Many moons ago, I owned a mobile detailing business in Long Island. I am very much involved in the automotive community and I am fortunate to be able to have my hands on some of the finest vehicles in existence. I preface this because I would like all to know that this review is not based off of an amateur auto enthusiast. So, here is what i have to say about Malibu Detailing. Lets start with the owner John...I have always found it to be that the most successful businesses are generally run by those who are passionate about their work. Well, John is quite the enthusiast. And his work speaks loudly. He is honest to a fault, and always does the right thing. He works till the job is done. And when I say done, I do not mean done as in clean. I mean done as in done RIGHT to HIS standard... and that bar is high! He cares equally about the outcome of his work as he does making a living. There is no better place than Malibu. At best....comparable or below....and nothing of this calibre within a 50-100 mile radius. Thanks you John and the whole crew that make this possible. No job too big or small. Let me add...your vehicle treatment is the same whether you bring in a 25 year old Honda, or a brand new $150k car. I say this from personal experience.

Where can i even begin, the absolute pristine work from Malibu and His Workforce is just outstanding. I had a Ceramic Pro Bronze package done on my 2017 Mustang GT and was absolutely amazed with how the car came out would not trust anybody else with my vehicles.

Hands down the best detailing spot in NY. John and the guys always making sure I leave the shop with a smile on my face like a kid with candy ! From the interior and exterior detailing , to the window tint , to the PPF, drop your keys and car off , and I promise you will return the happiest person and never leave these guys ! First some background:I am a senior and not what you would call a car guy . I recently purchased my most expensive car, a $60,000+ Tesla (that I love). Reading other s experiences, I was aware that one weakness of the Tesla was the quality of the paint job. I saw people talking about paint protective film (PPF) and ceramic coating, but I had no idea what they were.I did a search for auto detailing services in my area and there are a number of options. Looking at the web pages and some reviews I decided to contact Malibu Auto Detailing.First positive, John was very responsive. He called me and explained all about PPF and ceramic coating. I then brought my car to his shop so he could examine it and show me the materials and process used in PPF and ceramic coating. It was a very informative, comfortable and friendly experience. They also had experience working on Tesla s (and other very high-end cars) which I took as a positive. I chose to have them apply a ceramic coating to my Tesla (a multi-step, multi-day process).When my wife drove me to his shop in her Volvo to pick up my Tesla he and his team explained what they did to apply the ceramic coating and also details of my car s factory paint condition. They corrected some paint and interior issues during their detailing phase. They told me how to maintain the car including product recommendations. Needless to say, the car looked phenomenal. In fact, my wife immediately made arrangements to have a ceramic coating applied to her Volvo! It also now looks great.As important as the quality of their work; I very much appreciated their responsiveness to my queries. If I had a question, a simple text was all that was needed to get a timely response, every time! To me, that type of customer service responsiveness is very important in any service business.Would I recommend Malibu Auto Detailing? Hands down to the best place to get your windows tinted.. John, Chris and their crew took care of both of my cars !! When i called to inquire about the service, they took the time to explain the details and was very patient with all my questions..!! Malibu Detailing is fantastic, I wouldn t recommend anyone else. I got my windows tinted over a year ago and they still look brand new. I own a 13 year old 2009 Honda CRV. I never care about the exterior, but during Covid I really wanted to get my car interior cleaned. Especially with Covid going on I wanted to feel clean getting in and out of my car. Someone had recommended Malibu Detailing to me.John was great! He met me to give me a quote after looking at my messy car. Quote I felt was fair for a deep deep interior clean. I dropped my car off and John and his team had it done same day! I now get my interior cleaned once a year by Malibu Detailing! They always do a great job and John is a great owner with a great team! My car looks brand new and feels clean every time! These guys deserve more than 5 stars. Great set of workers got in touch with the owner for a reschedule due to personal problems. Couple weeks later came in they took care of me really well. How do you take a surprise gift (2004 Volvo S60) and turn it into something your 17 year old is proud to drive around in? See Malibu Detailing!Their work was perfection, timely and they answered all the questions this first time customer could throw at them.The car turned out showroom perfect. I brought my 2013 Dodge Challenger RT in for new vinyl graphic decals, ceramic coating, paint correction, window tint and full detail.John does outstanding, meticulous work. I was beyond impressed by the magnificent job. It looks like a brand new car! Absolutely beautiful results. He is an excellent business man going above and beyond to satisfy the customer. He is very professional and is extremely knowledgeable of his trade and his attention to detail is phenomenal.Excellent communication, he stayed in contact with me continuously, providing updates on the status of how the job was coming along. He also took the time to explain everything in full detail with me that was going to be performed on my car which I appreciated very much. When I went to pickup I was overwhelmed with happiness on how beautiful everything came out as it was during a very stressful time for everyone.I HIGHLY recommended to try these guys out if you want quality, outstanding & professional service. My two year old SUV with over 55k miles went to Malibu Detailing. The vehicle was never washed. When I got home, had the vehicle not had body damage from a hit and run in the past, I would have thought someone put a new vehicle in my driveway. It looked like it came off the showroom floor!Take your new vehicle in for protection.Take your vehicle in to be pampered.He is the best!

Quality work only here! Went to Mailbu Detailing to tint my car and they exceeded my expectations man. John and Khristian are real cool genuine people who treat there customers great. Car came out looking even more beautiful. There shop is also really nice and clean. Malibu detailing just gained another loyal customer. John and his guys did an absolute fantastic job of tinting my windows on both of my vehicles. I m very particular on who I let touch my cars, but I now know the guys at Malibu can be trusted. They do excellent work with fine finishes and they make sure the customer is satisfied! Anything with detailing or window tinting, John down at Malibu Detailing is the guy to see! Thanks again!!

Awesome job!!! I gave in my Dodge Charger for a full interior and exterior detail, paint correction and a polish, and couldn t be happier with the result!! I love how it turned out!John was really knowledgeable, and made me feel really at ease, I love my car and barely trust myself with it, let alone anyone else, but I was really comfortable giving him my car for the job, and it came out spectacular!Thank you John! You will definitely have a return customer from me!

After a trip to the beach I needed my car cleaned. John and his staff went above and beyond and gave me the works making my car look better than new! I dropped it off at 9am and picked up on time at 2pm like I was promised. They were professional and courteous.I also had my husbands new car tinted last week. One word FLAWLESS!About a year ago they also had done another detail on my husbands work car he had then. I didn t think his car could look anything close to being new as he works in it and it was beyond a mess but the Malibu guys shocked me and cleaned it perfectly.I would not go anywhere except Malibu Detailing for any of my details, washes and tints. John did an incredible job on my Jeep Grand Cherokee today! I was beyond impressed. The Jeep looks better than it did when I took it home from the dealership. He took his timeAnd made sure to address all my concerns, and then some. He was exceptionally respectful when it came to my driveway, as he made sure not to damage it with any products. It looks like I have a brand new Jeep! He s such a nice guy and I would recommend his service over and over again!!
