Best auto shop. I've gone elsewhere when Jimmy was busy, and I've mostly been disappointed with the service and quality of work. Most honest and knowledgeable car mechanic around.

Called and asked how much to install pads and rotors. Guy asked me how much are sneakers which I thought was irrelevant. Guy told me to go to mavis cause they have a set price. Told the guy I had the pads and rotors was told to go get a friend to do them and That this was a business.

Had a great experience today with Jimmy. He was able to service my car same day (I thought I would just be able to get a quote), and he also had extra treats around for my pup. Honest guy that does honest work. We ve found our new local mechanic.

The owner here is one fantastic human being. I was having a car emergency and the entire time he was a great help. I m glad he was right down the road because he was a truly kind person. Thank you for all the help and I highly recommend this establishment.

We lived in Tarrytown for several years and my in-laws are still in town. My father in law has been going to Jimmy for 25+ years and our whole family is convinced that Jimmy is his favorite person in the world. He genuinely gets excited to go get car maintenance at Cornerstone.He's told several of his musician friends about Cornerstone over the years and I know one of the guys still drives up an hour from the Upper West Side to get his car serviced with Jimmy. Hopefully he never retires so my father in law continues to have a reason to live :)Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

John and Jimmy have a lot of integrity, they have always taken care of me and my family. They don't up-sell, they run a tight ship, and have no time for nonsense.John has a lot of experience with Nissans, and has been helping me maintain my 2009 Maxima.I highly recommend this garage, best to work out a schedule in advance because their time is in high demand.

Highly recommend. My wife and I had to make an emergency stop in Tarrytown as we were on a trip from Long Island to the Catskills and several indicator lights lit up the dash of the car. We did a Google search of the area and called several other shops who refused to help as it was 2 pm on a Friday before Memorial Day weekend. The guy at Cornerstone helped me immediately upon my arrival, did a quick diagnostic test, and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend this mechanic.

Excellent local mechanic. Incredibly knowledgable and truly passionate about cars. Will explain the most intricate details about your repair. Will tell you things about your car that even you didn't know. He is beyond accommodating, and the personalized customer service is a factor that is scarce among the competition. You can rest easily knowing that your car is in the best hands at Cornerstone.

I Live out of state and needed assistance with a unique job in Austin Texas. I found Nicholas with Cornerstone auto after a half a dozen calls to mobile mechanics.
