This place used to be amazing.... now they are scamming everyone. I got a quote for almost $800 for tires for a 2016 Corolla. $500/$550 at Midas\Mavis. Because I refuse the quote he failed my inspection without even looking at the car. Personally, I know my brake light is out......the reason he listed......the bolts on my tires not fasten I don't know if they are being pressured by the owner but a lot of shops are scamming now. Just go to a big Brand Auto Shop, at least you will get warranty.

Definitely stay away from this place. I went to their auto repair shop for an DMV inspection. While my car was still parked outside in the same spot, the individual behind the counter told me I needed new brakes in order to pass the inspection and the price would be $900. They never even looked at the vehicle, put if on the left or removed the tire. I told them no, they still changed me for the inspection and I went somewhere else and they passed me. Predatory business at its finest. Go elsewhere.

This place has the worst service and just takes your money. I went in for an inspection 6 months after the tinted window law was passed and in effect- and passed. I go in the following year and they fail my inspection. I asked why did it pass last year with the law in place and failed this year with the same law in place and everyone has a confused look on there face with an insufficient response. They provide Unprofessional services and no explanation that is valid enough to support it. It s either you follow the rules or you don t with DMV not when you feel like it. This explains why most of their reviews are negative. I did not ask to be passed. I asked for a reason I m told it was a mistake but it wasn t a mistake to take my money. Then when asked for a receipt from the previous service they give you attitude. Don t be mad at the customer for your mistakes. Be consistent with your service. Obviously what you guys are doing is illegal. I did NOT asked to be passed. I asked WHY was it passed last year when nothing has changed.

Hi all. That place is the worst and dishonest place I have ever seen.I bought 3 used tires the first time I drove with the new tires I had a problem so I went back to them and they claimed they have to do a tire alignment so they charged me again but the problems kept on coming so I checked the tire size and I realized that they sold me 2 different sizes so I went back again and firts they tried to deny that they sold me 3 tires but after the invoice was printed was verified that they did sold me 3 so their apology was "sorry I dont have another tire the same size so the only option is I can give u a brand new for $150.Please listen to me and don't use them cus u'll be 1 day in the same position as meADDITIONAL: now I see his response this guy is the worst and dishonest guy I have ever met first he denied that smaller tire is from him now he claims they told me b4. That's absolutely not true they never mentioned a word about that to me b4Also claims he offered me money back. Also a big lie the only offer he had for me was a new tore for full priceAlso claims he didn't aligned my tire. If that's true y was I charged $30 for 2 tires alignment?Bottom line what u guys can see is that he will do what ever he wants and will deny everything in ur face so please dont use that guyNow he's come back with another list of stories I'm not here to argue with u I should rather report u to DMV they should do the work for me I'm just trying to save other people

My alignment wasn t done properly, went back to get it properly done and they tried to charge me. I laughed because I wasn t going to pay again for something that wasn t done right , so check ya employees when they work. Time is money , should of been done properly the first time.

I was traveling from Philadelphia Pa to Williamstown Massachusetts when my car, with several hundred thousand miles on it, broke a CV joint on my right front axle rendering the vehicle inoperable. It broke pulling into the first rest stop on 87, entering NY.I google searched "auto repair near me" and found Dutch Auto Repairs. Jose answered the phone, explained how to legally tow a vehicle off of NY State Thruway, told me he would order the part and have it waiting for me and get me back on the road as soon as possible. I broke down at Noon and was back on the road at 4:00 PM. That includes the call to the state police, towing and repairs. I knew this repair was coming and was looking for time to do it. I had already priced everything out at home. Jose's price came in slightly cheaper. I was nobody from out of state and this place treated me very well and fairly. I highly recommend this shop.PS I'm an ASE certified master mechanic with L1 certification (Diagnostics). I worked as a flat rate mechanic in several dealerships, owned my own repair shop for 30 years (like this one), sold it and opened a mobile diagnostic auto service, (thus all the miles on my car)David Benbow

Horrible experience! Don't go to that place unless you don't mind throwing away your money! I needed a rear rim to be replaced. They told me it would cost me $120 for the rim + tax + labor. I went to dealership and it cost me $65 thats including tax and labor. In addition, I received $15 back from dealership for bringing in a core rim. The owner at Dutch and Auto services told me "If you don't have the money now, you can come back later." I am a Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner, so money was not the issue. It's the fact that they tried to take advantage by overcharging me, on top of being unprofessional. I do not recomend this place. Go to Mavis in Nanuet, they are very helpful, professional and inexpensive.

They fixed the car as promised. Polite service.Only point of contention is they told us towing would be 75$, but after they towed us price rose to 95$ because "the employee made a mistake".

These people think that seeing an unfamiliar face means they can take advantage of us, charging us whatever they feel like. What was supposed to be a simple inspection turned out to be such an ordeal! $37 for an inspection, great. Tints are too dark, okay I'll peel them off right now so it can pass. Dutch Auto claims that it is LAW to charge $10 to redo the inspection and not only that but if they don't remove our tints themselves (which costs $80) "it doesn't count." What does that even MEAN!? So they would have to charge us yet another $37 to reinspect. According to NYS DMV, "If your vehicle is not removed from the station that does the original inspection, and the problems are corrected at that station, then you will not be charged any re-inspection fees." SCAMMERS. Be wary of this place, if they want to scam us for a buck imagine what else they're capable of.

I went there in june of 2018 to fix a flat. The guy told me its $140 mean time it is $80 in Amazon. He got upset that I know my game and did not wanna sell tire at all. I said i will by for $100 still no. Next day i went back there to ask the owner ...turned out the previous guy was talkinh about me and the atupid owner did not seem to care . BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE.......I could not belive the owners attitude....PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THESE LOW CLASS PLACE

They were great. Came right when they opened on a Monday morning needing an annual inspection. Took about 10 minutes - great service. In and out. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.

I bought two new tires at Dutch Auto and had them placed on the car. They kept going flat, resulting in 4 AAA visits to fill up the flat tires. I went back to Dutch Auto twice to verify what the problem is. I was told that I had damaged the tires and they would not replace them, that the warranty would not apply. I went to another place to check out the situation and was told that Dutch auto had never put the tires on right, that they had failed to clean and seal them on the rims. I will never go back to Dutch auto.

Scammers trying to charge 300$ besides the checking fee, I went to a friend who knows and he fixed it in less that 5 minutes and didnt buy nothing. Gotta be someone that protect the costumer this kind of "business " taking your money

Staff including mamager have no custimer services. If you like to be treated badly while spending you money this is the place you should go. I will not recommended this shop to anyone at all not even my worse enemies.

Hello every one my name is jack I have had the privilege of being one of the many victims that have bin taken for a fool by this garage these people are very dishonest they have bin working on my car and every time the price has gone higher they fix one thing and breake another to keep you coming back don't be fooled by the fake kindness thats how they gain your trust then when you think they are the best the scam kicks in and they take you to the bank. So if your in the habit of being taken by these scamers by all means do our town of spring valley a big favor and don't be taken by dutch auto help take business like this out of spring valley.. I also did my inspection there and was charged $95 dollars to change a light bulb and still didn't pass inspection remember once they bring in your car to check whats wrong with it its a 40 dollar charge and if you don't pay they keep your car think about it the scam is that they don't even tell you about the fee till your car is up on the lift .....horrible people thank god I found a good honest mechanic near by that help me on my way ......... yes you are there for 20 years but many people that live in Spring Valley are new people they don t know your business tactics but once they get to know you and find out how crooked you really are they never go to again your place should be close down and you should never be allowed to do business anywhere

Very cool staff that have helped with with auto repairs when I was over charged with a quote by other companies. They also have services to resolve matters with DMV for updating registration etc

Hi guys. Please never never go to this place , the people who work there very unpleasant, They took money from us a lot.And not fixed the car. That terrible place and people! I m never beck there never never!!! Horrible and terrible!!! I m very angry!! Please never go there!!!!!

The service is terrible employee was very sarcastic my car is a fairly new and just the there for a oil change and came back to a list of things there mechanic said my car needed the main one being an oil pump they said mine went bad I was in shock they made me pay for the oil change so I did I took my car to sears and they told me there was nothing wrong with the pump I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT GARAGE AGAIN........

I was here to do inspection for insurance company. They did nice and professional job. Most important is they open on weekend.

I came in to make an inspection they charged me and it failed to back brake pads which I could change myself for $30 dollars but they charged me $120 for it and they charged me $30 to take off tint from my back windows (which BTW was very light) he wanted $20 more to wash it with windex I told I could do it myself the guy in the office had a very bad attitudeBecause of that I will probably never step foot in this place o have a fleet of 8 trucks and I will never take it to them

The worst I have ever seenI gave in my car they saw that it has tint and they still did inspection and charged me and then told me I have to remove tint and redo inspection why couldn t they tell me to remove tint before doing inspection
