My Subaru outback died wouldn't recognize the key and steering column locked. I took it to 12 Volt Doctor on the advice of a friend. Being that it was a weekend I was initially told it will take a few days for them to get to it. But Monday I got a call that all is fixed, they expeditiously diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Very happy with the service.

Dropped off a vehicle to them after hearing some good things about them but it was a disaster from the very next day after dropping off my car for repairs, I came in for something minor and they ended up taking my interior apart and never put back together and a bunch of missing parts now and no one taking accountability for it. STAY AWAY

Great service, staff very nice if your mechanic can t figure it out what s wrong with your car this is the place to find out what s the problem.Don t get scare to see many high end cars in the lot these guys are very reasonable with their prices

Just picked up our car. From start to finish, this was the most wonderful and stress free experience. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Work was impeccable. Highly recommend 12 Volt Doctor!

WARNING THIS PLACE ITS NOT AS IT USED BE,THE OWNER(Russian nice guy)ITS TOO BUSY WORKING ON LAMBO AND BUGATTI,SINCE HE DOESNT HAVE EMPLOYEES HE S HIRING THIRD PARTY ELECTRICIAN FROM OUTSIDE THAT DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO BLOWING BIG NUNBERS ON THE INVOICE WITHOUT DOING ANY FIXING CAUSING MORE DAMAGING BLAMING TO YOUR ORIGINAL ISSUE STAY AWAY THIS PLACE ITS A GOLD DIGGER

PLEASE STAY AWAY! THIS COMPANY LOVES TO PLAY GAMES WITH THERE CLIENTS AND WERE THE STUPID ONES! THERE ALWAYS RIGHT AND WERE WRONG HOLDING PEOPLES PROPERTY HOSTAGE FOR A YEAR PLUS AND GETTING NOTHING DONE AFTER MAKING PAYMENT WHEN DROPPING OFF THE VEHICLES PLEASE STAY AWAY

I walked in and asked if they can find a parasitic draw for a 2000 Mustang. They were kind but they said they dont service cars in 2000 anymore. I guess the Dr left the building.

12 Volt Doctor has a great team of auto body staff. I had to use this shop 2 years ago when a tree fell on the roof of my SUV and the service and work they provided was wonderful. I recommend this shop is you ever have a accident and need professional body work done on your vehicle.

12 Volt folks are the real deal! My car had a total electrical meltdown and needed MAJOR electrical work after an accident from months prior that was not repaired properly by another company. Not only did 12 Volt Dr fix it completely, but they were able to prove to insurance that it was related to the accident and saved me THOUSANDS! I can't tell you what a relief that was, and they couldn't have been easier to deal with. Samantha spoke to the adjuster multiple times, had him come to the site, called me and updated me along the way. I didn't have to lift a finger. Great great service. We will be back. I brought my car here after having multiple battery issues. Every couple months I would not be able to start my car . Also sometimes it would get screen flashes . I went to 2 other shops on island and they could not figure out the problem or said it seemed fine to them. After 2 days at volt doctor car was fixed and haven t had a problem since. Definitely recommend.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

This amazing place is managed by two amazing people, Lewis and Samantha. Their crew of technicians is also fantastic. This crew was able to fix a subtle stability problem that I was having with my 2002 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. The repair process required two trips to the shop: on the first trip I left my car with them and on the second trip I waited at the shop while they attended to the remainder of the work (a defective harness that had to be replaced, the defect not being apparent during their first attempt to fix the problem). Both of these two trips involved my taking public transportation: the first from their shop to my home and the second from my home to their shop, with each trip taking about two and a half hours. Lewis and Samantha were sympathetic to me about this situation, but as it turned out they did much more than express sympathy. On my second trip the crew worked three hours to fix the remaining problem while I waited. When it came time to pay, Lewis just shook my hand and told me that the second phase of the work was free. I've never received such kindness from a business! If there is a more proficient and gracious auto shop on this planet I have yet to find it. That said, I won't be looking: this place is the best!

When I called them to ask about how long does it take to diagnostic a problem in the car, they (Mr Leuis) said 2 days. I dropped the car and it took them 8 days to diagnostic the car for something else but not for what I took the car for. So - they wasted my time and money and did not solve my problem. Completely waste of time and money. If there would be negative rating I would do it right away.Definitely would not recommend

Very good place to go to. When no one else can find the issue. They can solve ANYTHING. a pretty reasonable price considering the quality. But yes. They are highly regarded. So they are very busy. Be prepared to wait. But it's worth the wait they have all the factory equipment for exotic or regular cars

This location is a terrible place to have you're vehicle operated on. I've been to this location multiple times on different occasions for service needed and have explained in a sequence what I can afford to fix. The diagnostic fee is pushed foward to pull data to find out what service is needed. The unprofessionalism about the corrective action has always been just get rid of it while a few of the employees all just laugh and ask what model is it rather than actually helping a customer. I wouldn't recommend this location. It's unfortunate that other locations with the equipment they possess aren't around else where to show a customer how to be satisfied and accommodated in the customers financial means.

Courteous and empathetic to customers needs. I had an exceptionally comfortable customer service experience, especially with Lewis, I called at the very end of the work day at one point within the exchange and he went the extra mile by working outside of the "regular business hours" to resolve my issue instead of just instructing me to try again tomorrow morning. They can have my business anytime!

I have been informed by Moe (65th street auto) that this place is the best of the best. I normally deal with 65th audio in bayridge. I dont like going to new places but my friend (Moe) says that you guys are the best for my truck issues. I trust my friend at 65th street auto & for him to turn down business & direct it to an other place, this place must be great. I will & shall bring my truck here. Only put one star because I haven't been there yet. Stay tuned for update.

12 Volt are Super ProsWill trust my car's life with Oleg.Was informed by a big body shop on the Island that he is the best there is for anything mechanical, electrical, you name it, as I needed extensive suspension work on my Audi, so hoping he wasn't too expensive, I went.For a great price (trust me) I now have a new-feeling car and a place to go with any problem. And he won't sell you what you don't need.Great friendly staff, super work and honesty. Priceless.

I have used the 12 Volt Doctor when my son totaled his car, the service from the mechanics and the staff was second to none. Since then they have been my only mechanic for all my cars needs. No job is to big or to small. The owner took the time to meet with me and explain everything to me in my terms. Friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable, very hard to find all of that in one!! Thank you 12 Volt Doctor!!!

Hands down the best service department I have ever seen! I was referred to this place by family members so happy they referred me. I had ruined my beautiful BMW B7 where I thought it was not fixable now is actually running better than ever if you give them your time and patience they will resolve your problem owner even called me to follow up on how my car was doing after the service!! Thank you guys for your hard work it is appreciated!!

Took my 7yr old (off of warranty) AUDI RS5 to Oleg for new Tires/rims/overall checkup of car etc... My rims were slightly bent and a bit chewed up and i wanted new rims etc.... I asked Oleg to give the car an overall diagnostics overview (fluid/filters/whatever) and do "whatever was needed"..... he called me a day later to tell me the rims were not bent, and in decent shape and suggested powder coating them instead of buying new ones... he saved me a TON of money and the rims look AWESOME... when i asked what work the car needed (he had an open invite to do ANY work the car needed)... he proceeded to tell me i needed new wipers, and an oil change and EVERYTHING else was fine. He has won my trust (and my entire family's) time and time again. Its not easy to find a GOOD and HONEST mechanic that you can trust 100% i recommend them to everyone i know. Thank you Oleg and Crew

Great people!....If you need your vehicle diagnosed properly and fixed the first time, This is the place to go. From everyday daily drivers to exotic cars they know how to repair them all. When you go there you can see the boxes for the parts from the original manufacturer (no Chinese junk here).

I have a BMW with a warranty. I called 12 volt and, a mechanic said to bring it by and drop it off and they ll settle it with the warranty. I brought it on Friday last week. I get no follow up Monday. I received a call Thursday almost a week later saying the car had an issue and the warranty will NOT cover it. I called the warranty and they stated NO CLAIM EXISTED! They never contacted the warranty. I called the shop back which the receptionist said she was not responsible for filing a claim and to do so would add an additional clerical fee . They charged $174 for a diagnosis which BMW would have done with full diagnosis for all engine parts, and possible codes. They are not honest and out to waste your money. I paid $60 for tolls to travel to the car from NJ. LIARS DO NOT GO HERE!
