I have no idea what mechanics these other people are going to, we must be having the complete opposite experience. I've gone a few times, once to repair my brakes once for a weird noise my car was making. The guy on the phone told me the problem with my brakes was just a leak in the brake loop, and they just had to fix a gasket. Makes sense, that's what it felt like. I told him to go ahead and repair it, and he says it'll be 500 dollars. A little pricey but whatever. I come the next day, I see the bill it's 760 dollars, no idea where the extra 240 came from, whatever, but then I get in my car and there's grease all over the passengers seat. Why would they even be on the passengers seat??? Ended up paying 760 dollars to replace "this little easy gasket" and then had to clean the interior of my car myself to get all the grease off. I guess they did fix it, but not good customer service and they make a mess.

A good steady repair shop. I trust them and have had zero issues after about 3 years of visits for routine maintenance and inspection. I feel lucky as they are my closest repair shop to my house.

As an international student from SBU, I don t know whether my tire in the picture is leaking. So I ask the workers in this place to help me. One guy helps me bump up my 4 tires and checks whether this tire is leaking in 5 minutes, then charges me 15 dollars.

Great, professional service. Not only did they tell me what was going on with my car, they actually fixed a minor issue I had, without being asked. The pricing was entirely fair as well. I will be going here again!UPDATE: I CANNOT say enough good things about this business. they are incredibly professional and not only did they tell me what the problem was, they also told me about some OTHER problems with my car that I would want to look into in the coming months. props especially to John. I've always had a great experience at Munch. They are honest, timely, and PROACTIVE and I appreciate meticulous notes on the work done on my vehicle. My brakes lasted for YEARS and my car shows no signs of slowing down after 160,000 miles. If you want cheap, look in the Pennysaver or Yankee Trader - if you want GREAT, go to this shop where they know what they are talking about and treat you with trust and respect.

Ever since a friend of mine recommended that I start taking my car here, I haven't gone anywhere else. Great repair shop. They're very professional and knowledgeable and do a great job. My car is 13 years old and still runs like new since I use this shop to maintain it. Highly recommended.

Had apparent issues with acceleration and a check engine light, which during inspection turned out to be an issue with the fuel pump causing leakage elsewhere. After having that fixed, along with some tire swap/rotation, I had issues pop up again with a check engine light, poor acceleration, and rattling of my steering wheel. They correctly identified the other problems (leak in fuel line, tire imbalance) and fixed them within the same day. Now my car runs noticeably smoother and without issue while also getting better MPG as there is no more fuel leakage. They were professional, worked quickly, and did not try to upsell me unnecessary services.

Great service, excellent communication. The folks at Munch keep my car running like new after 11 years, and have made excellent restorative repairs to a 19 year old project car that needed some TLC. I drive over 40 miles to get these cars serviced there because the work is solid and the experience is always positive.

I usually don't review places and purchases much. But Jon at Munch Repair Services has really moved me to rate him. I brought my wife's car, a 2004 Honda Civic to two other mechanics. One did not diagnose her car. Another misdiagnosed and cost us $600 in unnecessary repair. We were also told there was a 10 day wait at the dealer. Our issue was no heat at an idle. Jon diagnosed very detailed and very accurately several problems with the vehicle. He was articulate with his explanation as to what was occurring, which was a cracked head gasket between cylinders 2 and 3 which he confirmed with a borescope(small camera). The engine was burning coolant. Jon made the repair along with a few other necessary repairs. My wife's car left his shop running like a top! A week later and the issue has not returned! I'm so over the moon with Jon and his service at Munch! Jon's shop is 30 minutes away from us and it is still now our go-to mechanic. Jon is very to-the-point and does not dumb down his explanations. He's very friendly and his prices are reasonable. You cannot go wrong with Munch.

Munch Repair Services is my go-to place for any services for my car. They are direct about what issues there are with your vehicle and they don't overcharge you. They are friendly and easy to work with. Munch Repair stands by the work and service they provide. I don't live close by, but I trust them to make sure my car is running well.

I was having a problem fueling my van at the fuel pump. A friend of mine suggested I bring it to Munch Repair Service. I made an appointment and the guys there diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs with my approval. They fixed the problem on the first visit. They are now my new mechanic shop for all my automotive repairs & service. Thank you Jon and the Guys at Munch Repair.

They were my go-to auto shop while I lived nearby, I've never felt taken advantage of at Munch, which I worry about at other mechanics. With reasonable prices, great automotive knowledge and helpful customer service, I highly recommend Munch!

This place is really good. The only inconvenience is that they are always busy so you have leave your car for approximately 4-5 hrs. Proper pricing, they don t over charge you be assured! They recommend necessary fixes but also inform if they need urgent attention
