The owner and all his staff are so nice. Never make you feel like you got some nerve bringing your car there and expecting them to look at it, like so many (too many) other places on the Island.

My catalytic converter heat shield was falling off. Emergency stop at Tom s and getting the help to cut it off was so fast and easy. Super friendly staffs.

These guys are on point, several repair shops kept telling me to come back next week every week.It seemed like everyone was intimidated to change my compressor on my 2005 Volvo S60.One mechanism said I don't work on volvos lolIt was a big job, in order to change the compressor you have to remove the radiator power steering pump and alternator but they were willing to take on the job that no one else wanted to and did a great job at it including replacing two hoses I needed for my turbo Tube which saved me from having to replace the MAF sensor that I thought was the reason my engine light was on.Tom is a gentleman true to his word and Joe is a hell of a mechanic he knows his stuff I will only use this shop for now on.Avoid Sun Si auto repair on Lyndhurst there clueless with Volvo's and Jason has no patience, he's moody, and sensitive.The shop is so unorganized they even misplaced my new compressor I bought however the mechanics are nice guys and do suggest where to take your car for repair lol

Car stalled in the city but I live on the Island and have never used an auto shop here before. I did a quick search on here and found that Tom's was the closest to me that had the best rating and its warranted.By the time I got a tow it was way past operating hours so I had to leave the car next to the shop with hopes that they could help and help they did.Not only did they open on time but they were able to help by changing the alternator and battery the same day without an appointment.I got really lucky because it was a Friday and I would have had to go the whole weekend without my car if it wasn't for them.Thank you guys for all your help and you've made a lifelong customer out of me!Service: Battery

Would highly recommend to family and friends. Had work done on two of my vehicles. First job my 1999 Toyota Corolla complete Suspension system redone awesome job. My wife s 2009 Honda Civic Brakes and rotors re-done excellent job. Besides Tom being an incredible car Mechanic what I love most is he s an honest man so hard to find nowadays. So if your looking for an incredible mechanic and an honest person LOOK NO FURTHER you found him.

Tom does good automotive work. He will go out of his way to get hard to find parts. He will help you get your car back on the road for the least money. He is energetic, intelligent and friendly. He charges fair prices. He is a valued part of the community here in South Beach.

They are garbage no one in my family likes going there. I took my car there just to get a quote on my breaks and they never called me about the quote and just started the work without telling me. They cost me more money then it would have been.

the man is a genius. What more can I say. He has been fixing my cars for years. And he has always been very fair and does excellent work. I would trust nobody else with my car you have to try him
