Rudest most unprofessional lying business I ve ever came across. They keep telling me a new story about my car everyday. The man is down right hostile over the phone and has hung up numerous times before I can barely speak. Liars, cheats and you will never get your car back! Do not go here!Adding second part months later because of what crooks these men are:I'm writing a second bad review on this company. That's how truly terrible they are. I reported them to the better business bureau after the 2 months of getting told lies about when I'm getting my car back was occurring. John the owner promised to pay for my extended rental car because each time i kept going back and being told my car was ready the door wouldn't even open. I have videos and voice recordings to prove everything. I never saw a dime from him. His lies are endless. He never responded back to BBB claim against him. Ignored it completely. Like he will ignore you, and your car. My car since picking it up after having to pay them cash out of our own pocket because he was refusing money directly from State Farm (he extorted us) for $26,000+ still has tons of things wrong with it. These men have zero idea how to fix cars or treat people and get away with it because the owners brother in law is chief of police. It is shameful what this business gets away with. I pray someone reads this review before taking your car anywhere near this terrible establishment and awful people. John and Joe are dangerous. They treat woman worse than men. They believe everyone is below them. they are both as ugly as they are outside as they are inside. They are pathological liars. Every word out of their mouths are lies. Truly disturbing individuals. Any 5 star reviews or positive things you see below if you scroll are from their cronies they are in cahoots with. Entire business is a sham. The real reviews from real ex customers are all negative

Rudest employees ever. I walked in and I wasn t even greeted warmly. I had handed over my credit card to pay and the man behind the counter who I m guessing is the owner coldly replied cash only. When I came back with cash and paid I asked for a ride back to the impound lot and he rudely said call us when you get there . They wouldn t even cut me a break. I kinda got the sense that I was treated that way because I was a man of color. I will never use Stokowski Towing again.

Our RV brakes went bad on a trip home from MA to PA on a Sunday. Nobody would help us b/c it was Sunday. Finally got really bad & we found and called Stiloskis & they told us to come in. These guys were open and fixed us up right on the street!! We could not have asked for better service or luck that they were available and willing to help us!! Thank you!!Service: Brakes

I can not say enough about John. I live out of town and my daughter was at WMC and my wife's car was stranded in a parking lot near Tarrytown. I called John and then showed up at his shop. He saw my hospital badge and told me to just take care of my daughter and that he will take care of the car. He towed the car to his shop, fixed it, and then delivered it my wife at WMC. I tried to pay him but he stated just take care of your daughter. Needless to say, he went above and beyond and I am grateful.Brian G.

This is my first review I have ever given out to any company and it's simply because this was the WORST experience I have ever had. There was one polite person working for Stiloski's who was actually very compassionate and had good customer service skills. I had my vehicle towed (a car I was selling THAT DAY) for a price that was more than half of what I was selling my car for. Not only are they overpriced and cash only but they don't even have decent humans working for them. This towing company literally had the rudest employees I have ever come across. If you're not a people person don't run a business and don't work for one.

I have to say I am thoroughly impressed I have a pearl white Toyota Camry and I have had body work done on my car before and no shop can ever seem to get my color right but I decided to bring my car to Stiloski s for a dent in my door and was nervous about the color matching but this shop did a amazing job not only can you not tell that the car had any body work done on it but the color matches perfectly. John and his crew did a outstanding job and had the car done in a timely manor I genuinely couldn t be happier. Thank you guys so much for the outstanding work and the professionalism I will certainly be bringing any of my vehicles back in the future.

Was having problems with my front tires losing air. They figured out the problem quickly and replaced my valves for a reasonable price. They were professional and courteous. Couldn t have asked for a nicer group of people. Would highly recommend them

The most unprofessional, rude business owners and workers I have ever dealt with. you own a business that performs services for people and depends on repeat business it might be in your best interest to treat each customer with respect and decency. Their website says 24/7 and the male individual who answered the evening call used extremely foul language and was extremely insulting to a me, a customer. I was trying to inquire about money that I needed to pay them to release my car, before work the next morning, but all I got was a cranky man who indicated he could not help me.

Very unprofessional staff beginning with the owner (assuming John Stilowski is the owner and the man we spoke with was indeed him). I get that they deal with a lot of people that are down and out but they freely judge them and are extremely rude. Regardless of why they are there, they are still customers. Refused to give quote over the phone, and they don t take credit cards, forcing people to make two trips if they don t bring enough cash the first time. They have a captive audience, but if you ever have a chance to pick a towing company, do not use them.

I knew I was going to get screwed when my car's alternator went while driving but Stiloski's didn't even use lube (pardon the pun)! I pulled over behind a Stiloski's truck that was already towing another car when John came over and asked if he could help. He said I could get the car towed to where ever I wanted, however, they can take care of me and get me out within an hour and a half (this was @8am). After setting my expectations, they were the most rude and unfriendly staff as well as the owner at this place. I asked what the status of my car was @12pm and they hadn't even looked at it yet. I asked again @1pm, and was told they can't find the alternator. @3pm, they just received it and said to check back again @5pm. When I asked how long does the mechanic think it will take as I don't want to just wait around if I don't have to, he said that he didn't know and that's what the mechanic told him. At 5:30pm, the response was just we're working on it and to stop bothering and asking so many questions. I was furious and said if you hadn't set my expectations, but now I will make sure that I let as many people know as I can how unprofessional and conniving thieves you are to overcharge when one is stranded.Scoring the Tarrytown police dept's contract for servicing their vehicles can keep you afloat but your staff needs some customer service skills.

My husband were traveling to see family out on Long Island and decided to take a scenic Rt. Was the hottest day last Summer, when our air conditioning failed. We could have handled (barely) the 90 plus degrees however, our elderly Aunt was with us and could not chance her becoming over heated. After calling 2 other garages who, could not help in a timely fashion. We found Stiloski's! We were saved as they transported my Aunt to a safe 'cool" vehicle and on the spot "injected" coolant into our car's system. We were on our way within an hour. Fair price for a live saving road side rescue. Thank You Guys!Service: Air conditioning

I am truly stunned at the blatant rudeness they express towards their customers. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in the automotive industry. They told me 60-70 minutes, they arrived 3 hours later! When I would call to check I would get a oh he will be there in 5-10 or 20-30 minutes, and the service members have horrendous customer service, I also was hung up on.When the tow truck guy arrived he was rude and very upset that he had to tow my truck great than a few miles. He also called me a "fuc***g moron" ...I was rendered speechless after this moment.I would recommend everyone avoid this place at all costs! They are simply atrocious.

Called to get my car battery jumped, and I couldn't be more happy. The tow truck arrived quickly, and the service was great. I also received some very helpful advice on what the source of the issue was. Very satisfied

Top notch body shop. They repaired my car after an accident, looks and drives brand new. Not only did they show up to tow my vehicle right away but dealing with Stiloski's towing and my insurance was quick, easy and painless. I would 100% recommend this body shop to a friend after my recent experience.

I just wanted to express my gratitude. I own a tow company in Hagerstown MD. I broke down up next to their location. they where fast to get to our location diagnosed my truck and my driver was back on the road. One of the best companies I have worked with in New York. I Appreciate everything they did and I recommend them to everyone. I will definitely call them again if I am in their area and in need of help.

Very professional. Very timely. They did bodywork for me at a far cheaper price than I was quoted elsewhere. The work was done sooner than when they said it would be and my truck looks like it just rolled off of the showroom floor. I will definitely be going back here. I am not surprised to see this low quality tow truck company have such terrible reviews. It s a Sunday where they are closed and they are using their tow trucks as a trump advertisement. It s pouring rain with low visibility and Four or five tow trucks are on I-95 south contributing to a major backup just because they want to show off their poor quality trump flags. Backup is going from at least Mamaroneck and is going well past Stamford. Personal views are supposed to be separate from business. if you can t do that at least clear the roads and let people get on with their day.

My wife was in the middle of the road and with my son in the car broken down. It was getting dark I called Stiloskis and the owner John said to relax and he would send a tow out. He not only towed the car but made sure to get my family home. The next day he called and explained the problem and had it repaired and saved me a lot of headache. A++

Worst employees. Do not let them tow your vehicle. They took off with the car from an accident and did not deliver to the place that was instructed. Instead they took it to their shop further away. They would not bring it back to where we requested and so I had another tow company bring the car back. They are ready to lie about everything.

Irvington police used Stiloski's to tow my car away from an accident and Stiloski's brought it to their yard. After the insurance adjuster looked at it I decided to have the dealer do the repair instead. While I was requesting Stiloski's to move it to the dealer's shop they discovered it was mixed up with another car and they had already towed it to some body shop in Thornwood! So they brought it back to their yard that evening with assurance it would go to the dealer the next morning. I called in the morning to confirm and they said 'definitely it will be there by noon'. A couple days later I learned the car was still sitting at Stiloski's! In the end it had been nearly 2 weeks since the accident before the car made it to the body shop and these jokers just laughed and make excuses. No accountability, no responsibility, no longer getting my business!

The fat slob who so called waited on me, was not only rude but had zero customer service skills. I rank this place somewhere between a 3rd graders lemonade stand and the food that was stuck on fatmans shirt!! I wouldnt let my cat come here!! If those people treat their customers like that, im quite positive that their automotive work is a direct reflection!! I would imagine that the pigman was an owner only because who in their right mind would hire someone that presented themselves like that. It was an awful experience. The lardass would not even get up to open the gate to let me get my daughters medicine from the car!!! Little does he know that my brother is an attorney who handles better business bureau cases in ny!!!!!!!! I love it!!This guy deserves to get sued!! And he is!! Please never go here!!!!!!!!!Jon c.

I was involved in a car accident and Stiloskis was called tow tow it. The owner John was so understanding and helpful throughout the insurance process. Thank you for all the help. Will only call them from now on

Just bought a heavy wrecker traveling from Boston to Beckley West Virginia and I blew an air hose. stopped in Tarrytown and was referred to stiloskis by the local police. They responded quickly and got our truck repaired immediately. Great service and great representation of New York. Thanks again!!
