The years passed so fast, the peace of mind I have since my cars are being managed by Danny the owner and his team at Island Car Care. Major transformation were done and never doubt their sincerity to keep me safe and just focus on making the best in life! I'm not interested to look for another shop nor prepared for uncertainties. You have earned my trust guys and thank you very much for taking care of me

I m so happy I found Danny and his team of expert mechanics! I have been everywhere and as a woman it s really hard to feel comfortable with finding an honest repair shop. With Danny I felt so much care and I am happy to say the work came out great too. The repairs were fairly priced, great warranty, speedy service and all with a great personal experience. I will certainly be back and I highly recommend Danny and Island Car Care.

After having an exceptional experience with this service center seven years ago, I felt compelled to finally express my gratitude in writing. Returning for service recently, I was once again met with outstanding professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy that truly sets this team apart. Their attention to detail, transparent communication, and dedication to customer satisfaction have only solidified my trust and appreciation. It's rare to find such a consistent level of service over the years, and I am thoroughly impressed. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace of mind with their service needs. These guys took great care of my Audi. Definitely would recommend to anyone since these guys are professionals and very respectful. Danny also made me feel welcomed and made sure all my concerns for the car were taken care of.

I couldn't have asked for better service to get my 2008 Volvo C70 back to running the way it should! It was worth every penny plus, and the owner is a gentleman and very personable. I am a fanatic about my vehicle and they took extra care and promised my car the next day, and it sure was ready as promised. Better than going to the dealer in NJ! Thank you to Danny and his wonderful mechanics! Total confidence in this place and happy they are on Staten Island!

They are cool and honest people and gave me some pretty nice discounts. There were just a couple small things but other than that this place was perfect. They worked on my car a little bit longer than expected and I had to come back for a quick fix but everything else was great. I ll definitely be coming here if I need help with anything else.

This place is just truly wonderful ! My car broke down on a Monday and the place that I normally take it to (which I actually don t really care for) told me they couldn t take my car until Thursday !! I called island car care bc of the great reviews it already had and I was not disappointed. Danny answered the phone and was very kind. He told me to bring it in that same day. I thought it was a transmission issue but Danny and his guys checked it thoroughly, and it ended up not being a transmission problem which was great for my pockets ! They were honest and knowledgeable. Also what won my heart was that Danny gave my son a toy car and he plays with it every day. I ll 100% be coming back here for all of my car problems . Island Car Care is one of those rare places that gets the work done both Quickly AND Correctly. And they always suggest what you may NEED next or what you SHOULD get done, (and as someone who's not a "car guy", I appreciate that), but with no pressure to do it now.It's never fun when your car breaks down and/or needs to be serviced - BUT when you put your car 'in the shop' at Island Car Care, it's worth the trouble. We've been taking our cars to Danny and his guys for probably 20 years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. In fact, we recently moved to the other end of Staten Island and they're still our trusted mechanics.

I m a wannabe enthusiast . I purchased a pretty cool 2008 R52 Mini Cooper S Sidewalk Edition Cabriolet and had it delivered to me by the dealer who seemed to be a standup guy. Turns out, he wasn t. Anyway, it needed a ton of work and I contacted Dan at Island Car Care who , surveying the situation assured me he and his team could make it right. Dan put Pete one of his A-1 Mechanics on the job and lo n behold they transformed the car into a worthy representation of this somewhat rare car. Dan , Pete and team , Thank you from the fullness of my heart from both me and Cappuccino! See you soon!

If you need any automobile service with any of your cars, I highly recommend that you take it Island Car Care. I trust no one else with my 2022 Porsche GT3, and all of my other vehicles. Dan & Peter are true professionals. They treat your car better than they treat their own cars.I d give them 6 Stars, but they wouldn t let me.

(PT2) Initially, when I walked in, I asked for pricing regarding an inspection which you informed me that was $37. Nobody came with a demanding attitude about anything. I have no such mindset with expecting free services from any business. I don t know where you re coming up with these false assumptions. That would contradict my initial question which was How much would an inspection be? with no attitude whatsoever might I add. Your response alone proves everything I ve said and your poor character. Nobody magically came up with a card payment, you must ve forgotten I had someone with me who was kind enough to pay using her card. Just confident, loud, and wrong in every aspect. Once I mentioned that I had a mechanic of my own and didn t prefer your services, is when you re whole demeanor and tone switched up and I respectfully addressed you about it. You claimed didn t have an attitude when it was clear as day that you had a nasty one. Your money hungry mindset will get you nowhere quickly. You don t know anyones financial situation to be commenting on it period. That alone proves your lack of professionalism and outright disrespect. The problem was never about paying for the services. Had I known that you d add extra fees without my consent; I would ve been more prepared and bought the necessary amount of funds. Learn to take accountability.

I highly recommend Island Car Care because they offer quality comprehensive service inclusive of repairs, NYS inspection and registration, maintenance of your vehicle and most importantly knowledge. I appreciate and am confident that I can rest assured that my vehicle needs are always taken care of. They are courteous, respectful and care about their customers!

I took my car to couple of places before I went to them. I totally went there just by only reading the reviews so needless to say that my expectations were not too high. BUT I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.They simply know what they are doing.I definitely will recommend them. Danny should get an extra Star .Thank you for good service.

IF I COULD PUT NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. My recent visit to Island Car Care was nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by abysmal customer service, a complete lack of professionalism, and outright offensive behavior. From the moment I walked in, the staff exhibited a horrible attitude, displaying arrogance and disdain towards customers. Their communication was appalling, with minimal effort made to explain the issues with my car or provide updates on the progress of the repairs in a respectful manner. What truly shocked me was the unnecessary sarcasm and condescension from the technician. Instead of addressing my concerns respectfully, they resorted to belittling remarks and sarcasm, making me feel like I was being mocked. To make matters worse, Island Car Care went ahead and performed services that I explicitly did not ask for, adding unnecessary charges to my bill without my consent. Nonetheless had the audacity to undermine me when I expressed the concern. (It s just 12 dollars more) is not how you respond to a customer especially when you don t know what someone can and cannot afford. This blatant disregard for customer preferences is unacceptable and reflects their lack of integrity. The most disturbing part of my experience was the use of racial slurs(these people) and discussing his frustrations about us to the employees. It is utterly reprehensible that Island Auto Care tolerates such hateful language in their workplace, creating a hostile environment for customers as myself of diverse backgrounds. In summary, my experience at Island Car Care was an absolute disaster. Their abhorrent customer service, disrespectful attitude, lack of professionalism, poor communication, unwanted added services, and use of racial slurs are completely disgusting. I urge others to steer clear of this establishment and seek auto repair services elsewhere.

The parts cost $700 and the labor at $125 / hour for 5.3 hours and the AAA 10% discount put me at $1,379.50. I have $950 in savings for emergencies. Danny was unwilling to negotiate with me. I had to pay the diagnostic fee of 2.7 hours $367; and get my vehicle towed to my house UNFIXED. The diagnostic fee alone cost me a whole week s pay-check. The AAA discount was not enough to help me get the car fixed. I do NOT recommend this auto repair shop. I could not afford their labor price.Lesson learned: if you don t have an existing relationship w/ a mechanic in Staten Island, do not take your car to their business - they will charge you out your nose.

I came in for a tune up and oil change. I was a new customer. I actually scheduled my first appointment and accidentally forgot about my first appointment. Danny (the owner), was so incredibly kind and understanding, even though I probably caused a scheduling inconvenience for his shop. He called me to check to make sure I was ok since I missed my appointment. I rescheduled, and his team completed the tune up and oil change within an afternoon. He explained everything to me very clearly and didn't try to upsell or persuade me to change parts that I didn't need to change out. He charged a very fair price and even gave me discounts. He gave me wonderful customer service. I highly recommend his shop.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Came here twice for inspection. Danny and his team are very nice and straightforward. Got in and out within a few minutes. Have yet to do anything else but I expect to start coming here for oil changes. I trust him and his team to deliver great work.

Went back to Island Car Care for an oil change. It was quick so I was able to wait while it was being done. An issue with a transmission hose was discovered and I was alerted to have it repaired to avoid transmission problems. These are the things that need to be told when people bring their cars in for maintenance but unfortunately, not all shops will do that. It's appreciated.I went back to Island Car Care for an oil change and possible tuneup. Danny discovered I had a leak in the water pump and that my front break pads were worn down to nothing. Two safety issues!!! I'm glad I took my car here because elsewhere they may not have even discovered those issues. Well worth the cost! Safety firstMy starter went and I had it replaced along with some wires that were destroyed. Not long ago, I had some sensor issues and they repaired that also. What I liked most was that Danny showed me exactly what was going on in my car and explained in detail. I had also bought new car mats and didn't know how to cut and fit them in my car. I went to Island Car Care and the customized them for me free of charge. So appreciated.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Very good, got my tire replaced within a day despite the fact that didn't have spare. Also cleared all the warnings with the exception of the check engine light which went away that night

5 star. I repeat 5 star. Island car care really stepped up and helped me out in my time of need. My car broke down in the morning. Not only were they able to fix my car (bolt joint, struts and axles) immediately, they were able to identify other things that needed work. The crew was very nice and understanding during my crisis and let me tell you it was a mini crisis for me. Danny's hospitality was outstanding. I didn't feel like a number, he treated me like a person. He allowed me to see all the new parts being installed onto my car and he helped me understand how to better take care of my car. Even though I live in NJ, he will be the shop I trust all my vehicles to from now on. Thank Hashem for bring you to help me.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

I will tell everyone who expresses a need to get work done on their car to come down to island car care! The staff is so friendly. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you know exactly what s wrong with your car and exactly how it s going to get fixed. Been going to Island Car Care for over 10 years. I consider them the best. Danny is up front in telling you needs to be done. Pete explains and shows be exactly what he is doing. The staff including Danny were polite, courteous, and efficient. They saw a significant problem during the inspection (brake lights were not working) and determined that the bulbs were burned out. They performed an easy fix at an affordable rate. They saw that I was concerned, and they were honest and assured me that it was not a more serious issue such as an electrical problem.
