experience with Vons Tow, after towing my car the damaged the control arms.. then when called on it said they only saw the one side damaged and so I brought it to another shop who showed and recorded tow damage in the rear identical both sides. They agreed to repair the car... I picked my car up from the shop and 10 minutes later my car was smoking blown gasket intake and my hoses literally unhooked... Yet again ANOTHER mechanic verified the hoses had been tampered with and unhooked. Kennedy's did the whole run through of what work was needed 15 mins before I dropped my car to Vons. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE THEY ARE SCAMMING LYING SCUMBAGS.

Horrible customer service and very rude. Ive also never been to a garage that charges a bunch of money just to look at a car its ridiculous and never even told me what was done or that i was being charged until after i showed up. I wouldnt recommend anybody i know to go there such a bad experience.

Great family business that is honest and affordable. They do great mechanical and body work. I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you need a tow they have you covered as well.

Great shop. Always saves the parts to show you after a repair. Never does anything without approval and never pushes unnecessary fixes. Very trustworthy.

Always friendly, don't recommend work you don't need
