This place was awesome. Anthony took care of my car basically over night. I needed to replace two pieces on my passenger side of my suburu. Came in, ordered the parts, fixed the very next day. WORK: (1) Car dent & paint repair to the fender and (2) replacement of foggy headlight.PROS:1. BEST CAR BODY PAINT JOB I EVER RECEIVED - The owner, Anthony Cecala, said he had plenty of experience matching the unusual orange color of my car. As promised, the color matched perfectly with the hood, fender and body even though my hood s paint was sun faded. I could not tell the difference between the 3 colors. I was offered the left over paint after the job was completed.2. VERY REASONABLE PRICING - I got 3 estimates from 3 auto body shops in the same area. I loved all three places. However, one place gave triple the price. Preferred Auto Body and another place gave the same low price, but Preferred Auto Body threw a few extras in making it the cheapest price for the service and the biggest bang for the buck!3. CONSCIENTIOUS OF PEOPLE S DIFFERENT FINANCIAL SITUATIONS - In order to fix my foggy headlight, I needed a part to be ordered. The owner, without being asked, gave me three price options - (1) low-cost (used part), (2) moderate (after-market part) and (3) expensive (brand new). He explained the pros & cons of each option.4. PROFESSIONAL - Offers formal printout of parts, services and costs beforehand and the owner sticks to his word. No surprise costs!5. QUICK TURNAROUND - The work was always completed earlier than the deadline given and, one time, they made an exception for an emergency turnaround.6. PREMIER CUSTOMER SERVICE - I have always been treated with great care at the office, always being offered and served tea/coffee while I wait to speak with someone. The workers are always patient and take the time to answer all my questions and concerns. With no financial benefit to himself, the owner regularly gave advice on how I could fix/improve other parts of my car myself. He also gave suggestions of places I could go to fix my car for low-cost.CONS:It took me three tries to eventually get an estimate because the owner was out doing favors for customers who were without transportation. Please call before you go! However, I believe it is well worth the persistence/wait to get in contact with this business because the work and customer service is truly exceptional!SUMMARY: Preferred Auto Body offers superior workmanship, integrity, efficiency, affordable pricing and premier customer service.

Let me start off by saying that I have lots of experience in regard to autobody shops.With that being said, I am a fairly ruthlessly honest in my reviews with ZERO BIAS. I will start off by saying that I called Anthony, the owner/operator of this family business, in a pinch. I happen to damage a rim on an extremely expensive vehicle on vacation (I live in Florida) I was borrowing and needed it to be fixed with very short notice ( 24 hrs). I called a couple of other shops, but they quoted me three times the amount on average for repair and minimum 3 days to do it. Luckily, I stumbled across preferred auto body, and I couldn t have been happier with the results. Anthony was kind, knowledgeable, and Extremely professional. A true master of his craft, but most importantly he was honest and trustworthy. If you re looking for an autobody shop in Staten Island, Give your business to this guy. Not only will you get a phenomenal Finished product, you will get treated with respect and with fairness. Not only did he charge less than his competitors. He also completed the job faster than his competitors. That s something I have never experienced before. From South Florida I say Thanks again, Anthony!

Anthony and his crew are the best at what they do. I dropped of my top case to get painted to match my bike and they perfected it from taking it apart, painting it, and putting it back together. It looks like it came from factory. I also had them do certain things on my 19 vette and they mastered that as well. Any body work or paint, Anthony is my guy to go to. Best place to go to, Anthony will definitely take care of your vehicle. Restoring it brand new, my bmw went from a heap of rust to brand new looking vehicle/ he took care of my fender and bumper. i love the restoration and replacement of the bumper. the restoration of the little scratches of the rocks hitting my car on the highway is barely noticeable. the feeling of the car of the brand new clear coat is amazing it looks like i bought my car recently. he will help you out completely 100%. A friend recommended me to him and angel's auto glass also recommended me to him. Angel told me he will take care of me. Anthony did. thank you Anthony, i will definitely come back to you for anymore issues. Even though he takes a while but its worth the wait.

I have to return my leased car to the factory next week. I went to see Anthony the owner of Preferred Auto Repair referred by my mechanic. I met with the owner Anthony and told him what needs to be repaired and asked for his advice on how to minimize the cost. The rear passenger door and the bumper of my car were hit. The minute I spoke with Anthony I knew that I can trust him and my car will come back beautiful. I also mentioned that�time is against me due to my work. He assured me that it will be fixed on time. He even proposes to drop off my car at my house if I do not have a ride. I went to pick up my car yesterday, the quality of his work cannot justify and it was done in no time. The bill was a fraction of what the BMW factory would charge me. FYI: I was working in the car business for 10 years and that was 10 years ago and I know how Cut Throat and Rip Off when dealing with car repairs!!! I would recommend this auto body shop to anyone I know. Thanks again Anthony for your professionalism and your help!Regards,

I do not write reviews often but Anthony was so awesome, I needed to write this. Hopefully, Nothing happens in the future but if it does I will definitely bring my car and let anyone else know to bring their car here as well. His shop is meticulous he is honest, sincere and I believe really loves what he does. takes care of our cars like they're his own. Thanks Anthony for everything!

This is an Anthony and his crew appreciation post.I can t thank them enough for all of the effort that they put into fixing my car.Let s face it, anyone who is going to an auto body shop is stressed freaked out a bit, and yet this is a staff that genuinely practices empathy and transparency.My car was fixed in a timely manner and for a fair price.I ll go back the next time I need repairs.I highly recommend them.

I needed my side view mirror replaced and checked the yelp reviews for the three nearest shops. I couldn't believe Preferred Auto had a 5 star rating, which I now know they deserve. I went and met with Anthony (the second generation owner) and was treated like I was family and it didn't matter that my job was a small one. I got a very very good price (I have no idea why they were given 2 stars by someone else) and the mirror was replaced the same week. If ever I need work done (hopefully I won't) I definitely will go back and I will also recommend Preferred Auto to anyone I know who needs work done. I took a chance on Preferred a couple of months ago and was very pleased with the work that was done. Anthony and his guys were very professional and friendly. Anthony was very helpful in the whole process and made the experience of getting my vehicle fixed, easier than i thought it would be. He explained everything that was going on and helped a lot in dealing with the insurance company. He kept me up to date with the insurance company and how the job was going. The whole process went smooth and the shop got the repair job done within a timely manner. The crew did a great job on the repair and it looked perfect. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing auto body repair on Staten. Thank you Anthony and Preferred for your work on my vehicle.

I would recommend to anyone who has high expectations for the best quality of service. The shop is always busy full of cars, which could only mean one thing; they are the best! Preferred auto provided me with excellent support, and I would approve to anyone who wants the job done correctly without cutting corners. When returning my car to the leasing dealership, they took 2 hours inspecting the side of my vehicle where the collision had taken place, just to tell me: whoever replaced your door, did a flawless job, excellent work. That day I returned my lease with no discrepancies. Anthony, you re a true gent. Thank you for all of your help, support, and guidance in the tedious process of my insurance claim. I had a great experience at Preferred Auto Body. I had an issue that when previously taken to the dealership, could not be diagnosed. Anthony was able to correctly figure it out as soon as I showed it to him. It was fixed on the spot in about 15 minutes and I wasn't even charged for the work. Everything was clearly explained to me and I received great customer service all around. Next time I need work done, I will be coming back here.

Anthony is amazing. After some not so great experiences at other auto body places, I m so happy I came across this one. Anthony is the absolute best he fixed scratches on my car and repainted some parts and didn t want to charge me! I couldn t recommend more.

Anthony, Elena, and the whole team are seriously fabulous. My car looks back to brand new. Anthony is from a rare breed of business people that understand that keeping a customer for life is more important than a few extra bucks. Hands down the best auto body shop on the island! They can and will get the job done, and you will be more than satisfied with their workmanship, and most importantly leaving without breaking the bank. Their shop is top notch, and the staff is very courteous. Anthony, the owner, is very professional and was able to answer all of my questions, and they got me on my way quickly! I highly recommend this business to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle from A-Z they ve got you covered!

Preferred Auto body fixed two of my cars and I am completely satisfied with the service. The owner Anthony is very understanding and helpful. The staff is all great and quick to help! They are also so quick...I took my car in on Wednesday and got a call at noon on Thursday it was done. I was blown away! They also have a lifetime guarantee on their work. I will definitely return to Preferred Auto Body the future.I rarely write review for businesses unless they are extremely good/bad. In this case Preferred Auto Body is extremely good. I'm in and out of bodyshop a lot and this one is by far the best. They are very down to earth and kind, I could have easily spend hundreds of dollars else where but they did an easy fix for me without charge. I am beyond thankful and will definitely recommend them.

Don t come here. Took 6 months to fix a fender bender. I thought everything would be done right. WRONG. They put AFTERMARKET PARTS ON MY CAR NOT GENUINE PARTS. Never picks up the phone. The paint is bubbling, the bumper what was supposed to be painted wasn t even done right. They lost parts for my car that I brought in and I had to buy them again with my own money, missing clips under the hood so panels are loose, paint does not match. It was like once they got the money from insurance, they just stop caring. I even brought the car somewhere to get it wrapped and they told me I should bring the car back to body shop because of so many mess ups. Save you re time and go somewhere else

I got 2018 ford raptor repaired from preferred Auto. The guys did a amazing job I'd say better then any shop in the town. Anthony took care of all the details and renegotiating the quote and did a awesome job. I'd definitely recommend them.

Excellent family run shop. Personable, fair and communicates well. Helps navigate the insurance paperwork and phone calls, answers questions patiently and gives honest answers. Polite, respectful and quality work each time! Ive have four different cars from our household repaired there; from major accidents to minor scratches and glass replacement. Quality work at a fair price! Highly recommend!!

Anthony the owner neighborhood man born and raised , family owned business of his father ... you'll know right away just by talking to him ,he is very honest , he will explain everything that has to be done . you'll know just by listening to him , that he knows his business , he will give you a good estimate and not try to take you to the cleaners ... now as for his men, it goes without saying , their expertise , bodywork , repairs , and paint etc. is above and beyondi give ( ***** stars ) ... a friendly group of guys also ...my car looks better than when i bought it new (forget my accident)thank you Anthony , God bless you and your crew ...respectfully ,Mike

Preferred Auto Body is the premier Auto Body shop of Staten Island. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years under Glen's ownership and now his son Anthony has assumed the leadership of the family business.Glen's hard work and attention to detail has been passed onto his son who is successfully following in his father's footsteps. The staff are all hard working men with a strong work ethic that take pride in what they do.I wouldn't use any other body shop for my car!!If you haven't discovered this gem in Rosebank you need to. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

I took my car (2017 bmw) to this shop expecting to pay an arm and a leg for the work I needed done. I had already been quoted by a few other shops and the guy Antony that helped me was very respectful, professional, and beat everyone else's price! I wish I could leave more stars because my car looks brand new again! I highly recommend these guys!!!

Anthony, what can I say, but a true Gentlemen!! Made appt. got there, they immediately started to install the running boards needed for the Ram 1500 pick up. They are an amazing crew of professionals with great personalities. Sent them dozens and dozens of clients thru family and friends and never heard of a hiccup. They always get back to me with great/wonderful feedback. There timeline is on point always!! Especially when your in this service industry that there in. Thank you again and again for making my wife and I happy customers for life!!
