Great experience here. Workers were pleasant and helpful. They helped my Dad loosen an over-tightened oil drain plug on his snowblower that just didn't seem like it would budge. He was so happy with the service, that Brady's will be his first stop when he shops for a new leaf blower.

One of my favorite stores to go to. The staff are all super knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. They service our equipment we use on the farm and even though our equipment is used hard they always get it working again. Only downside (which is dependent on your own self control) is they have loads of really high quality forestry tools and supplies as well, so everytime I go in that store for work equipment I always end up breaking out my personal card to get more supplies for myself. All an all an amazing place for new equipment, parts, service, and supplies.

Don't go or buy anything from Brady's power equipment in Stormville New YorkI go there to purchase a part I bring the old one with me to match it up she tells me I need a part number I tell her I don't have a part number I said here's the old part go to the parts shelf in the back where you have the new parts and match it up she comes out and said I need a part number we don't have that I walk out the door and I see the same exact part on an engine that they sell by the front window they make no sense now I know why Amazon is in business mom and pop places go under because of their attitude problem don't waste your time and money going to this dump

Purchased a new Cub Cadet XT2 LX 46 from here. They are the only ones out of all the Cub Cadet dealers within a 60 mile radius that are stocked up with various models!!! Very nice family runned business. I dealt with Stephanie over the phone. She was very knowledgeable, straight forward, and pleasant to deal with. They had everything ready for me upon arrival. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. One thing to note, they do get extremely busy. So be prepared upon your visit.

Great for parts. They have a pretty good selection on premises. Love the bird . If you've frequented the store you know what I'm talking about . Repairs can be a bit pricey. Avoid the lady in the front if you're there with parts/repairs questions. But overall they do a good job.

I stopped in with a tire valve that was bad. The gentleman at the counter took the tire and said it will be ready in 5 minutes. I was astonished I figured I would come back in a couple of days. It was repaired and I was on my way. This is not what I'm use to the service and repair were excellent. I looked around in there showroom and there prices are very competitive for Stihl products. I would highly recommend this shop I know I'll be back. Thanks again.

I drove over an hour to visit BPE as it is the closest Cub Cadet retailer near me (Home Depot advertises, but never stocks/sells). It was worth the trip. Everyone is super courteous and attentive. They offer to assemble (if necessary) and do initial testing to make sure everything is good. They also take care of submitting warranty information which is awesome, too. Checkout was quick and all I had to do was back my car up to be loaded. It's a bit of a drive, but if I need another mower one day I'll make it.

Bedside manor of Tom is hit or miss. Rest of staff is nice and friendly. I'm not here to chat, so I don't get to worked up about Tom. Quality of service is excellent and very knowledgeable about saws. Always communicative when stuff gets the fixed. Prices are fair, they stand behind work. Honest and straightforward, they've earned my business.

Excellent! First time I ever used them. I called them, described the symptoms (running rough, black smoke, burning oil) with my seven year old Craftsman 21hp 42" tractor, and they said they would pick it up the next day. They did, got a call the next day with a repair estimate (I was pleasantly surprised) and they dropped it off the following day. It runs like new. The rep explained the repair in detail. I am very pleased. They have a new customer for life.

Had my tractor picked up, was experiencing a problem losing oil and also when the tractor was hot, it would want to stall. Explained all this in a lengthy note and to someone on the phone. Unfortunately this was not enough info for them to fix the issue, from what I was told on the phone. They replaced the head gasket and a gas cap and tested and gave back to me with the same problem. After calling them, it was explained to me that they normally do not run tractors to the amount of time needed to mimic the issue.? They usually run for 5-10 minutes. Now what s gonna happen is someone is going to post a response from the business that I never told them that it takes 30-40min of cutting time to get the issue. The problem is I paid 370.00 to fix this issue and you let it leave your shop with the same problem, when you were overally confident on the phone it was the head gasket. Then response from the business will be , the tractor had two isssues. Well maybe, but the tractor can have 1000 issues, I paid a professional to fix the issue though, I didn t pay for a arrogant explanation that I , the customer, didn t say to you , the business , you have to run the tractor for about 30 -40min to have the issue. Which I did explain that it has to be hot and it happens after cutting a while. Your the professional, as a customer I can only provide a detailed note and telephone interview, what you do after that doesn t fall on my shoulders, the customers, it s on the business to listen to the information the customer gives you.Live and learn, being a business owner myself I would never leave a customer that paid and still have the issue. I can say this though, they did say they would pick up for free and look at it again, nothing though about refunding the 370.00 I just dropped for them to not fix it, also my headlight wiring is missing and when the tractor was delivered it was covered in a item four /salt residue? I really lost out here, don t be me.I ll fix myself now.

I have been going here since I was a little kid but I m going to stop. I m very well on my way to becoming an arborist and have been doing tree work for 7 years. Mr Brady s prices of his Climbing and arbor gear is shady because it s marked up at least 15% On a lot of items. I get it , convenience. Recently I was there and I confronted Tom about a big shot replacement kit he has marked at 100 dollars. It s a 30 dollar item. That s a 200% mark up. Maybe he made a mistake in pricing but he was Very little help on the matter and He owns the store. In fact he wasted my time. Other items too, he charged me 185 for a 60 dollar buck strap. I didn t like their attitudes upon my return. As far as small engine services I will never go back. You have to scream to them to only touch and fix what you want. My 032av saw was my grandfathers (One of the few things I have left from him) and my spark plug boot ripped off. I asked them to only fix that, specificly!!!!, and replace fuel and air filter. I m very angry about it because they played with the carb adjustment and messed it Up when I again specifically told them not to touch it and they upcharged my bill. The saw is dangerous now Out of adjustment and if I run it, it could blow. They did terrible adjusting it. Used to start and run much better but that s not the point. Now I m Fixing it myself with an Odm carb. With my fathers zero turn mower I once brought in for a simple oil change and again specificly asked for only that because I knew what they like to do . They messed with the hydros to recommend we replace the fluid, a 3 or 4 hundred dollar job. Of course we said no but now the machine has sticky hydro controls. It sucks to operate now when you want to cut a straight line. I told my dad to stop bringing his fleet of mowers there but it s his decision. Since I have been doing business with them so long mistakes will be made but regardless they are good at what they do just ethically I don t agree with it. I won t be going there anymore even though I drive by them everyday . I hope this was helpful for my neighbors, brothers and sisters of the industry who are possibly less knowledgeable, considering using BPE, or just passer buy. Take care and god bless America.

Brought my 15+ year lawn mower to Brady's be fixed since it would no longer start. They were professional in receiving the lawn mower, helping me understand what needed to be fixed once they inspected it, and in picking up the lawn mower. Although it took a couple of weeks for a part to arrive, my lawn mower now works again and it looks almost brand new. I am so glad I discovered this place and highly recommend it if your lawn mower needs to be revived.

My father and I had an issue with his Stihl string trimmed recently. We have used bradys in the past for just about everything from 2 cycle mix, string etc, my father even bought new equipment from him. We went in there to buy a replacement part, Tom couldn't have been any more useless with helping us. After reading others reviews about Tom and experiencing it ourselves, I say avoid this place if you expect any sort of customer service. I won't be going there, either will any friends or family that I share my experience with. Adams Power Equipment will get all my new purchases and repairs.

Very friendly family run business, Very knowledgable and things are usually fixed right the first time. Pricing is reasonable as well. They are usually very busy,so don't wait to bring your equipment in. They were 10 days backed up in the end of May when I brought my equipment in.

Brady s is an official Stihl service shop for my area. I have brought my Stihl MS 880 (Stihl s largest available chain saw) to Brady s to be fixed. The saw cut out twice on me mid cut. The first time I could restart it after a cool down period. The second time the saw would not start up anymore. I tested the plug for a spark and could not detect a spark. Mind you the saw ran perfectly each time and cut out mid cut each time. Thinking about it after the fact, a typical case of an ignition coil fail. I brought the saw in and reported my findings and thoughts. But unfortunately you don t know what Brady records on the intake report. They don t give you a copy or for that matter any record or receipt for what you just dropped off, no records, noting. Three weeks after I dropped it off I haven t heard anything. When I called in for a status update, I was told that they had to order a piece of testing equipment and that it was on back order because presumably the MS 880 is not a common saw. Again weeks later I was told tat the saw needs a new piston and cylinder, a $750 proposition. Remember ist s a rare saw and oh right the pieces are on back order. A little later when I called for a status update, I was told that the parts are in but that Steve decided it would be prudent to replace the pin (?) too. Again the piece is on back order ( remember it s a rare saw) not clear when it would come in. The next time when I called in for a status update ( funny how I always had to call rather than they informing me) I was told that all pieces now have been replaced and they just, that day took the saw out back (?) to test and the ignition coil crapped out. (their words)assuring me that this can happen and is not uncommon. The coil is on back order because it s a rare saw!!! When I called a week later they said it was ordered and should be In early next week. At the end if that week I was told they are still trying to locate the piece in the US. Remember it is a rare saw. (NO it is not it is an off the shelf Stiehl saw and Stiehl is a very reputable company. ) End of the next week they located it and wanted to give me the Fed Ex tracking number so I could verify on my own that the part is really on route. And that is when I lost it! We are now three (3) months into this ordeal and still no saw. When I originally brought the saw in to be repaired, everything to me indicated an ignition coil problem. I am no expert but I do have close to sixty years experience with two stroke engines , and the way the saw cut out did not sound like a piston problem to me. Never the less they opted for a $750 piston and cylinder replacement, only then to find out two moths later that the coil is no good. When I asked today for them to stop all activities and return the saw back to me with the old piston and cylinder I was told by Steve that they didn t have the old parts anymore and that they could return the saw, but without a piston and cylinder. So three months after this Odysee started I would be left with a saw of parts and without a piston and cylinder and to make things even worse, if that s possible I was told by Steve that I would have to return later to pick up the parts because he doesn t have time to return it to me now. Worst chain saw experience ever, and really sad because Stiehl is a reputable brand. Needless to say, after this horrible experience today I went out to buy a comparable new Husqvarna 3120 saw for only a little more then this crazy odysee would have cost me, but more importantly from a Husqvarna place whose service I can trust unlike Brady s crazy and sorry excuse for an..........It s not the product so much it s the service that counts and Brady s service in this case was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I am switching back to Husqvarna so I never have to go back there except to go pick up my saw now in pieces.I gave it one star only because no star is not a option

Won't be purchasing from them again, I went with bradys for the "dealer support" but I haven't been impressed, they might have their priorities set with other companies, and were dishonest about pricing over the phone, with what seemed like a bait and switch, going to be going with other reputable dealers in the area. They lost a potential life long customerEdit- I was given a price on 3rd party blades (predator) by Carol(I believe she is your mother), but I had spoken with another dealer for Oregon blades and the Predators were quoted to me as 30% cheaper in price over the phone. I decided to go with you guys for that sole reason alone, when I mentioned the discrepancy to you in front of her, rather then her apologizing to me right then and there which is something I would have accepted and moved on, she said nothing. Also I wasnt told or made aware of the price difference until after my card was swiped, I would have gone with the Gators had I known the price difference was going to be less then 10$. When I purchased my mower from you in cash I shook your hand because I said to you the only thing that matters to me is dealer support I could have gone to Connecticut for the deals but decided to be local, I will be looking elsewhere. Unfortunately confidence in my dealer is paramount to me over the equipment I choose.

Friendly, knowledge staff. Their prices are fair, and they do quality repair work. Yes it gets busy as the mowing season arrives, but that's just the way it is everywhere.

Just picked up my mower Saturday morning from Brady's and not even 20 mins after using it it's dead in my yard with a electrical problem that it did not have before it went in! They are telling us it's not their problem! (Come to find out it was their fault) on top of the fact that they wanted to charge me $3500 for a new engine and we found the same one online new for $1000! A friend of mine told stories of 2 other people that have had serious problems with them also and to top it all off while we were picking the mower up there was a man in there complaining bc they had charged him 3 different times 3 different prices for the same job! Mean while his mower was home broken for the 4th time with the same problem! Idk how these people stay in business they are the most unprofessional business I have ever seen! I highly recommend usininh someone else!

Stole my father's chainsaw and then claimed to have never taken it in for service at all. Claimed the ticket he brought in wasn't their's. After years of being a faithful customer, we will not be returning. RUN FROM THESE THIEVES!

Waited three weeks for tractor to be fixed. This included a tune up, a choke cable and sharpened blades. Waited until the last part came in (the choke cable) to pull the blades (which they told me were no good and should be replaced the same week i had dropped it) to find out that the mandril shafts on the deck were no good and ALSO needed to be replaced (it was one at first, then it was three. bill went from $300 to $600). Three weeks of waiting, losing productivity on accounts to be mowed, had to call for updates since phone call were not returned. Finally got tractor back. Choke cable broke first week. Mandril shafts had no zerk fitting installed, lost grease and broke down second week. re-did job myself. Not impressed. Learned a lot about tractor parts though.
