I had an appointment that I made online for 5 pm little less than a week before the scheduled date. When I arrived, the gentleman at the register was surprised with my appearance and asked if we booked online. We did and it stated it was confirmed in my email. I got the vibe of them being pretty upset that I was there (not personally but my assumption is that they thought their day was over). I asked how long my appointment would be (as I was going to go for a walk since I had my pup) and was given " its the last appointment of the day and there is still cars in front if me". I asked if they can call me when I'm doing and I would walk back over... call comes in asking if I was picking up today? Which I found odd since less than 45 minutes ago i told him i was waiting and walking around. I bought the lifetime alignment and have very little confidence that the shop did any adjustments or just ran through machine and now have to wait 6 months since I don't drive often to confirm this. I will go to a diff. shop for the alignment from now on. I had little confidence walking in- will opt to go elsewhere.

Awesome team I can't say anything bad about the guys here car is always well taken care of and they do wonderful work. I highly recommend coming here and I would not put my car into anyone else's hands.. Thank You Firestone

I m beyond annoyed with this company. I trusted them and it s becoming evident they just don t care. The first time I went to them for an opinion about my control arms I expressed how my car was driving told me just needed an alignment. Paid for other services. Weeks later I go to a different shop just for an inspection where I was then made aware my control arm was so bad my tire was about to come off. I call Firestone just to express myself was told I d receive a call in no time I received the call offered to fix it for free. I dropped it off and they were booked for inspections so just the control arm was fixed. Next morning I go to get an inspection from the other company where once again it s being brought to my attention there s grease spilling into my brakes. I m just not understanding what s going on. I feel like if I m asking you to service my car I m trusting you with my life and others that get into my car.

Great ShopCall made an appointment for my car alignment 2013 Camry with 50,000 miles. It is a busy shop, but they did had a couple openings for alignment on the same day, which was convenient for me. As I was in the area and don't have one by my home about 80 miles away.I chose this place cause it has the best rating in the area for a lifetime alignment. A normal shop alignment cost $130-$150This alignment cost me less than $210 with a coupon out the door. And it s good for the lifetime of the car as long as I own it.Provided a printout of the before and after specs to show the improvement in the alignment.Parking is a little bit of an issue as it is a very congested area give yourself 2-3 minutes to find parking.They recommended the Taco place around the corner, and it was great!!!!I work on cars, and you can't beat this deal. My friend got her SUV done the same. A good alignment shop is hard to find!!!We will be back !!!

I had four new tires, mounted and balanced on my vehicle as I m driving on the highway. My vehicle is shaking violently. The balance was completely off on the vehicle and the tech up all four rims fire stone. Bridgestone have refused to take a responsibility for the damage to my vehicle Saying that the tech never noted damage to the rims and they won t take responsibility for this.

Helped a friend that had a flat tire, called multiple places for a replacement and they were all days out. Contacted Jay at Firestone in Troy and he had the tire in stock. Jay and his team had us back on the road in no time and cost came in under what he had quoted on the phone. We will be sending more business his way for our company in the future for sure.

I brought my car in for a slow leak in one tire and during the repair they damaged my rim. Not only is the tire still loosing air, I was lied to about when the claim was submitted.Update: It s also worth noting that while their social media team is quick to respond to these posts, no one responds to the emails (or voicemail) accounts they mention. A hollow gesture of customer service.

I bought 4 new tires two weeks ago and I specifically told the guy, black walls facing out. I got there to pick up my vehicle, and the technician mounted them with the white lettering facing out. Oh sorry about that sir, if you want to wait, we'll switch that for you. I waited over 3 hours, I'm done waiting. Also, he put friggin old gray valve caps on my valve stems, not my black ones. Won't be going there anymore. The work ethic in this country sucks right now. God help us.

To RPI family, do not go here if you value your life, money, and time. I had the most terrible experience here. They will misdiagnose your car, make you pay unnecessary services, literally ruin you car more than when it is brought in. My story is similar to the other victims in the comments that almost lose their lives to this shops malpractice. I do not know how they hire these mechanics but they clearly do not know what they are doing by the several negative reviews. To summarize my story, I give in my car because it is shaking, they tell me that it is a tire alignment, I warn them telling them it might be the caliper because I had similar problems like that before. Next day I receive my car in worse condition than I left it -shocker. Clearly not even test driven. I go back not even 1 minute away from leaving the lot telling them that what they did did indeed not fix the problem and that it is definitely the caliper as the wheel was seized. I give it back in, shocker, it's the caliper, I had to FIGHT to get the tire alignment discounted out of the caliper because why is it my fault they misdiagnose my car? They do it then after waiting FOUR hours they tell me that there is also a problem with my brake hose.. This was Februrary 10. TWO NIGHTS AGO March 12, I am on the highway when I hear an insane sound in the same wheel that they replaced the caliper. My car completely seizes and I am grateful that I was able to pullover and park overnight. I had to pay EIGHTY FIVE dollars for a tow DOWN THE STREET, I go back to firestone because somehow I just know its their fault. The guy at the front is like what you are describing sounds like your axle broke... After inspection, calls me and is like "have you had any recent caliper work lately?" Im like yes by YOU and then he HANGS UP. They didn't bolt on the screws of my caliper correctly which is why the bolt came loose while I drove... They need to shut down immediately!

I ve been here twice and each time the customer service has been super friendly and informative.I had to get two new tires put on the back of my car. I initially called Mavis across the street and they were so apathetic and seemingly annoyed when I got an estimate and told them I needed to call back - the gentleman on the phone nearly hung up on me.Firestone, however, was patient with my questions and were flexible. Their customer service was prompt and they got the job done quickly. Super happy!

I went in for a New York State inspection and they tried to tell me my car needed 1600 in repairs after not once quoting the price upfront. They also broke the calipers on all my cars breaks. I took the car down to my hometown that weekend and they got all the same fixes done for under 600. Not a trustworthy service!

This is the second time I ve come here and been waiting well past the scheduled time for the service not to be complete. It is very frustrating to take the time out of my day to come at my scheduled time and to be consistently going over and not completing the scheduled items. Like most of these chains, it does often feel like a money phishing operation to those who don t know a lot about cars. This shop is so close to my house but I am disappointed every time :(

I was a dedicated customer to this Firestone for two years. A few months ago, I trusted this Firestone to do an initial purchase inspection and state inspection on a new used vehicle where I was told it was in great condition. Within a month the car check engine light came on and it was pulsing, I paid over $2400 to fix my car although none of the repairs performed resolved the issues the car was having (except that the check engine light was now off). After being verbally abused by an employee at the Latham location where I asked for a new set of eyes to see the car, I ended up taking the car to totally different business and found it had extensive issues that Firestone never disclosed with me (this was the fourth inspection performed on my car in under two months).I did reach out to the customer service number who asked me to call back every 48 hours if I did not hear from a Firestone representative. I was patient after a few months my situation was escalated to a cooperate level of care. However the cooperate office also did not call me and no apologies were even made for the behavior of the employee that was verbally abusive towards me. In essence, you will not be helped if things do not go well at Firestone.It is irresponsible and cruel to recommend them as a business to anyone. I highly advise that you take your car somewhere else.

Scammers here. Told me 'you front brakes are almost out'. Service declined. Went home tear it apart and found pads has more than 1/4 inch left and rotors are fine. BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS

The staff here is incredibly friendly and doesn't pressure you into services you don't want or need. They're very upfront about costs, timelins, etc. and are flexible with drop off. This place is great, everyone was super friendly and personable. Went in to get breaks changed and they let me know the breaks were in good condition so there s no need to change them, they didn t take advantage of me and my money and I got my inspection done their as well. Everything was fast and everyone was respectful tired or not, they have my business from now on when it come to dealing with my vehicle. I definitely recommend!!

REFUSES REFUND: I had ordered brake pads and rotors for my car through Firestone. As I was waiting for the parts, the car got into an accident. Due to this accident, the parts I had ordered were no longer needed. Because of this circumstance, I requested a refund but was refused multiple times because they were "special orders." However, the terms listed in the receipt do not say no refund for the parts nor was I told by the employee who helped with the transaction mentioned about no refund policy. I had spoken with the manager of the store on multiple occasions and have an audio recording of him saying that his employees "might have forgotten" to mention the 'no refund policy on the special orders' to me. I was not informed that the parts I ordered were not only nonrefundable but also 'special orders.'Service: Brake service & repair

Dont go here!! ...TJ was so unprofessional over the phone i called to ask for pricing information on my car he told me i needed a account i told him i just wanted a price he then asked me for my phone number after i already told him i hadnt been there before then he hung up in my face. And didnt answer when i called back. It literally rang to the point of sayin no one is available. How professional! Disgusting!It's 8:41 AM February 6, 2023I really dont no how people like this are allowed to work in this kinda business then you expect people to trust you with there car. But its ok id rather go anywhere else then to have people like this handle my vechile. Get a new job if you dont like yours scumbag!

I have been bringing my cars here for years and love that I always get prompt and polite service. Their prices are comparable to everyone else in the area but here I don't ever feel like they are trying to sell me stuff I don't need. The car is ready when they say it will be, doesn t go over the estimate without calling. I cant even come up with a single complaint about this place. 10/10 would recommend!

Dropped my car off to swap winter tires. Picked it up at the end of the day and my check engine light was now on. I called first thing the following morning to describe the situation and was told it would be an additional $100 to take a look. No one touched the car between it being dropped off and picked up besides firestone.Service: TiresService: Tires
