Went in for an Inspection was told I needed a new transmission as well a million other "recommended " repairs. Walked out with $146.00 bill, no repairs no new Inspection sticker...Nicely played My Mechanic, nicely played...

Great place, friendly and fast service! Everyone was so nice. I went in for an oil change and was greeted by Jamie at the desk. Was out in less than and hour. Awesome service!!

This place always goes the extra mile for you and will always recommend. Javier and his staff are always top of the line mechanics and will always do right by you. Also just had some more work done for a bad knock sensor and are the best in completing in a timely fashion. Jaime the front desk girl is super helpful as always

This place is GREAT! Ive been coming here for years and the owner Javier is honestly the most knowledgeable mechanic around. Very honest and fair with their prices and the new receptionist (Alicia?) is very professional and helpful. I just wanted a state inspection. I left my truck, and they called 3 hours later saying I needed $3,400 worth of work. They got NO business from me, (though I did tip the guy, even though he tried to rob me). He even offered to buy my vehicle. I took the truck someplace else, got $300 worth of work, and passed the inspection. That should tell you all you need to know.

Great customer service, the owner and employees have a great personality, I went for an inspection and waited 15 minutes, and that was good, spoke to the receptionist and she had a great personality as well, she knew the answers to all my questions, I recommend going here for ur car services

Superb service & very competitive prices, short waiting time, highly trained mechanics & front desk personal. No unnecessary repairs or services; last time I brought my car for an oil change & inspection and was told my car doesn t need the inspection for another month simply put I saved some money. Will be coming to this place as needed & recommend it to my friends. Thank you all at My Mechanic, keep up with great service!

I have used them twice and I won t use anyone else every again. First time I went to them, the work they did was $400 cheaper than anyone else wanted to charge me. That was two years ago and the car is still running perfect.On a recent trip they took me in at 3PM on a Friday. Who does that? Within one hour they diagnosed the problem. It was a clip that came loose on my fan. No charge. These guys are as honest as they come. They have a customer for life now.These other mechanics can learn a lesson from these guys. OK so you make a couple of hundred bucks from me, by screwing me for work that isn t needed. Congrats!! These guys are honest and quick and now they have a customer for life who will recommend them to everyone I know. You made a couple of hundred .these guys will make thousands from me and my referrals!!!Get it Now fools??

Every time I need to have work done on any of my cars I go to My Mechanic. Peggy & Javier as well as their staff are excellent! I highly recommend them. Chris GiglioOn February 15 2020 I had my son in laws truck in for and inspection and oil change. Javier Gil And Peggy Torres are the only Mechanic s that I really have a lot of faith & Trust In. They also try to squeeze you in. Always do excellent work as well.

I have been coming to the Gifford's Glen location in Staten Island for years. Javier is incredibly professional and know cars inside and out. I recommend this location to anyone who needs any auto services. My compliments to Javier, Peggy, and all who work there!!!

This is the only place I have been to that I fully trust with my car. Peggy and Javier are so friendly, helpful, and knowledgable - not to mention fast! They always have great promotions/discounts, and are conveniently located next to the Great Kills train station. They will go out of way to make sure your car is safe and in tip top shape, and are honest people who aren't out to take advantage of your wallet. Shout to to Peggy, who is the first woman on Staten Island to become certified to perform NYS inspections! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I went to My Mechanic with my car sputtering and I had a check engine light on. I had no idea what was wrong with it. The woman Peggy at the front desk was extremely friendly and assured me that the mechanics would find the problem. I had to go to work and she also assured me that my car would be safe there. An hour later, she called me and told me that I needed a tune up and had to replace an ignition coil. She explained to me in detail why I needed to do the work. I gave them the go ahead to do the work. She then called me to tell me the work was done and that they weren't going to charge me the diagnostic fee because I went ahead with the work that needed to be done. They are honest people who could of taken my $89.00 for diagnostic, but they didn't. Thanks My Mechanic for being honest and my car is working like new.

Very good experience all around.The manager owner is a consummate professional who takes care of his customers. He even displays all the type of services along with the mechanics hourly rate.This is why My Mechanic Auto Service has become My Mechanic

If i could give this place -1 stars, i would.Javier is a rude, thief and a bully. He spoke to my entire family like I've never heard any business owner speak to customers.Javier said "Oh you're rich white guy, but now you're cheap. You're cheap and lazy"NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOUWish I could upload the recording I have of him speaking to me and my family the way he did. His true colors came out BIG TIME.

Went to this place for a check engine light. Was told I needed spark plugs. Said it would take 3 hours. 2 hours later the shop called and said I needed an ignition coil. At that point they had me, so I told them to do it. When I came to pick up the car, I find out I was charged $15 a spark plug. So just the spark plugs cost me $90. Then I find out the ignition coil was $157. I called several local auto part stores and the most expensive ignition coil was $70. The people there are nice but they rob you in parts. I will not be going back. The whole job cost $540 for spark plug change. Stay away from here.

Always quick and friendly service. At great kills location. Being a woman it is hard to find a mechanic who doesn t try to take advantage and tell you, you need things that you don t. They are very trust worthy.
