I had been fruitlessly searching for someone in the Syracuse area to refurbish my outdoor furniture -- the frames were still in good shape, but needed repainting, and the fabric needed to be replaced. My cousin Sue, from Fair Haven, recommended that I contact Sterling Custom Canvas because she had been so pleased when she had them redo an old chair for her. I stopped by with one of my outdoor in the fall. Both Josh and Steve were fantastic to deal with. They explained the fabric options and what they would do to paint the chair frames (and my table base). I received a quote within a few days that I was very happy with and left my chairs with them for the winter, with the understanding that the work would be done by spring. I received a call last week that the chairs were ready, and picked them up today. I could not be happier with the result -- the furniture is like new, but better quality than anything I found while looking for replacement furniture. I am really glad that my furniture isn't just filling up the landfill and that I did not settle for what I saw at the stores. If I weren't limited to 5 stars, I would give them more --absolutely wonderful to do business with. And I guess I owe my cousin another bottle of wine for sending me their way.

Love these guys! Josh and Steve are amazing! The did a beautiful job on my new cushions and made an old pair of chairs gorgeous again!

Josh is simply outstanding to work with and his work is of the highest quality. He created a bimini top, deck and bow cover for our older Bayliner Capri and completely transformed the look. If you re looking for any kind of canvas work, look no further, you ve found your craftsman in Josh.

I had Sterling Custom Canvas design and fabricate a dock cover for a boat that isn t designed to have one. Josh and his team took time to understand my needs and budget, and put together an awesome solution. I m delighted with the entire experience. 100% recommended.

It s refreshing to work with someone who is as passionate about their job as I am of mine. Josh recommend the best material for a cover to protect the varnish from being scratched on my freshly refurbished classic boat and did an excellent job workmanship wise fitting the cover. He is my new go to person for any canvas work I need and can t wait to see how he does on my upholstery work. Thank you!

Josh is amazing. He really did a great job on our interior cushions of our Pearson 367 Sailboat.They look expensive. Easy to work with..did exactly what we wanted. He also went above and beyond when we had a canvas emergency. Turning around time in two days. Can't say enough about how well he runs his business.
