We ve taken our cars to Fitzgerald s a few times since moving to Lansingburgh a decade ago. This year, our old Rogue had an exhaust problem due to rust that they were able to repair quickly with a custom weld. Not much later, the parking brake got stuck closed due to you guessed it rust, and on a rainy Monday morning, Dan himself rolled up in the tow truck to pick it up and free it up that day. I never feel intimidated or talked down to, and I feel like I m always getting a straight explanation. I m happy to have this shop in my neighborhood!

I tried to replace an O2 sensor myself on my 2009 Hyundai Elantra, but it was frozen in place. Emailed a garage in Wynantskill and never heard back. Stopped in at Fitzgerald's and they took the job quickly and at a fair price. Thanks, Fitzgerald's!

I have been taking my vehicle to Fitzgerald s for about 3 years now, and I have had nothing but quality and affordable service from talented, straight shooters who will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the work done to your vehicle. Dan the owner is a super honest man who takes great pride in the service his garage provides, and you can rest assure that when you bring your vehicle in, you re leaving it in the best of hands.Earlier this year, I made the mistake of taking my car to a local garage chain to get my NYS Inspection done due to a tight personal schedule. To my dismay, I ended up with a jammed hood, a broken hood latch, and no inspection. First thing I did was call Dan the owner, and he told me to bring my car to the garage and they would take a look.Not only did his garage replace the entire hood latch system, but he also made sure he was there every step of the way in helping me win my small claims case with guidance and support.When I thanked him, his response was simply, I just want to make sure that good people aren t being taken advantage of, or unfairly treated. This is what I mean when I say they go above and beyond and genuinely care about their customers. He s got a customer for life in me and my family no doubt.

Service is great! They always get me in fast & they always explain what my best options will be and what's going to be worth my money in both the long term & short term. Ladies, you won't get ripped off here. It's the only place I'll let touch my truck.

I can not give my thanks to Fitzgeralds enough! Very professional, friendly and efficient...took my bmw yet again for a check engine light. It was an appointment I canceled I stopped In at 8am and they were able to still look at me car and do the work. Listen..if you want good quality work done on your vehicle and you're in the lansingburg area stop in fitzgeralds! Thank you guys at fitzgeralds again!

Any i have a problem with my car I always go to Fitzgerald auto because they are great mechanics and people. If they are busy they always make time to look and fix my car. I would recommend them to everyone.They are awesome. Took my car (bmw) here because I was hearing noise from the rear of the car, found out it needed struts. Made an appointment for the work to get done and I must say my car drives like a dream again and got its stability back. There was nothing but professionalism, friendly and efficient staff, I felt welcome unlike how I feel when I go to bmw. I expected the work to be pricey due to brand of car and bmw parts but I drove off feeling like it was money well spent. I will definitely be back for future work. there is nothing like going somewhere to get work done and spend money and not feeling welcome. I did not get that feeling at Fitzgeralds, I highly recommend. 1st-time custom but will return, hopefully, no time soon though

They got my car in quick and fast to fix an broken electric window before I drove back to Vermont. I waited for the car so I know it only took an hour exactly yet my receipt billed me for 1.5 hours of labor. When I noticed I called right away. They offered me a free oil change which I declined and when I offered to come back down with my credit card so they could adjust it the guy said he could adjust it without the card. It took a little bit of time but they refunded the extra charge for the time.

I ve been coming here for years now and never unsatisfied.. I brought in some headlight bulbs from advanced auto and asked to have them installed , wasn t a problem but the owner (forgot his name) Gave me some great advice about a better cheaper bulb he uses himself online .. He then looked it up on eBay and gave me the direct order number for my vehicle to buy them .. I brought back the other bulbs and had the ordered ones installed the following week the same day I came in.. Great , honest people and I will continue to use them.- Thanks Fitzgeralds

Purchased a jeep Wrangler little over a year ago that had a pre installed lift kit put on it. Been having some issues pop up every month or so. Turns out the lift kit was done very sloppy and half assed. Was recommended to Fitzgerald's and they have been nothing but helpful with me. Have explained in detail why I am having these issues and what the underlying cause is. They are very honest and straight forward without trying to sell me unnecessary parts or repairs. Going to on Wednesday to get everything fixed hopefully once and for all. Would highly recommend them to anyone for something as simple as an oil change so much more complicated work. They get the job done quickly and efficiently with a fair price. Never go to a chain even for things as simple as oil changes I will only use Dan and Fitzgerald's from now on

My drivers side wiper failed during a rainstorm and they were nice enough to squeeze me in. It turned out the wiper motor transmission had failed. They replaced it quickly. They owner was very friendly and seemed very honest. I was very satisified with the customer service and would not hesitate to recommend this shop to my friends.

Honest and fair. Was stranded in Troy with my oil leaking all over, they took it in and had it fixed in 90 minutes at most. Ended up being a fairly simple job and they very easily could've told me anything. Nice guys and honest work.

I love this place. Very friendly, accommodating, and fair. I waited longer for the tow truck that I had to for my repairs. Dan and his crew are great. Only mechanic in the area I will ever go to!!!!

Nothing inspires loyalty like a really honest mechanic. Dan Fitzgerald goes out of his way to take care of my family and save us money whenever possible. (Plus, he really knows his stuff.) Even though we've moved a half-hour away, with literally hundreds of closer auto repair shops, we always bring our cars back to Fitzgerald's.

I had this shop recommended to me by a couple friends of mine.I called on Wednesday around 10am to see if they could look at my car. They told me they where a bit busy but if I could bring it in today they could have a look at it that day and if not then on Thursday. Ok, fair enough, I bring the car in around noon. They had 20+ cars in the lot and where actively working on two pick ups, a fleet van and a car. Even with all the commotion I went to the office and gave my information as well as a description of the problem. They said "Ok, we'll look at it as soon as we can and let you know."Lo and behold, two hours go by and I get a call from them, that I missed because I wasn't expecting a call so soon. I called back around three (they close at 5) and they told me what was wrong as well as a quote. They had the car done by 9am on Thursday and the bill was exactly what the quoted me.I am very impressed and will be taking my car to them in the future.

I will say they do good job and work the only thing I will say is I ve never had to pay $150 just for labor so it felt like I wasn t saving even with warranty on my brakes I still paid about the same without warrantyService: BrakesService: Brakes

My son is a student @ RPI, and he was experienceing car troubles. Not being from the area, I had to search for a repair shop via GOOGLE. I contacted a few shops in the Troy area, and ultimately chose Fitzgeralds. Bill was very helpful, and arranged for towing & repairs. The original price quote was fair and on target, and we had the repairs done in one day.

I took my truck to them to have the heads done after 6 months they destroyed it so bad it can t be repaired. Enter at your on risk.
