Very professional and organized. Took time to listen and replied with great knowledge. Did some brake work changed out the pads. I recommend this business to anyone who needs work done they also offer warranty to all the work they do. I have been here a few times, more recently today for an inspection and once again the quality in customer service was beyond exceptional, I booked in with a younger guy today in the office and the way he presented himself and talked to me was very impressive, no waiting about, within ten minutes he took my car. Highly recommended and will absolutely be back, not very often you walk out of a mechanics smiling, these people will satisfy you, keep up the good work guys!!

I ve brought both of my cars to South Side. I feel like I can trust that they are telling me the truth, which is hard to find. I ve had good experiences every time I ve brought a car in for service. Paul is always helpful and kind.

Came in today to put new tires on my car, also doing the alignment, it s nothing major but when I spotted the long hair mechanic putting a coat on my brake rotors before putting the wheels back on, I knew I came to the right place. I won t say their price are cheap, but definitely not high, and it s really reasonable, and they stand for their quality. When the other mechanic finished the alignment and took the car out for a ride, he felt something was not perfect and put my car back on the lift to tune up again. All these kind of things really made me trust them that they will really take care of my baby. Huge shout out to Paul, nice and honest guy, good to have this shop in my neighborhood.

I'm a native Staten Islander and my family goes back a very long time.. We could write a book on bad experiences with mechanics.Come here once and you'll never go anywhere else, wish I found them sooner!BEST service on the island!Thanks Paul Jr.

I've been taking my cars (2016 Escape and 2003 Honda with 175K) to Paul for years. They're the best. My check engine light came on...which in many cases is a blank check to the repair shop. Paul told me exactly what the problem was, and fixed it for a very reasonable price. He had to order a part, and I still got the car back the next day. You should really give Paul first crack at your problem. You won't be disappointed. I've never beenService: Exhaust

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Service is excellent, pricing reasonable. They repair what needs to be repaired and they dont try to get you to spend money by finding things that,"need attention".

Went in there first time, and The Girl (receptionist seen me there for a while and then ask in a rude way"how may i help you?"But it looked like she had a long day i don't blame her, but when i told her my issue with my BMW X5 that did not turn on & she looked clueless then she spoke with her boss, and he told me what it could be but hes not touching my car since another mechanic already looked at it.Mind you the other mechanic is not an electrician that's why i had to check around for an electrician mechanic. I was like in my head really? that's spiteful and he also said good luck. It looks like this South Side on 2311 Forest ave, there only good for small jobs like tuneups, and if your not wearing a suit or have a luxury car they don't touch.I would change the receptionist for starters because it gave a negative aura and vibe. And Don't be spiteful on fixing cars."Good Luck"

I always have a great experience here. Paul Jr. is making his dad proud by keeping up the excited service his dad once provided me. I never take my SuV to Honda service unless it's a recall. All my work is done here. A 100 's up.

Lazy lady seats in the front desk, didn t want to do photo inspection for GEICO insurance. Every time I come she tells me to come back tomorrow.

This is really one of the best places I've gone to as far as auto repair around the Staten Island/New Jersey areas! Phil and his team are very knowledgeable and friendly, but what stood out to me the most was how committed they were in providing every customer with fast and painless service and support. They know their customers on a first name basis and work hard to get you out the door with no problems.I had a screw in my tire and I called South Side to see if they could take me. I was told to come in anytime!! Lucky in this case because most places would make you set an appointment. As soon as I arrived, Phil was outside to greet me and started immediately getting my car sorted and then a skilled employee started on patching the tire from the inside (the right way!). The tire was fixed and paperworked signed within 20/30 minutes.Unfortunately, the next day I noticed my tire pressure dropped again. Unrelated to the first patch was another hole. I called and was told to come by at any time to the shop. The service professional immediately noticed the issue and plugged the second hole. Then Phil and the receptionist made it easy ordering a new tire and was personally called about when to come in for it. Best experience ever! They make time for their customers and go above 150%! Had a right wheel issue and an OVER-OVERDUE inspection met with Paul Jr. who made the process QUICK, PAINLESS, and EFFICIENT! Pricing was by far the best I have seen and I have taken this car to several spots over the four years I ve had it. It was great having their team take care of the issues and it felt refreshing having my car back on the road again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thanks guys!

Came here for a carco exam required by my Geico insurance. Called yesterday got me in the same morning. Came by every person there and I mean everyone was friendly and easy to work with. Was on a time crunch and Paul got me in and out in no time. They are busy but will fit you in from what I saw they are very well organized and will come back in the future if I ever have any car needs. Thank you again Paul

Did not like my experience. I didn't feel as though I was handled with care. Fixed a coolant leak.. it was leaking a couple months later. Of course it was not the work they did. Changed my oil leak.. replaced gasket. There were several issues with the car afterwards. Would always need to pay to recheck the Car. Didn't trust them to go back anyway. I dont usually give bad reviews but No if you're a woman don't go.

I've been going to South Side Auto services for many years and it's the only shop that I trust. I brought my 2018 CX-5 in due to bad/poor acceleration, Paul as courteous and friendly as he always is, helped locate what the issue was.I had to get my left axle seal replaced which led to a slow bleeding/leak of my transmission fluid which meant a seized engine if I kept driving it. They fixed the seal in a timely manner and even topped off the transmission fluid for no extra charge.So I definitely recommend their services.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

My car was stalling and kept shutting off I pulled into this car shop and a lovely guy named Paul helped me with all of my problems was very nice about it knew exactly what to do and didn't hesitate I highly recommend maintenance shop to anyone

South Side Auto Services is a fantastic auto repair shop. I very recently had them work on two of my vehicles for suspension and electrical diagnostics/repair, and for each car, I am completely satisfied with the high quality of their work. The shop is staffed by efficient and knowledgeable people, and the owner Paul is a pleasure to work with.To share my experience in more detail, one of my vehicles had been brought to a different auto repair shop after developing a crank, no-start condition and that first shop was unable to repair it after working on it for a very extended period. It was very stressful to be told that my vehicle could not be repaired, but I decided to contact South Side Auto Services to see if they would be willing to try to diagnose and fix it. After speaking with Paul about the vehicle's condition, I had it towed over to South Side Auto Services and he/his team had it running in little more than a week at a reasonable cost.Paul and his team know how to properly diagnose vehicle problems (e.g., electrical, suspension, engine, fuel system, etc.) and repair them quickly. You get what you pay for at this shop. I recommend South Side Auto Services for auto repair work without any reservations.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair
