I've been a resident of Spencerport for over 30 years, and have been driving for 40+ years. While I do most of my own automotive work, Hartfiel's has been my go to shop when I have a repair that is beyond my troubleshooting/skill/tool capabilities. Ron Sr & Ron Jr have been great mechanics for me, and my extended family. From tire repairs to front end work, engine repairs to axle replacements, they have always been friendly, trustworthy & honest. I got scammed by a few shops in my youth, and that is never an issue at Hartfiel's. I highly recommend them to do a thorough and top notch repair on automotive repairs. Great people and great work ethic!

Auto tire repair. I needed a tire put back on my rim. I went to 3 other shops before stopping here. They all said leave it and we will have it done next day. Ron took my tire and rim and immediately got to work. He was done in less than 5 min. Great guy, excellent service! I highly recommend this business.

Paid them six hundred dollars to get my coolant system fixed...first time I drove it more than ten miles,it overheats,spraying coolant all over...I'm out six hundred bucks...they refuse to refund anything...liars ,cheats and thieves..my car still has every problem it had when I took it in there...absolute incompetence

Integrity, honesty, professionalism, work ethic and highest quality of workmanship are all words to describe this business. I have been bringing my cars to them for over a decade. They have always resolved the issues from the smallest problems to major ones, every single time and their price is always fair. I don t know of another business of any kind that I can say that about. I will not bring my cars anywhere else. I recommend them to everyone. Honesty, fair pricing and the highest quality are their core values.

My family has been using this shop for all our cars for over 10 years now. Ron Sr and Ron Jr are the most honest & skilled mechanics around, we have never had any issues.They've gotten me out of a jam on many occasions, will recommend to anyone.

The most reliable and honest work around! I have been taking my car here for several years now and have never been disappointed in their quality services and fair prices. Extremely reasonable and affordable, I will always bring my business here. I highly recommend their services and I am very glad they were recommended to me! All around great people!

There aren't enough good things I can say about this place. My family and I have been taking our cars here for as long as I can remember, it has to be at least a decade if not more. I've also gotten friends to come and they've loved the experience. Every price quote I've ever gotten has been incredibly fair and well below anywhere else I know of. They are also incredibly honest, both in their assessments of work that vehicles need and how they treat customers. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer or harder working pair of guys!

If I could give a lower score I would. He took advantage of the situation that I was in. My alternator went bad and the price was minimum $100 more than any other shop. He spoke about how great the rebuilt alternator was and I m not going to have any problems with it but came with no warranty. (I believe any good mechanic shop will have a decent warranty to stand by their work) I had my alternator replaced two years prior by my brother in law and they got the alternator from the same company. Unfortunately my brother in law wasn t available to help me out. I knew I had a warranty with the one that went bad. I asked the guy for my alternator and he said he couldn t give it to me. I asked why not and he said he would have to charge me for it! I don t know what to even say about that... He charged me close to an hour more in labor than the other shops I called. He also said I needed an oil change (which was true) and I couldn t take it without having it done. I told him to just put oil in it since he couldn t give me an exact price about how much it would cost. I only had him do the work because by the time I could get someone else to do the job, it would cost the same price since I had a rental van I was paying for. I took it there because I read all the great reviews but now believe he had family and friends post those for him. Just beware if you decide to take your vehicle there.

I originally chose them because I could walk there from my house and I m glad I did! I had to get my car towed and they were able to offer some reasonably priced towing services! They were able to tell me what was wrong with my car that same day and it was fixed the next. I hate trying to find a garage that won t scam me, but they ended up being really great, honest, and helpful. They not only fixed my car and managed to get it running again, but they stayed open late just so I could come and get my car after work.

Very nice, small garage in a beautiful neighborhood. I was buying a used vehicle nearby and called here after googling garages in the area. Wanted to have them take a look at the vehicle before I bought it. Turns out, they offer a used car inspection for $50. Great idea. It took about 30 minutes and they gave me a detailed overview of the vehicles condition. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Best repair shop I've been to in a long time. Found this place we I lived in Spencerport, moved to Kendall, but still take my vehicles here.Very honest mechanics that do their absolute best to take care of every customer.
