I've grown to really trust these guys. They tell it like it is, what I do need and what I can get by without, show me everything, are always pleasant, and do a good job for a reasonable price. If they don't do it they even recommended me people that they personally know do a good job.

I recommend anyone who is nervous about car repair, quality or cost to go here. Everyone was polite and made eye contact. Everything was explained and completed as described. No surprises and nothing unnecessary. I am thrilled and will not go anywhere else. Thank you John and crew.

Let me tell you about fruity Mike's motors! They suggested I put a remanufactured motor in my van because if I bought a brand new one I would need a new computer. After talking to several other mechanics I found out that was a lie. During my $5,000 engine replacement they discovered my egr tube had rusted through. This is a $50 piece of metal that they chose to weld a patch on "because it is difficult to reach". That was the first corner they cut but clearly not the last. To their credit they replaced it a week later and only charged for the part, but it should have been handled while the engine was out of the vehicle. Fast forward 2 months and I am in a Ford dealership in Kentucky having a new serpentine belt belt installed because the smog pump was installed wrong and broke off of the motor. When I called to talk to them about it I was told that I had put over 1000 miles on it and it was no longer their problem. Fast forward another 5 months and I am back at another mechanic in California because the seal between the engine and transmission is leaking. I am again told this is not their problem. If you want a mechanic who will lie to you and do a lousy job, cut corners and then wash their hands of you fruity Mike's motors is the place to go. I was up front with Jon when I brought my van to them and told him I was moving to the west coast and needed this vehicle to be ready to make the trip. Sharing this information with them let know that I would be gone and no longer their problem when their shoddy workmanship reared it's ugly head. These guys are the reason car mechanics have a bad reputation.Today's update! The problem wasn't the rear main seal. The problem was the improperly installed the oil pan gasket. The gentleman that repaired this problem said the only way they didn't know it was wrong is if they never looked at it in the first place. I took this van back to them twice trying to get it to stop leaking oil. They told me that the oil pan must be warped and that was the cause of my leak. Turns out it was their shoddy morkmanship that caused the issue. In the picture you can see the blue line on the left side of the oil plan is not in the proper spot. There is absolutely no way they did not know that this was going to be an issue. This was another corner they cut in an attempt to get this job done as fast as possible instead of properly. Again these guys and their actions are the reason car mechanics get a bad reputation. My advise is go somewhere else to get your work done properly.

Amazing auto shop, quick, fair, and professional, I personally will NEVER go to another mechanic EVER AGAIN. I suggest everyone to come here if your vehicle will make it in any situation. They only do what they must unless you suggest otherwise, great auto shop, they have my undying loyalty. Keep up the good work guys!

Since I'm no longer able to do my ownMike barry motors has been working on mine, my friends and family's vehicles for a few years now. Never overcharged and you always know what needs to be done now and what can wait. You always know what you'll pay before any work is ever done, and never tells you need something you don't. Jon is awesome and explains everything...highly recommended!

I've been a customer at Mike Barry Motors practically since they opened, just over 10 years ago. Mike and the guys at Mike Barry Motors are the most honest and respectable mechanics you can find. They won't try to upsell you or make you get repairs that aren't urgently needed, but will make you aware of issues that will need attention. Great labor rates. You do need an appointment for oil changes or inspections because they are a small mechanic shop, but you can be assured you're getting quality attention to your vehicle. As a single mom, many shops will try to take advantage and upsell me to get what money they can. Mike and Jon have gone out of their way to find ways to save me money. They have a lifetime customer here and I recommend them to anyone looking for a regular mechanic that's knowledgeable, honest and fair priced.

Really happy with the customer service.been for inspections and just ask me to fixed what i need to.i have been in other place for inspection they ask you to change everything to rip you just make money but Here jon is great guy .will be mine day to day service shop from now.

The last time I took my vehicle there they changed my starter but said they couldn't lift my van to do further repairs cause it was too heavy, yet they lifted it to inspect it a few years back. I think they just didn't want to work on it
