Thanks for a professional services. It was very happy to meet a good mechanic and him to take care of my vehicle. They are using high quality materials and I could feel engine performances has changed immediately after their service. I will be back to them soon.

I am a loyal customer who had to have an emergency tow today for a flat tire. As always, Dave and his team were professional, ethical, and trustworthy. I ve been a customer for about 20 years and have never been disappointed. Dave and his staff are the very best of the best and most importantly, HONEST! As a female, going to the mechanic can sometimes be intimidating, but that s one thing you never have to worry about at Colonial. Now, this is my place to go for my car. Especially for women, honesty is important, you do not want to go to the shop and be charged from top to bottom. They care about customers. Changing the radiator - many hours job, plus order detail(wich is time also). And my car is not the only one there. Took a couple of days to get the car back. Even though the shop was closing at 5, they called me almost at 6 because I needed my car asap. I was so happy and was running there.

I have been to Colonial Service Station a couple of times and was treated with professionalism. The staff there are all courteous and thorough. They follow up with you before proceeding with any additional work that needs to be done. They advise you exactly what is wrong, what needs to be done and the cost before proceeding with doing any work to your car. I would highly recommend anyone to this service station. The staff knew I was going on a long trip and thoroughly checked over my car to make sure it was safe to drive. It is my opinion that they take pride in their service and genuinely care about the safety of their customers.

We have been customers of Colonial Service Station for quite a while. We have been more than satisfied with their work, taking their time to explain things to you and they treat you like family. We especially like the fact that they care about their customers -which is very important to us. We highly recommend them for your car repair needs as well as the other services they offer.

My son drives a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe with 170,000 miles on it and Dave and the crew at Colonial are the only ones that I trust to work on his car. This is the only honest repair shop I ve found on the island in 18 years. These guys are great and honest mechanics I have been there many times with issues I thought would cost me thousands of dollars to be told it was something simple and picked up my car the same day with them telling me they're not even going to charge me...some shops would have told me I need a thousand dollar job for the simple fixes they did for me... I never write reviews but for these guys I felt compelled to because I know they are honest guys and won't make some fake diagnosis and charge you for something you don't need...best on the island. if you need work done this is the place you need to go to...Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Brake service & repair

I had a great experience here! I went for my NY state car inspection. I called in the morning and they were able to give me an appointment that same day. They took my car right away, and I waited only 20 minutes for the entire inspection. Everyone who worked there was very nice and friendly. I think it is a family business, and you can tell they really care about their business and their customers. I would definitely recommend them and will be going back there for future car inspections and car service.

Had to get my car towed here last week, was recommended to this place by AAA. Utterly excellent customer service and care. Dave seems like a very dedicated and committed individual. He is very transparent with everyone he interacts with, and that's a huge relief after dealing with so many shady mechanics. I've been to many mechanics in NYC, and I can safely say this is one of the best.

Last week my daughter broke down on the staten Island Expressway. We had David take care of her car for us. He fixed it right away. If we didn t Live two hours away we would always be taking our cars to him. Great service and David seems like a great guy to work with. Highly recommended!

Since the first time I went there and before they even touched my car I could trust them. I am a woman and I went for a second opinion and they saved me $700 - I needed a new catalytic converter - they could have did the repair and had me pay them - but they told me it fell under warranty and my mileage and that the emissions bureau states that the dealer must replace the part if it fell under this category. What a pleasure to meet honest people - Thank you for making me feel safe and that I won't be taken advantage of - I recommend them to everyone = THE BEST BEST

Always a great experience at colonial! I have been going there for years. Dave and the whole staff are so friendly. Many years ago I had an Altima. I had brought it to the dealership to have some work done and got a call that I needed all new brakes and it would be over $2000. I took my car and brought it to colonial and was told I had several thousand miles left on my brakes. Everyone is so honest and great and the prices are reasonable too. I highly recommend them for any of your car s needs!

Dave is a great guy! He's a real honest, quality mechanic. Unlike other mechanics who change things that don't need to be changed just to charge you more, Dave tells you what needs to be done and what doesn't. I have a very unique car that I don't trust with many people. But with Dave I'm 100% confident that the job will be done right and that what I'm charged is very honest and fair. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Thanks Dave for all the work you've done for me keeping my car running and driving like new. Much appreciated!

I have been going to Colonial for almost a decade, my whole family has had cars serviced here and they are amazing!! They will go out of there way to make sure you are taken care of and will explain everything that is wrong. They never let me leave the service station feeling unsafe or confused. No matter who you speak with in the family they are always there to help, fast and on point! I would recommend them to everyone. I will always trust my cars with them. Thank you for your amazing service and dedication. Always a pleasure speaking with them.

Best service station I ve found in many years. They treat me with respect and make me feel like part of their family. The father, the sons, and all the staff are very courteous and professional. And of course once they fix a problem in my car, it doesn t seem to come back, they do it right the first time. A+ work!

I purchased a new Honda Accord from Bay Ridge Honda in January. It was time for my first oil change and I have discounts for service at the dealership. I read the (poor) reviews for Bay Ridge Honda Service and decided to go to Colonial Service Station. I could not be happier with the outstanding service I received. I scheduled my appointment with Cookie the day before and when I arrived for my appointment, they took care of me immediately. I was in contact with Tom Jr., David and Joe when I dropped off and picked up my car. The are all very professional and knowledgeable.I highly recommend Colonial Service Station.

My family & I just moved to Staten island and I know from experience finding a mechanic you can actually trust, that isn't trying to just milk your pockets is HARD. I found Colonial and I LOVE it. They do great work at GREAT prices. My father & I have gone here a few times each and will continue coming here!

The best mechanic. These guys do great work and most importantly they are straight shooters. In a field of work that many question ethics these guys pride themselves on honesty. They will not rip you off like others. My family and I have been using them for many years and will continue for many more. Thank you colonial for the great service.

Quality work at reasonable prices. Everyone was friendly and you can tell they went out of their way for their customers. They are not like most places that just want squeeze every penny from you. And Mike was one of the coolest mechanics I have ever met. He knew what he was doing and was friendly. I will be coming back to them in the future and will be recommending my friends and family to them.

Wonderful people, wonderful place. I have been coming for years and they are always so fair and honest! Been to another place once,because I had a tire issue the other place said I needed to pay 275 for a new tire, came to colonial to ask their opinion the fixed it for $15! They Won't rip you off.

I have nothing but great words for the guys here at colonial. They are very honest and straight forward with you and they will do their best to help you with any problem you have. 10/10 would recommend these guys and i d always bring my car here if i lived on the island.

My In-laws have been using them for many years and they have always been honest and do great work. I had to bring my in-laws car in for an inspection and while they were super busy, they fit me in a short amount of time, so that I could get drive my in-laws back to my house for my wife's birthday. it is something that family would do, and I sincerely appreciated their understanding to get it done to help out me and my family. I can see why my in-laws have used them for so long!

Couldn't possibly recommend this service station more. Wr had an emergency situation w our brakes - but don't live in Staten Island. They took our Mini in right away and found the problem immediately. The sot of the repair was very fair and most importantly we felt that we could trust them because they were very straightforward.Add to the above, the fact that they assisted me beyond the repair w dropping off the car in the neighborhood. The entire experience was reminiscent of an old, family business that actually cares about it's customers.Even though, as I mentioned, we don't live in SI... I will be bringing my car here for all future work as the peace of mind is worth the extra effort to go to Colonial.

Colonial Service Station has been in its present location over 60 years--that, in itself, is evidence it is a good place to take your car for repairs.They have great mechanics and positive attitudes toward their customers, many of whom live in the New Dorp area. Unlike many other car repair shops (including the big dealership shops), it's not a waiting game for your car--they do not take on more jobs than they can do in a reasonable amount of time. My recommendation--take your car to Colonial for repair service. If you do, my expectation is that you'll become a steady customer.
