Brought my Mitsubishi in for oil change, brakes, wipers, low beam headlight, bulb. Virginia was very friendly and extremely efficient. The overall cost for everything was worth the time I waited for the work done. I will be back for an inspection and highly recommend Mavis at Southbay and Taft Road.

The manager, Pat was such a great help as I have never bought tires before. He was professional as well kind and very informative. I was so impressed, I made an appointment to have my brakes replaced.I would refer my family and friends to Mavis in North Syracuse.

I highly recommend this location. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I m loving the atmosphere very welcoming. I didn't have an appointment, but the work was finished when they said it would be plus they checked everything else over to give me a status report on the overall condition of the car. Nicely done! I ll most definitely be coming back!

Have been going there for several years now. Just had brakes done. Last time I had brakes estimated by competitor and they were much higher. Quality work, delivered as promised. Have bought tires there as well.

This Mavis is always prompt, friendly and fair. I came for an oil change today and was out quickly. I have come before for other issues with my vehicle and get great service every time. I m thankful I can go somewhere I trust for theses types of vehicle needs. Thank you Mavis!!

I got a flat tire well into my pregnancy. Lucky I was close enough to a shop. I pulled into their parking lot as they were closing thinking for sure I d have to put the dummy on myself. Not only did they put the new tire I happened to have in my trunk on the rim, they did it quick and at no charge. I could not be more thankful for those guys in my time of need. It was my first experience with them. I will 100% go back.

Stopped in without an appointment to get a screw removed from my tire and they took care of me within 15 minutes. Pretty inexpensive too! I go back for sure. Thanks!

The staff was so friendly and helpful to replace my battery. My Ford Fusion needed a battery that is difficult to find and the staff located one and got me back on the road. I appreciated the service and would highly recommend coming here.

Great experience.They got me in the same day, treated me fairly, used my parts after I purchased them for someone else to do my brakes only to be ghosted by that person and being left with very little brake integrity. They were true to their price quote and reminded me that with my own parts, they could not guarantee (I fully understood this).They were able to complete the job in 1/3 the time, giving me my day back. I highly recommend!

Had a tire completely fail on the highway, coming apart at the seams. Manager refused to honor manufacturer warranty and said that I should have "Bought better tires". Terrible attitude from staff, zero customer service at this location. Will be taking my business to one of the many other reputable vendors in this area from now on.

I always go in and speak with Pat or Billy! Both are very Knowledgeable! I take our Company vehicles to Mavis, because they are professional, quick and don't overcharge. Today I brought my personal vehicle in, nothing major... So I dropped it off. Task was completed quickly and no extra work was needed. It is a pleasure to do business with the Mavis Crew in North Syracuse, NY..Thank you MAVIS!

Came out of hotel to find a flat. Contacted Mavis in Liverpool and was honest to tell us would be a while but call Mavis on Taft. Called Mavis on Taft and spoke with John. He said come on down and we will get you in and out. We got there, had our tire repaired, and back on the road all within the hour heading home. Great place and honest. Recommend them for your service requirements

We will not go back to Mavis. The first time we stopped there was a slow leak to one of our tires, they fixed it with no charge. An oil change was due on our car so we decided to go back there, the mechanic was great [we didn't see him this time]. We sat there an hour before our car was pulled in [another customer was there for a little over 3 hours for a brake job]. The service manager is very rude. I told him our plate number, when the mechanic told him the plate number was incorrect on the work order, I heard the service mgr say "Some people don't even know their plate no." I went out to the car and told him what the number was. He entered the no. wrong. He should not be in that line of business if he can't be a little nicer to customers. I will go to the place I wanted to in the first place but my husband wanted to go here because they were pretty decent the first time and very close to home, never again.

I was very apprehensive about receiving service at this Mavis location due to a very poor experience at the Camillus location wherein I received incorrect information about a part that my car needed and subsequently paid much, much more than I was planning. However, I have had nothing but good experiences here, which the first time included getting a repair done for free because it was minor, quick, and easy. Pat, the manager, has always been incredibly kind when I've gone to get my car serviced, and overall this is a quality location for service and support.

Just had an exceptional experience with this shop!Flew into SYR this afternoon and one exit into our hour plus drive home we had what we thought at the time was a brake caliper locked up. Jeep was barely drivable. This shop was a mile away from where we stopped so it was the obvious choice.Pat and Cody were fantastic! They recognized the problem as a rusted bracket on the brake line, adjusted it, and didn t even charge us. We were driving away less than 30 minutes from when we pulled in.We were over a barrel with no tools and two young kiddos in tow. We got extraordinarily lucky to have this happen a mile away from a genuinely honest shop run by extremely friendly people.Thank you Pat and Cody!! Y all saved the day and your kindness is truly appreciated!
