Had a trailer hitch receiver and wiring harness installed today. Looks like money! Great Kills always does a great job. My family has been going to them for 2 generations. They are fair and honest. This place is excellent!!Nice employees and honest service, I'm really happy that I live within a walking distance from them!Everyone is knowledgeable and they tell you exactly what you need done on the car. I m a long time customer of GK Service Station, about 20 years now. I continue to bring my vehicle there even after moving away from Great Kills and living closer to other shops. Joe is a class act and his crew never lets me down. I know my car is in great hands there and even when something is wrong they will have the courtesy to discuss things with me first to get my blessing, and they do everything to save me money. I am grateful for GK Service Station and they have my family and I as loyal customers for life!

If you have to use a body shop because, unfortunately, you were in an accident (or your car was parked, minding its own business and got hit like mine was), then Great Kills Service is where you want to go. This is the 3rd body shop I have used on Staten Island, and they are absolute perfection. Work was done quickly and thoroughly - nothing had to be redone - no do-overs or mistakes. Just a great job at a reasonable cost.

Having my vehicle serviced several times now, the employees and owner there are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their pricing is also very fair and reasonable. Tells you the specifics of what's wrong with the vehicle and why it needs replacement. They would more than gladly explain it to you several times.When I went in to get my stabilizers replaced, Joe also replaced the belts because it was on the verge of failing and he was afraid for my safety. Excellent service as always. My car wouldn t start unless I jumped it, brought it to GK service to test the battery. They let me know I needed a new one, and replaced it right then and there. My husband and I are long time satisfied customers of Great Kills Service Center for over 40 years. We started using their service when we moved to Staten Island and have always experienced professional care for our many cars through the years. When ever we had concerns about car issues Joe always took his time with us and made us feel welcome. They have been very fair with the charges for services and this is why we stayed steady customers. Used to be my favorite car service station, but not anymore. Just feel I had wasted my 6 hours there for maintenance service. Drop off my car at 8 am and told them I need my car by 2 pm. Call them every 2 hours to check the status, been told my car will be the next. However, nothing has done until I drove it away at 2pm. Will not come back again for sure, don't feel they care and respect their customers. If they don't respect customer's time, how will they be honest to the customers?Service: General repairs & maintenance

After going to 2 other local repair shops regarding an ongoing stalling problem with my older car which could not be diagnosed, I was sent by one mechanic to Joe at Great Kills Auto. I was very worried about breaking down far from home on my daily commute to Manhattan. I felt confident immediately that Joe would resolve my obscure problem. It took some time and a lot of patience by Joe and his crew, but my stalling problem is completely repaired . Joe and his team were professional, honest and very fairly priced.I will definitely return to Great Kills Auto and recommend them to others.They were a pleasure to work with.

Great Kills Service Station is the only place I will bring my car, even though I moved to NJ 4 years ago. They are honest and reliable. They stand by their work. The work is always done as quickly as possible while still maintaining high quality. Every staff member is knowledgeable and friendly. It's a wonderful place.

So far I have taken three vehicles there and to be honest I have never felt more welcomed and comfortable at a shop. The employees there like Caroline are very friendly and care for there clients. The work is great and has not disappointed in all four visits. I will be returning there for as long as I live in Staten Island. You guys rock!

I can't speak highly enough about the quality job that was done at Great Kills Service Station. I was in an accident in my 2001 Toyota Corolla. I was told by one mechanic that my car was beyond repair but Joe at Great Kills was able to make the necessary repairs at a fair price. Joe was professional, courteous, and prompt. Joe went out of his way to make sure I understood the work he recommended and never made me feel pressured. Finding a mechanic you can trust is nearly impossible, but Joe and his staff are too notch and I would recommend to anyone who needs car repairs or service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Excellent service. I trust them 100%. My family and I bring our cars here. My son had problems wirh his car took it to 3 BMW service companies and they couldn't tell what was wrong with it. He brought to Great Kills Service within 5 minutes they found the problem and fixed it. This place is build on honesty and experience.

Everyone in this shop is great and they don t take advantage of you. The prices are also reasonable and getting your brakes fixed costs $140 less than competitors in the area.If they tell me something is wrong with my car, then somethings wrong, no second guessing.The owner Joe takes pride in his work and his shop and I won t go anywhere else.A few years back I had a lemon of a Chevy cobalt and I knew something was wrong with the fan motor because the car kept overheating. 4 shops - 2 on the island and 2 in queens- all said I was crazy. I went to Great Kills service center as a last resort, explained to Joe my concerns and how nobody else took me seriously. After about an hour he told me he kept the car running and heard it progressively getting louder and it was getting hotter and I was right, the whole fan motor assembly needed to be replaced. Pricing was reasonable and my car never had that issue again.I now have a brand new car and will continue to get basic maintenance there just so this shop can get my money rather than anywhere else

This place is amazing. My whole family goes here. Never any problems! Joe is a very honest man & does great work. This place is definitely worth bringing your car to. You won t regret it.
