Disgusting service. Took over 45 min. When they told me 20 min ! Said traffic meanwhile driving not an ounce of traffic. Man had a nasty attitude. And when I asked if I can call the dispatcher and pay with my card he acted like he was going to pull over the car immediately and told me only cash. Told him no problem when I get to my stop I ll run inside n grab the cash then. His attitude as if it was such an inconvenience yet I just waited 45 min and never heard of a cab only taking cash. Then when we got to my stop told me make it fast disgusting! Never again.

Solid car service, pleasant driver. Can't give 5 stars because the car wasn't the newest. I would use them again without a thought.

I always try to use this service but it is always hit or miss. I once asked for a ride and they told me 25 minutes and I proceeded to wait for a hour because they kept reassuring me just a couple of minutes. The dispatcher has a extreme attitude and I do not recommend this place. I have nothing against the drivers as they are always kind and simply have a job to follow. The issue lies with the dispatchers and owners.

I ordered speed for a dance I was going to, the driver was there in less than 10 minutes. He was quiet the whole time and his car was extremely clean. Once he parked his car, I handed him the money and we were on our way. The quiet, nice driver and the clean car made it the perfect experience and I'd argue the service is better than Uber all together. 5 stars.

One driver showed up smoking and continued to do so when we got in the car. I had to ask him to stop. We waited an hour for our car to show up at the airport even though I had given flight details in advance

There was a strong verbal conversation inside the dispatchers office, my mother was frightened. Driver's don't get much rest, our commute to the airport was scary

I recently was stuck in JFK with no ride to Staten Island and Heather from speed did not hesitate to get me a car there as soon as possible. Sammy was my driver very nice man got me to Staten Island safe and sound. I had to take a cab to Newark yesterday I did not hesitate to call Speed. they are reliable, professional, on time, and drive very safely . Joe was my driver to Newark, also a very nice man. I have used this company for years to get to and from Newark Airport. Today I called and they would not reserve a car for me say8ng that they don't reserve cars from the airport and to call when I land and IF they have a car available they would come! They lost a customer and I will tell all I know! This was never their policy

I called a week in advance to reserve a trip to newark. I was told the price was $63 with tolls. I called back a day before the trip to confirm and the same price was arranged. At the arrival in Newark airport , the driver asked me for $70 . We contacted the dispatcher and he said the person who told me the price made a mistake. After checking in I called the same taxi to see how much he wanted for the same trip. And the same dispatcher told me $63. They are not honest. They are crooks. I was going to give the driver a $10 tip anyway. So I was going to pay $73. I ended up giving him a $5 tip. I shouldn't have given the crook anything. He got $2 extra dollars lol. Hope he is happy

Great service, depending on which dispatcher answers I dont personally care for one of them. Regardless, overall I like the drivers, I like the prices & I prefer them to Uber/Lyft

There's a couple reasons why I recommend calling Speed.A) the name is fittingB) the have ALWAYS told me an honest and accurate wait time, even if it was a little longC)always have great conversations w drivers..they have lovely employeesD)you get an actual person when you call and even after you book your car..you can call back and get a human on the line!(Not true for some other companies)Heads up. Cash only. Will always stop at ATM if you ask nicely lol (well I suggest the nice part cause why not)

First of all, the guy was 20 minutes late and didn t even apologize, like he was doing us a favor for picking us up. He drove like a maniac and also was doing 10 different things while he was driving. This cause him to go to a different address and we were late to a scheduled event. Never again using this service!! Need a ride, just use Uber!!

Yesterday I called to have my 81 year old father picked up at Newark at 10:00 pm. The guy who answered assured me that he would be taken care of. I got a phone call from my dad at 10:45pm that no one was there so I called and the said they picked him up, but they didn't it was someone else. The dispatcher told me he would send a car and you know what I told him and picked my father up myself. We ended getting home after 12:00am. Never again will I call Speed!

I called them because my two brothers used them for quite sometime before they passed one of them was blind and they were always very nice to them. Called to take me to JFK airport, the guy showed on time and he was pleasant. Would use them again.

I ordered a cab yesterday to my home going to a friends home. It was $15. I tipped an additional $5.I spent the night at that address and this afternoon called the same cab company and ordered the cab back to my friends house to take me back to my home. It was now $20. So I asked the driver if he was sure bc I took the same trip yesterday for 15 and he said he remembers hearing my call over the radio. So he called his dispatcher and said the customer said she did same trip yesterday for 15 why is it 20 today? ...the dispatcher said shes crazy no way absolutely not shes lying that's crazy I would never charge 15 we r never picking up from those addresses again. His exact words. The cab driver was embarrassed and apologized I said how it wasnt his fault and is ok not to worry about it. I paid the 20 and still tipped him 5. The dispatcher is the same guy from yesterday as well. So either hes crazy and or doesnt have a proper memory or the cab driver secretly discounted 5 dollars to be nice so now I do look like I'm lying but either way I wont be using this service again. All he had to say was no that is not accurate. He literally screamed his head off! Plus he told me cab was 15 mins away and it came 35 mins later not 15. The cabs are always late and dirty. I should've paid the extra money and taken a nice quick uber. Xoxoxo 31 M

Never calling this place again. I called gave my number and was told 20 minutes. I was waiting outside looking for the car and called to check up after 40 minutes. The dispatcher answers and screams have a good night when I nicely asked how much longer. So out of the blue I was confused so i said excuse me? He continues to scream saying someone came waited 10 minutes and left and that he called and I didnt answer. Completely false because I was looking outside and had my phone in hand. So nasty unprofessional and disrespectful. I will never call ever again. To scream like an animal at someone who's politely asking for an update is just insane. Poor business it needs to be shut down or needs new owners. Disgusting.

The worst cab service ever!!Called a cab and it came 40 minutes late! On top of that, it picked up 2 other people on the way who were going to a different location. These people along with us had no idea that other people were supposed to get picked up as well. After calling the company to resolve the issue the dispatcher said " you need to notify me if you don't want someone to get picked up on your way" and that it's my fault. are you f***ing kidding me!....And that we can't even split the price between everyone while making our commute 50 minutes longer.The cab driver was being a d*ick as well threatening us to drop us off where we were picked up from originally after our 40 minutes wait. Being in a vulnerable position and in need of getting home on time we had to stick through.To get to the point, the service is terrible. There is miss communication with employees and clients. TERRIBLE BUSINESS.It's took 2 HOURS TO GET HOME!!!!!!!!!!

All 3 times I've used this service, the guy on the phone was extremely rude. He just isn't kind at all. I've given them a chance...3 strikes and you're out. I get anxiety every time I try to call the place. I'd rather pay more for an uber for more professional service.

They said 1/2 hour... Waited for more than an hour on a very hot sweltering day... They sent a car that wasn't air conditioned. Told the driver to leave on a corner... Makes a left and blamed cause I didn't tell where I needed to be left off... Horrible service!!!!

Drivers and cars are amazing. Some dispatchers are the worse though, they can be rude and unfriendly. It's the drivers who end up suffering from their actions and attitudes when customers don't want to call again.

Literally the worst taxi cab service, I called at 11:45 and asked for a cab the man told me 10 minutes after 45+ minutes of waiting I called backed and asked the man where my cab was and he said she s down the block and she will be there in 3 minutes. Another 30+ minutes go by and I called him and asked him to just cancel the cab because I don t want it and he said my taxi was outside for 2 minutes and I never came but no one ever called me and I told him that then he proceeded to tell me she beeped the horn. For one that s unprofessional, 2, no one ever came to my house and beeped their horn, and when I told him that he began to tell me I m very rude. Like how do you tell the costumer that their rude??? Just take a Lyft because it s cheaper and waaay faster and less headache. Honestly these people were just disgusting and rude. Wish I could give it 0 stars

They're the worst. Not reliable and always late. The front desk woman is always nasty and answers everything with an attitude. Our cab was never dispatched because the driver didn't hear her and they never sent another one. Not to mention it's 10 degrees out with wind at 30mph.

This car service was at first the fastest option, then went from a "10 minutes wait to a 35 minute wait" and 12 minutes was added to my 15 minute ride because another passenger was picked up without asking and he didn't have a mask and the driver didn't say anything, when I voiced my concerns the driver said "we did this before we are doing it now" the driver was nice, but the company is out of whack. Was also the same price as on the way alone

I've always use speed when I need a ride. Ask for Katip he's such a nice guy. The owner George is also a great guy.

The dispatcher on the weekends it s just mean nasty and disrespectful he didn t confirm that I was going to get my Cab I called back to make sure that I have my car set at the time I asked for and the dispatcher starts yelling and being disrespectful and I asked to speak to his boss he will not give me his boss and then he said that my Cab will not be coming to me now so therefore he s taking money out of the cabdrivers pockets by doing that and it s just wrong and it is illegal to not give the higher up position of his to speak to it is a company and not the way Business should be ran I do have to say that Heather The dispatcher I guess during the week is really nice respectful and is willing to let you know that your car will be there at the time you ordered it she would take down my number and give me a call when they cab is two minutes away I am not done with this I want this guy to understand that that s not the way you speak to people
