Tried to take me for 600 dallors said I failed Ny State inspection stating car is pigeon toed and requires two new front tires and an alignment. Individual at front desk ( middle aged bald white guy) told me if I was his girl , hed do these things. He did not have sticker removed nor did I get any paperwork nor was I charged 10 dallors. He swears he was gonna make an unnecessary sale and schduled the work for the next day. I did not show sounded weird to me my dad was a mechanic plus Id gotten an alignment when the car was pulling and two new tire three month before this. I took vehicle to a Honda dealer local and with no mention of Adirondack " failing " my vehicle days earlier MY VEHI LE PASSED INSPECTION. Not one mechanic at Honda told me anything remotely like what they did. Shady individuals doing shady work. BE CAREFUL! Ive made a report to the FTC as well. .

They were very good. Took their time and looked over my entire truck not just what it went in for.. louie and Josh were fantastic. I told them take your time I'm not in a rush look everything over. Did great job

Highly recommend. Especially the Troy location and a guy named Lewis- I needed new tires and called the halfmoon location, they couldn't have been bothered with me. So when I called the Troy location, I was expecting the same, and I was surprised when a guy named Lewis- answered the call- he couldn't have been any more helpful - and pleasant - he got me tires and got them installed in a very timely manner - This is the type of person you would want working for your company. The world needs more Lewis'

Louis and his team are top notch and it all starts with Louis. He is super friendly and professional. He knows what his team is capable of in a day and he delivers what he 'promises'. He's replaced both tierods and other things as small as repairing a nail in my tire. Great experience ! Bought 4 new General Tires and 4 wheel alignment 3 months ago. All done right ! Yesterday the steel tire valve started leaking on one of the tires. I called and they got me in right away and determined that it was the steel tire valve. They made the repair in less than 1/2 hour and I was on my way. Had my inspection done there, got me in immediately. Also wheel bearings and outer rods, alignment done. The guys Louis and Josh who serviced my vehicle are great guys and do great work. The mechanics at Adirondack Tire are always so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I ve been there several times for various things and they always treat me with respect. As a young woman, finding a mechanic that does not patronize you or mansplain is a HUGE deal, so I m happy I feel comfortable with the staff there. I ve always gotten a price quote beforehand and they ve honored it 100% of the time, so I don t have to worry about the bill when I pick up my car. Worth every penny!

Did good work.Make sure you schedule EVERY procedure beforehand though.Asked for an oil change to be added, when I had my tie rods fixed.Was told, no problem.Oil change was never performed.Wasnt charged, so hold no grudge against them.Just remember to be specific, whencyou make the initial appointment.

Instead of paying high dealership prices my family has been coming here for a few years now. John always treats me well, answers all of my annoying questions and I know they do a great job on my vehicle. They may take more time but it s worth the wait and savings.

I am writing this review because I believe that Adirondack Tire was trying to take advantage of me since I am a 21-year-old female with little knowledge of vehicles. I do not want this to happen to anyone else.My parents and I had gone to Adirondack Tire in Schenectady a few times and they were great. We decided to go to this shop since it is closer to our new home. My parents' first experience here was good--- friendly employees, nice work, and they price-matched the tires.However, in November 2017, (my first experience here) I took my 2012 Ford Escape in for an oil change and state inspection. I brought my car in and 30 mins later I got a call that the control arm bushings needed to be replaced, which would cost $400. They said that the bushings needed to be replaced in order for my car to pass inspection. I told them to do it because I wanted my car to pass inspection. I then called my father and told him what was happening. He told me to call them back and stop them from doing the repairs. I picked my car up and took it to another shop, where my car passed inspection without a problem.

The people at Adirondack Tire are wonderful. As a women I have to be extra careful, unfortunately, that I'm not taken advantage of. The people at Adirondack were friendly, knowledgeable, informative and most importantly HONEST. I went there after being told that I needed brakes. After a thorough check I was informed that my brakes didn't need replacing at this time. I was ecstatic that I found a place that I know I can go to and feel comfortable that I'm not going to be taken advantage of. Thank you Adirondack Tire and the folks that work there. Shelley Steltz

I never knew there was such dishonesty out there. I've been bringing all my cars to them for years, and never thought they would end up ripping me off.I brought my car for an inspection, a car that I put 9,000 miles on since purchase as certified new. Adirondack Tire called and told me I needed brakes and struts all the way around and that my center brake light was out, which can run up to $600. I didn't tell them, but I went to pick up my vehicle before they could start work on it. I found them trying to take the back of the car apart to get to the center brake light, but I stopped them and told them not to fix anything.I then brought my car elsewhere and it passed with flying colors. It didn't need any brakes or struts and the center light was in perfect working condition.Adirondack Tire was just charging me for stuff that wasn't even wrong and they probably weren't even really going to replace. My son also brought his car there on several occasions, and every single time, he has bought new brakes, pads, struts, and anything else they could think of. He spent thousands of dollars with them that he probably never had to spend. Do yourself a favor, save some honest money and look for an honest mechanic.

Fast,friendly service. Had to get 2 front tires to be put on. I had gotten a flat,and had my vehicle towed there. In less than 1 hour,my vehicle was ready to go. Affordable pricing,and peace of mind.

Brought my tires here over 3 years ago when I retired. Haven't put many miles on the car and the tires started leaking air. Today they checked them and resealed them with no charge. Good and friendly service will bring my car back again if needed.

I had a nail in my tire and called to see if they could fit me in. Louis answered, was very friendly, courteous and very quick to say he could in an hour. That worked perfectly. Had me in and out in less than 30m

Wow where do I start.i brought my car in for inspection and two front tires at 8:30am.gentleman says ok we will call u with a couple options for tires.no call.12:30 I call say what's going on.gentleman says we are waiting for your tires what!!!.never called to ask what I wanted and what I wanna spend.so then 2pm comes I call again and says we waiting on tires.really!!.so finally about 3pm they pull my car in for shop and finally do the inspection and get my car when they are almost at closing time.this place is a absolute joke and waste of time.all day for inspection and two tires unreal!!!.i went here because my previous car was serviced here and were excellent. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. If i could give zero stars I would

These guys are all true honest dudes I rebuilt the whole front end of my car and going through some tough times I missed a few things. These guys called me in the back showed me I went and fixes myself and finally got a alignment. I will never go another place. Pizza on me guys thanks.
