Way over priced, $885.00 for a double bed for 3 nights. Arrived early and was told 30.00 per room for pre check in. We said nope and spent the money having drinks.No one checked in about needing towels etc. No one came to clean. Bed was horrible.Tub was nice.Owner was nice.Bartenders not accommodating. Would go to get u a drink and get talking and just forget about u n not care.Brisket n corn bread was great. Bloody marry was on point.Good location.Food & drinks: Brisket was awesomeService was not

Was a quiet Sunday evening dinner. First time we've been there. Was a very nice dinner. I had ribs. They were very good. My wife had chicken soup and it was delicious. It was very slow and our server was attentive and friendly. The place is cozy on a chilly rainy night. We will return!Parking: Parking was close to the building. Lots of spots. Handicapped accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: 100% wheelchair accessible

Went today for Mother's day brunch .Didn't stay at hotel. Food,service, atmosphere just everything was FABULOUS. Owner greeted us went over and beyond to make us feel important and valued for being there!!!!! Highly recommend, and definitely will return often Great job guysNearby activities: The beach is close shops amusement park .Lots to see and do.

We went to the restaurant and the sign said food service stopped at 9. It was 8:45 and they said kitchen was closed. The bed in room 6 was unlevel and slanted to the side. The location was great though. Right in the middle and walking distance to the beach, restaurants etc No wash clothes in room just hand towels.Not sure if we would go back and possibly try a different room.Music was played loud before 9 am.Nearby activities: Surrounded by all the restaurants and bars and the beach. Great location.Walkability: Excellent location for walking around.

Went here expecting a large BBQ choice. Menu small. Had pulled pork sandwiches. They were the most dry tasteless pork sandwiches ever. The FF were good. The coleslaw was hot and peppery with too much dressing, horrible. The waitress was nice but not knowledgeable of the few beers they hv on tap. One table left without eating thier food because they said it was cold. Our sandwiches were barely warm. Its really ugly inside too. I was expecting they had remodeled in an interesting way. No. They did hv a mermaid skeleton hanging from ceiling, clever.

Wonderful food! I ordered the garbage plate and it was magnificent. My lunch date ordered the fish dinner special and he was very satisfied. The young man, I think his name Brad? Either way he was very accommodating and smiled the entire time. He was a delight. I am a former waitress and it was so nice to see a young man waiting tables. He was great.

The most disgusting place I ve ever stayed for an absolutely outrageous price. Mold on the ceiling in multiple areas, hair in the bathtub, the sink didn t drain, the bathroom smelled horrific, food all over the floor when we first arrived. The room had obviously not been cleaned prior to our stay. It smelled musty with large areas of black mold in the bedroom and entryway. Management did not seem to care either.

Not a place we will ever return to. Waited 25 minutes for two "dead ends" sandwiches should have been beef ends but came with dried out pork, my sandwich was missing two of the items they offered with it, rotten salt potatoes, cold french fries, sat us on a 95 degree day in an area with no ac. The couple next to us left 75% of their meal because they couldn't take the heat & said their meal was horrible. Bus person literally asked us if the people across from us had left or were coming back most of their dinner was still there. We said they left & you can take our meal too, its disgusting, we paid & left. For a brand new place they need to do something or they will have nothing.

Great food! Excellent wait staff! Thank you for accommodating myself and my party of 8 last minute. The owner was very accommodating and had no problems having a great conversation with us. Thanks everyone. We will be back.Not enough to warrant a 4 or lower stars but booth seats are small. If you got extra in the mid section ask for a booth with a chair or a table with all chairs. Just a 411.

The restaurant was absolutely disgusting. We ordered an appetizer of chicken wings and the waitress never came back to take out order. Had to get her after 20 min. We ordered our food and I got a salad which come out before your meal, our chicken wings came out but no salad. Waited another 45 min and waitress comes over and says she forgot to put our order in did we still want it, by this time it's getting late so we said yes. Food came out and it tastes like it was 3 days old and warned up. Will NEVER go here again.

Brisket was over peppered and dry. Pulled pork nachos were really good, for those that could eat them. They came out with tomatoes which I'm allergic to. We were told that every cook does them differently so she didn't know they'd have tomatoes in it. Ribs weren't bad. Food was very over priced for the quality.

Want there when they opened (should not of opened ) ordered a Beat salad that was 6 cut up beats on a plate no lettuce nothing just the cut up bests the waitress was embarrassed to serve it order 10 wings and a taco salad 3 drinks $80 . Left said ok they just opened will try them later after they been open for some time and get there stuff together. Everything on there made up menu was out . So I try them again yep samething out of this out of that ok give me the BBQ burger and fries. Yep $20.00 for that . I eat half the burger half the fries not a barbecue burger just a regular cheeseburger and 10 minutes after eating got sick . If you like to drink that s the place to go I guess. Other then that I would not recommend this place . The restaurant that was there before had such good food and A reasonable price and very family oriented this place not even close .

Its was Ok at first, but then we found out they didn't allow pets, even though it said so in the final receipt, and website. It also didn't have working WiFi like it advertised. We tried to troubleshoot it but the lady seemed to not want deal with my problem, trying to say "nobody else said anything about it" The hot water ended up not working in the morning, and I was told to "wait a few minutes" I appreciate her at least trying to help, but she isn't really addressing our problems. Eventually we decided to leave and we were refunded our remaining day. I just think this place has such potential to actually be worth $99 a night. I hope management improves.

Owner was very helpful. Was a situation with booking through a third party (FYI) don t ever book 3rd party!!! I was not able to stay at this one like I would have liked too because of third party mistakes, but instead he accommodated me with a beautiful room next to the water for the inconvenience and didn t even charge an upgrade fee Happy Birthday

Friendly staff, food was ok, cornbread was dry and not too flavorful. Place looked kinda dirty and menu was really small and expensive for what are mostly simple meals. We at least got real silverware. I have no need to come again.

We did not stay at the hotel. The ice cream parlor next door was 5/5 stars, the girls running it were very nice and gave excellent recommendations. The boneyard bbq restaurant however was just below average. The friday fish fry was meh and the seasoning was too much. The bbq 1/2 chicken had a nice rub on it. The coleslaw was inedible it was like eating straight cabbage. The fries was overseasoned and salty. Mac n cheese was cold and congealed the first time and i sent back and got a hot fresh one. The cornbread was fantastic but not enough of a piece. The waitress was very nice and attentive and deserves a raise! Overall a sub par meal with some highlights but more negatives than positives. Not going to be returning to the bbq joint.

The food was good, however, when a problem was brought up to the waitress she instantly went on the defensive, followed by a member of the kitchen staff instantly going on the defensive. It was not a big problem and a simple sorry would have been an appropriate resolution. The staffing certainly does not know the appropriate way to deal with customers.

We stayed here for 1 night when we were visiting Sylvan beach for the day, there was one suite left and they were very fast and accommodating! It was clean and close to many places to eat, walking distance! I felt safe having my 2 small children even during covid times. We cant wait to come back!!

Not much for complaining, but my wife and I were in town Sunday and decided to enjoy some ice cream after having a wonderful dinner at Captain John's. Stopped at Carbone's Beachside Ice Cream at roughly 5:30 pm where my wife ordered a small ice cream in a bowl and I ordered a medium. We were the only customers there at the time of ordering. My simple medium ice cream came out 5 minutes after my wife's and my "medium" portion was exactly the same as my wife's small portion. Both ice creams had a freezer burn taste and pieces of clear ice were scattered throughout our ice cream. Not to mention the young girl had absolutely no personality, not even a thank you. Never again!

If given the choice I would pass on this place. Food was okay, ribs were over cooked but still okay. High priced and not great service. At least the beer was cold.

I ended up in the hospital and had to cancel our stay. They were absolutely unwilling to refund or even let us change the dates. Think twice before booking here. I used Expedia who tried to help however carbones wanted no part of it. Not all of us are in perfect health, I wear oxygen 24 hours a day however I am penalized for this by them. Not accommodating or caring at all.

Nice location and nice clean rm.Coffee maker didn't work right. Paid extra for whirlpool tub. It was small and hot water was nonexistent. Heat stayed on all night with thermostat on 50.

Super relaxing night away with my boyfriend. Beds were super comfy and literally the most comfy pillows we have ever slept on! Super friendly staff and abided by covid regulations by not reentering the room until we were done with the stay. Will definitely stay again at the beachside suites. Super clean!

The barbecue was good. Some food was a little on the greasy side. Tasted good. Long wait for lunch as they were short help.

do not stay in room six should not even rent it out, the bathroom is so small you can't even use it the toilet sits really low to the floor and your shoved in a corner no chairs because there closet size room is just big enough for the bed.what a joke. use to stay here everytime we came up, never again. becareful when Booking.email
