I needed an alignment on a Saturday morning and took a chance and walked in this Monroe Muffler. They were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The work was done so fast, and we test drove my 2019 Corolla and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Thank you Monroe Muffler!

Used online booking tool to set up an appointment at an open time for an MYS inspection. Received a call shortly after confirmation to advise they are slammed and cannot accommodate a the inspection for several weeks. They offered to reschedule me and said they had to cancel my appointment.Upon driving by at my originally scheduled time they had two of three bays unoccupied and a mechanic was sitting in a chair not working directly on a vehicle. It is possible they were working on a part or doing research, I will not speculate here.Either the Monro system has a severe breakdown between availability and what they offer customers or something else was off. We have only had good experiences here historically and prioritized this location for vehicle work.We will try again next year but the remainder of this year we will not give them our business. The staff has always been professional and kind. Even the person who callled to cancel was empathetic and professional.

I m done with taking my car to the dealer for service. Several years ago I made an appointment for service and I haven t looked back. The service is great, employees are friendly. As a women taking my own vehicle for service, sometimes has been a nightmare. Going to Monro on Erie Ave in NT has been a pleasure. All work done on my car has been explained to me, no pressure in having additional work done that isn t necessary, that is important to me. Next time you need service, call John at Monro on Erie Ave.

Went in for inspection. Everything about the experience was great. Made appointment over the phone. I left the car and picked it up the same day. I've had work done before there. Always done in a timely manner. The guy at the desk whom I think is the manager seems honest and straight to the point. Overall great experience.

A year and a half ago I went for an oil change and was told I needed new back brakes. I was planning on a 15 hour road trip and brakes were suggested before taking said trip. It's been a year and a half, still haven't replaced the back brakes. They're measuring now at a 4/10. This is my daily driver. Way to try to scam me out of brakes I didn't and still don't need. Wouldn't take my bicycle here.

They saved my baby's life. Got her to pass inspection, also surprisingly were cheaper than other shops around. (: the managers are super nice and knowledgeable and will talk to you about anything vehicle.

First time taking my SUV there. Service was above and beyond my expectations! I felt that I received the kind of service and care that one would receive in the ol days. I highly recommend this place.

I received very quick service and the staff were willing to discuss and work with me on the maintenance I needed done. This was a good experience and while I hope I can limit maintenance to my vehicle, would like to use them again in the future.

My experience was excellent! John was incredibly kind and helpful. He took the time to explain everything in detail about my vehicle s needs. The Monro team was also efficient and expedited services rendered when I was in a time crunch. I am grateful for their wonderful customer service and would recommend this shop to others. Would not pass inspection due to 3 inch strip of tint that was there when I bought the car and the prior 3 inspections. They then changed me $15 to take off so al together for inspection and oil change I was charged $135 . never again . oh update, just got home and realized in the process of removing that small strip of tent, they put a 2 inch long, scratch in the top corner of my windshield when I brought it to the attention of the front counter guy he just shrugged and said things happen no apology, no compensation nothing

John at the erie ave/ twin city location (north tonawanda) is a great and a knowledgeable mechanic. Super attentive, never has fallen through, is great with customers, and dot his i's and crosses his t's.If you had a bad experience with Monroe try this location and ask for John he will be honest and take care of you. He's been there for a number of years and has helped new cars and clunkers within my family/friends over the years.Great job and keep up the good work

Unless you want to get robbed, DO NOT COME HERE! Took my car in because my brake pedal suddenly started pushing to the ground. Sat there and waited for almost 2 hours for them to finally tell me what the problem was and what would be needed to fix it. I was given a set price and told the problem would be fixed- that the brake pedal would be fixed. I was hesitant at first because of the price but seeing that my young son is in my car often, it was a no brainer to just have it fixed except only it wasn t. Once I picked up the car, I didn t even leave the parking lot before noticing they did not fix the problem. I went back into the shop and told them this and they said to come back the next day and they will take a look. So the next day I show up, sit down in the waiting room and within 2 minutes of being there they diagnosed the problem and told me they don t do that kind of work there and I d have to take it elsewhere. Meaning they never looked or found the actual problem to begin with, the problem that they told me would be fixed. So not only is my car not fixed, I now have to find someone that will do the work and I m out the money needed to pay for it because of these CROOKS. Awful experience, 1 star only because I couldn t post 0 stars, would not recommend to my own worst enemy.

Fantastic service! I've needed repairs on my vehicle twice in the past couple months. Both times I called near closing and was able to bring my vehicle in the next morning. Communication is great and prices are fair. What keeps me coming back is how quickly they've been able to accommodate my needs as no one likes the inconvenience of not having their vehicle. Highly recommend!

Went in for an inspection and their opinion on a noise. Inspection passed and they told me what was the issue causing the noise, howbto fix it, and how it doesn't impact the inspection.

This shop is truly a great auto repair shop with wonderful people. I couldn t recommend John and his team highly enough, my car drives straight again and I can brake my car without it shaking! They explained to me my repair in a way that it made a lot of sense, these are honest people!

These guys are great. I went to the for the first time about 2 years ago after continually going to the dealer about my brakes. These guys took the time to fully inspect and show exactly the problem. I then went back for new tires and have been using them for all inspections, any car problems, oil changes. They know what they re doing and don t try to rip you off.

They provide absolutely wonderful service, they are honest and will help you keep your car in great shape. They answer questions thoroughly and help you to make the best choice for your auto needs and services. I fully recommend going to them for any auto needs or questions you might have.

Took my vehicle in for an inspection. They wanted $270 to clean and grease my calipers, clean up the parking brake, and change brake pads on rear. asked about my ceased caliper, they said it looked and worked fine. Pictured is my caliper, that is most definitely not fine. The price did not include a caliper or if anything else needed to be done to the parking brake.
