Eric in service waited on me as soon as I walked in. He estimated a1 hour wait while they serviced my Jeep. He clearly explained the possibilities about my problem and what they may or may not be able to do. They ran the diagnostics and because it was a Jeep they didn t have the proper equipment to fix my problem and directed me to Armory Jeep to get the proper fix.Excellent service and would highly recommend!

John is such a great customer service person. Very nice and friendly and was a great touch that he remembered me and didn't even have to tell him who I was. I'm glad he works there. Makes me feel like always coming back. Ty

Usually the service has been great except my most recent visit. When they put my wheels back on they must have used nearly 200ftlbs of torque on the lugs. For my particular problem, it was covered under warranty and the issue was resolved for no charge. A pleasant surprise as I was expecting easily $1000 bill to address my check engine light (especially with a dealer garage working on it). Service was fast and professional. Rating 4 stars as the guy up front initially thought I was another client and rang me up for their bill. Not the biggest deal as the transaction is void, but should ve at least confirmed who i was instead of assuming.

John G. was amazing. Polite, efficient, & understanding. Most importantly, honest. Which is hard to come by in this industry. He won t take advantage of you & will do his best to keep everything at a reasonable cost. I needed more work done than expected but also had another appointment to get to & needed to leave at a certain time. John made sure I was out! Even added in a car wash! Next time my Subaru needs servicing I m seeing John!

Wonderful experience at Subaru service. Everything was done efficiently and thoroughly. I am amazed that my car was vacuumed and washed beautifully. Thank you again for fantastic service! Kenny is the absolute BEST and always makes my visit a pleasure. THANK YOU

My 1st time service at the Troy Subaru. John was exceptional.... came out to greet me as soon as I pulled in, promptly set me up with a loaner car, texted updates on the service of my car and even washed it. He is so kind and high energy. Will definately be requesting him again. Thank you!

We have always had a positive experience!! Ken Anele is the best. He s friendly and patient with us! Everyone is very friendly from the minute you walk in till the end paying the cashier. The waiting area is comfortable. We are kept informed of the progress and even have a video sent to our phone! Thank You

I ve purchased two Crosstreks from Carbone of Troy. I ve found my experiences from sales, service and parts to be efficient. The associates are very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My Crosstrek is used for general purpose travels but also to transport two lightweight pack canoes to remote areas in the ADK s.

The service department has greatly improved during the past year. Two employees I have dealt with recently, Kenny Abel and John Gardy have been great. They have been friendly, helpful and will take the time to answer any questions I may have .

We felt very comfortable and not pressured. We feel like we bought the car that we wanted and not geared to a car other dealership want you to buy. Our sales person Doc Johnson was friendly, knowledgeable and just wonderful to work with.

I ve had some issues with this Subaru in the past, but this experience was great. The girl who took care of me, I don t remember her name she was so nice!! The inspection took about an hour. But they even washed my car!Again. My girl was awesome she was tall, had long nails, I think she had braided hair? She was in the middle kiosk when going through the service exit.

Explained everything well. Waiting area is very nice. There was a discrepancy on the bill, but when mentioned it was promptly fixed. They gave me a loaned vehicle because they had to order a part and it was very nice. Great experience.

Sales was an amazing experience but got to rate it a 1 star just because of the service when it comes to the car. I ve had an ongoing squeaking sound coming from the rear left side since I got the car. I ve had it serviced twice, first time they didn t hear anything & second time they fixed the problem. It s exhausting having to drive back and forth to Troy from Schenectady to still be dealing with the same problem. Hope no one else has to go through this.

Excellent service from Kenneth and the technicians. They thoroughly explain what they find and are fair and honest. Expected to pay $800 and left paying only $307 because I didn't actually need everything I anticipated.

Service is very good. The service advisor Kenny is very helpful, he will go out to the waiting area and explain to you what is going on with your vehicle. And if he doesn't see you there he will take the time to go looking for you 5 stars for him.

Great service. Easy to schedule on line. You are kept informed about all aspects of what is being done. Nice, clean, spacious area to wait with comfortable seating, desk areas with charging stations and wifi, snacks and beverages. Service provided and bill explained fully. And a car wash too!

Prompt, efficient service. Both the service advisor (Erik) and the service tech (Jose) were excellent, and attentive to my problem. It turned out to be nothing of consequence, and they didn't try to foist off any unneeded work on me, as so many dealers attempt.Also one of the other service advisors (Kenny) who I've worked with on previous visits has always been superlative.

Both John and Joe were great!! The wheel bearings on my outback had to be changed. The service was quick and efficient. When I continued to hear a noise, John told me to come right in and it was again serviced quickly, the problem fixed and I was on my way.

Very friendly and professional, work was completed exactly the way I asked. Only thing I think needs to be changed is the upsell. I knew what I needed to have done but they kept trying to sell me on the $199 charge to inspect and tell me what I needed done.

I bought a car remotely from central Illinois because New York is where I found the car I wanted! It was terrifying; I had a not-so-pleasant experience with Vroom trying to buy a car remotely some time ago. So I was scared, but I also wanted the car. Zoe, Saifar, and Rudy were so helpful throughout the process. They empathized with my fears and reassured me multiple times. Everything happened just as they assured me it would. I had to coordinate my own way of getting my car from their lot to my house, and I was so happy when it pulled up to my driveway! My only critique is that it showed up with an empty gas tank and depleted electric battery - not a deal-breaker, but that one little detail was just slightly disappointing! Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Thank you New York for helping this Illinois kid buy a car remotely!!

Have had my Crosstrek serviced here multiple times since moving to the Troy/Greenbush area. From basic maintenance to a recent repair these guys have been great. I was having an issue with noise coming from the rear of my car due to failed bushings. Service tech and I went for a drive to confirm the issue and service advisors Eric and Kenny kept me very well informed throughout the whole process. Was given a loaner car without hesitation for the time being and despite parts not arriving to the dealer on time due to inclement weather, the repair was completed in a timely manner. They definitely take customer concerns seriously here and don t blow things off like I ve seen at some other dealerships. I will definitely use them again for all my future car needs.-JD

Came in for my oil change and every staff member I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. It s also so nice to have the car washed and mats cleaned after the service. Highly recommend!

I feel like Subaru of Troy should be the training headquarters for the other dealerships in the area. None of the three others even come close to the customer care I've been given in Troy. They are so compassionate, respectful and professional. I actually look forward to going there for services. Kenny keeps the service department running so smoothly its a well oiled machine. I noticed when he comes to tell you about your car he will sit in a chair to be at eye level with customers or squat if there is no chair. That really impressed me. Hes so fantastic. There are quite a few darn good looking guys roaming around. All very kind gentlemen with great personalities. The waiting room can not compete with any other. A wide variety of snacks being replenished and healthy ones too like apples and granola bars along with bags of chips and popcorn. The latest and greatest high tech coffee and hot chocolate machine. It's unreal.And all complimentary. A separate toy room for kids. Games like battleship for kids- and adults cough cough. I've owned Subies since 1998 and this is by farrrr the best dealership I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with.

I came in with a video of my car making a concerning noise. Dealer immediately identified items needing warranty repair that were missed by other nearby dealers. Then this dealer spent the next few weeks convincing subaru corporate to replace my transmission, in the mean time i had a new loaner car. They fixed it and went above and beyond to make my life easy during the repair process. Most importantly, my car has no weird noise now! Super big thank you to kenny and mike!

Ryan did a great job with my Subaru. He diagnosed a problem I was having and fixed it with a software update. Kenny was terrific at checking me in and getting me setup in the lounge. Great service!
