Charlie and his crew are lifesavers when it comes to automotive work. The prices are fair and the work is good, but they offer something alot of places don't anymore... Honesty. I have never been steered wrong in this shop and I have enlisted them to do all kinds of work over the last few years with great results. Charlie always goes out of his way to make sure customers are happy. I've had everything done here and always with great results. Oil changes, brake jobs, radiators, water pumps, wheel bearings, multiple lift kits installed and tire changeovers seasonally. Charlie has worked on everything for me from 90s pickups to jeeps to SRT challengers, I wouldn't hesitate to bring anything to him. Towing prices are very reasonable as well! Highly recommend Bain's Sunoco

Ridiculously overpriced. Charged $96 for an oil change (not full synthetic, normal oil change). When I questioned the price the shop owner tore up the bill in front of me and told me to take my business elsewhere. I still paid of course, but will be taking his advice and never returning. Don t go here unless you want to pay through the roof and deal with a temperamental mechanic.

Called to get an roundabout estimate on a fuel line leak. Wouldn't even let me explain where the leak was, what type of car it was, or even finish a sentence kept cutting me off but I still tried to explain the details. Finally Cut me off to tell me it's 100 an hr and that it's a complicated job. When I again said it's only one side, I can give u car details and tell u exactly where the leak is .. he still wouldn't listen and said he just was not going to do the job.Already had an issue when I bought a brand new catalytic converter and they refused to put it on the car unless I purchased directly through them despite the CC complying with all NYS regulations.

The good people at Bain's saved our visit to Ticonderoga! My van's brake was locked up rendering us helpless. They got us right in without a complaint and back in the road again for a reasonable price! We had a lovely visit subsequently. Thank you Bain's!

Came into this shop at 7:45 this AM (11/24/15) while on a fishing trip from CT. I was between a rock and a hard place being 5 hours from home and 2 days away from Thanksgiving. Within 1.5 hrs. my problem was diagnosed and fixed and I was back out fishing. I had a bad spark plug/coil pack and my truck was running very rough. He charged me $120 which for that service was worth triple. I gave him a nice tip and he could not have been more of a gentlemen, pleasant, helpful, etc. BTW, I was also pulling a 21' bass boat which was not easy to work with attached to my truck. Can't say thank you enough and it made my day that there are still good people in this World.

we were going to Fort Ticonderoga when our car broke down. It was Friday afternoon, we were 4 hours away from home. We were advised to call Bain's and within 10 minutes they towed the car to the station. We got a taxi to the station in the morning to check the status of the car and were surprised to learn it had already been repaired. They didn't overcharge and were a Godsend to these out of towners. I wish they would move to my town so i could have an honest, reliable repair service station.

A couple months ago on a Sunday afternoon we pulled into this little gas station in this village of Ticonderoga NY. After having a small leak in a tire the young fella working there went out of his way to fix our tire he was excellent treated us very nice and he deserves a raise excellent customer service skills!

Excellent service. Friendly and super helpful staff. We showed up with no appointment because our front right wheel started screaming at us and we were on holiday. They looked it straight away. Sorted it all out within 10 minutes. Back on the road to enjoy the rest of the trip. Get your service and gas here!!

Hooray, Jays! My wife was stranded at a week-long seminar and on the day she was to drive back to DC, discovered her battery was dead! Jay was able to find the right part, get it delivered, and got it installed in very short order, showing great flexibility and customer service. Many thanks and well done!

Tire fell off car sent it to Jay's to be fixed and they stripped the hell out of the hub and the tire almost fell off again
