Definitely worth stopping for food on the go. We arrived a little before 8pm. It s a market that is part of a gas station. They have a steady stream of customers coming from the deli section. They have a large selection of deli food. No pizza left and probably a good thing as they are kept in a glass case on the counter. We were curious about the soup and chili but were too tired to inquire. We opted for 2 subs, a hamburger and grilled chicken sandwich. We were lucky as they closed the grill after us. The subs were fresh and generously portioned. We thought $12.99 each was a bit pricey until we got the subs they re like 2 large sandwiches. The hamburger was made exactly as we asked plain. The grilled chicken was prepared well. Don t get me wrong this isn t gourmet food but it s solid deli food. The staff was very nice and we were happy to find a good place to eat.

I've been coming here for 10 years and never had horrible pizza. Unfortunately the way the are making their pizza is not worth the money now. Very thin crust. They need their old cooks back. Hopefully next time they will be better. Always enjoyed going there.

The store is clean and well kept. They have interesting little do dads. However, we were on our motorcycle so we stopped to grab a bite to eat while we checked to see if the rain was going to stop. There were two young men at the deli one seemed like he might just be a quiet kid, the one with ear buds in acted like we had bothered him by existing. I wouldn t say he was outright rude but there was definitely zero feeling of welcome. My husband ordered a burger and I ordered a fried chicken sandwich. I get the sandwich, which is literally just the sandwich, for $10.99 and to my disbelief it was a frozen processed chicken patty that they threw in the fryer. The onions were on the fresh side, I had to take off the shredded lettuce as it was wilted, and of course lacking the cheese I had requested. It was tasty sure but not worth $11.I will say if you are a regular it seems as though you are welcomed with open arms. I will purposely avoid this store going forward.

We stopped here for a sandwich, sub and snacks on the 4th. They were so friendly and the sandwich and sub were delicious. Had to add that I've been here 3 times now to get subs and they are absolutely fantastic every time. Doesn't matter how busy they are.

Lots of food and drink inside the pizza and calzones looked really good. Gas a bit expensive but the only one in town.

Our first stop here was out of necessity--we had a long drive and badly needed fuel. While there, we decided to grab sandwiches and were pleasantly surprised. Now we plan a stop there while traveling and it's a welcome stop indeed. We've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch at the picnic table and my only complaint is not seeing a moose. :-)

So I only get through Speculator once or twice a year, but this is arguably the best place to stop; HOWEVER, they make the best chicken fingers I have had anywhere, period. Always fried to perfection and oh-so-good!

Happy to find this little place open. It was late I was lower on fuel than I should have been. They had a restroom and snacks. Prices seemed average for a tourist area.

Stopped for a sandwich and was not disappointed. Fresh rolls, generous portions, freshly cooked bacon and friendly staff. Outdoor tables a bonus. Perfect lunch stop.

You cant even imagine how nice and high quality is the food. You can t guess from the building sight but the food quality and the price matches very well. I loved that place definitely visit again. We ordered filly steak sandwich and we loved it.

Cute little gas station. Burgers & chicken sandwiches are good, as well as the fries.

THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR! I ordered two pizzas, a Buffalo chicken sandwich, and waffle fries...they all blew my mind! Inside the store they have a great selection of food and drinks; along with gadgets and stickers. I was super impressed with this place.

A good place to fuel up your automobile (in fact I think it's the only place in town that sells gas/diesel). The store is very clean and Adirondack like. The subs and pizza are spectacular and always hit the spot. They also have a good beverage selection as well. This will be my new one stop shop when I'm in town.

Camping in the area and needed a bite to eat. Staff there are super nice. I got a Greek salad and my wife got chicken tenders.

The deli churned out some good tasting sandwiches for our late lunch while the rest of the places in town were closed. Convenience store section also has a good selection of snacks, general goods and beer!

The subs and salads are very good. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals we bought there while the restaurants were closed for the "mud season." Favorites were the Greek and Garden salads with chicken.

Great place to break any road trip! They have gas, clean rest rooms, sandwiches and salads in the deli. The selection for the convenience store is great. They have local beers, chocolates, etc., along with the usual fair you would expect to see at a gas station market. The staff are friendly!

This place is great. Good selection and quality meats. But the last 2 times I went there is a girl working there that seems super miserable. Usually the fellas there are quite pleasant so this is new. I almost asked her if she was ok.

Great and very convenient place but one of the cashier's ( young guy with very red cheeks) could use a talking to by the owner. He seemed upset by the fact that my wife and I were speaking Spanish inside the store. His tone was condescending and somewhat aggressive. Other customers who were local did not have the same problem.

A quiet country store run by literal children. I Was a bit shocked to see $6 a gallon for super but it is the only gas station for miles after my brother-in-laws motorcycle broke down, I went in to ask for assistance or maybe a emergency tool box from the gas station. The child behind the counter with ear buds in did not understand the word Allen wrench so he went to get another high schooler, this circus continues until I asked for the owners who own the building next door I asked if they could call to locate a tool box as we were in distress and was given I , I guess? Fast forward the teens were of zero help and we left as they yelled we can t help you! Do yourself a favor and gas up before the adirondacks and if you need ANYTHING goto Charlie s store about 200ft past the gas station, they were beyond helpful.

Very impressive for a gas station! Their reuben sandwich was amazing. They have a special name for it but it s a classic reuben. My wife has the meatball pan sub and that was per delicious too.

Open 24 hours. Great selection of unique local products as well as staple pantry items. Cozy dine-in area and amiable staff with a sense of humor for someone sent in to buy everyone else's road trip snacks. They missed out on local honey, maple syrup, Bang energy drinks, and Saratoga Dark Russett kettle chips! I couldn't find any artificially sweetened iced tea so had to settle for the only totally unsweetened brand, Arizona Unsweet, for the diabetic in the group. Which at least they had that option instead of typical diet Pepsi, etc. They also had "absolutely no sugar" beef jerky which was pretty great! This little market has perfected the art of balancing "just enough" of exactly what you want with lots of what will work "in a pinch" and unique, adorable touristy gift items that most convenience stores fail at, especially out in the country. One of the highlights of my trip, especially when I have time for their awesome pizza!
