Great mechanic shop. Took my bmw for a radiator install, they are experienced in all makes & models. Great price phenomenal job Vinny is fantastic. Angel & augustin are great too. Tony & the team there are the best in the tri state area.

Warning: Potential Scam AlertI had an unsettling experience at AV Universal Automotive Repair where it appeared they were attempting to scam me. I went in for an inspection and other minor issues, but they quoted me over $600 for repairs. Seeking a second opinion, I visited other shops who confirmed my car had no problems and would pass inspection. In the end, I only needed an oil change and fixed one indicator light, which cost me just $90 including the inspection itself.The AV UAR owner's claim that my car was in bad condition due to leaves under the hood seemed ridiculous, he told me I have to watch where to park my car. Really?? Be cautious when dealing with them as their integrity and pricing practices are questionable. Maybe they think it is easy to fool young girl who doesn t understand much in this business.

The gentleman here was very kind and friendly and I had a wonderful experience. I came in for an inspection on a Sunday after going to several places who either had no stickers (Firestone) or who had a 2 hour wait (Ten Point) and their CS reps were impolite-cold or feisty-defensive in a bad way. I will definitely make this place my first stop before going anywhere else to service my car in the future.

This shop came with high references from Auto Zone workers on Hylan Blvd and I'm taken back by the owners basic regard for their customer's needs and his financial greed.I brought my car to him for a transmission line leak which he never completed, he took my $100 for doing the job and then when the leak became worse,he had the audacity to tell me I needed the same transmission lines he supposedly fixed 3 weeks prior. In addition, he overcharged me for a shock job that what he claimed "were the best Monroe shocks on the market", they were basic stock shocks and I have piks and receipts to prove that.His workers are very kind, he's NOT. He's a quick talking, quick thinking,conniving,manipulative money hungry business owner that does not care how he gets your money,as long as he gets it. I would not recommend his shop to anyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The best. Can t say enough good things about these guys. They ve taken care of my Range Rover for years. Not many are willing to take that engine apart and bring it back to life. Took care of my transmission issues as well. Nothing they can t handle. Plus they don t nickel and dime you.

Been going here since I moved to the neighborhood. Yastrik and his guys are amazing! Always know what needs to be done now and will advise on what can wait. No haggle for the price and always timely. I've found my home shop

Great mechanics , very knowledgeable on European vehicles, had an issue with my Mercedes and they were able to diagnose it and fix the issue .got the job done on a timely manner with the right price . Highly recommend if u drive a foreign vehicle . A+++

The guys did my valve stem seals and valley pan on my bmw 7 series and they did a great job for a low price. Im so happy with the job they did.

This is the best car mechanic shop ever and the owner is my uncle he is very hard working and who ever doesn't like this place they are jealous he is the best car mechanic in Staten Island and u guys should come and see he s shop he will fix your car and make it better than ever

I went there on a Sunday morning at 8am. It was an emergency situation and they weren't open. It states 8 to 6 on sunday. No answer on phone either. Disappointed.

This dealership is very good the people are very good and hard working they will fix your car and you will never regret going there they And when ever they see your car they know exactly what's wrong and they will fix it you should go to the shop if you need to fix your car they will help you
