Great experience getting a flat tire replaced today. I called ahead to make sure they had the tire in stock which they did, and when I arrived a few minutes later I was warmly welcomed and they started servicing the car almost immediately. I only waited about an hour before driving off. They stored the donut and related equipment properly below the trunk floor, which was a nice surprise vs. experiences I've had at other places that left it all in the trunk. Would highly recommend for professional and timely service, as well as fair pricing.

I found myself in a tire crisis today, and I was lucky to be near this place, where people stepped in to help me immediately. They were incredibly kind and caring, and my tire was fixed in what felt like record time. Turned my whole day around!

I was helped by Tommy, Jerry, and Michael. All 3 went above and beyond to help me get my car back up and running quickly. They took extra time to find parts that were hard to find. They were super friendly and patient and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Michael has completely turned this operation around. What was once just another tire shop is now a trustworthy, well run business.Reasons why I will continue to buy tires from these fellas:Friendly atmosphere.Quick turnaround. (Ordered tires and they were in the shop the next day, and also installed within an hour. (More like 45 min). Amazing.Pricing on point and competitive.Clean and friendly waiting room.Thanks guys.Ps that Challenger RT Shaker outside is beautiful

Didn't want to leave a review but I am unable to get a hold of them on the phone, it just goes to voicemail. I originally brought in wheels and new tires to be swapped. They put the tires on and balanced them but after I picked them up, I noticed they used outside wheel weights, instead of ones on the inside like when I brought them in. They go on an older car with hubcaps so when I eventually went to put the hubcaps on they would not fit. I brought the wheels back, with the hubcaps this time, some months later and had them rebalance with proper inside weights. They charged me for this and said it was very difficult and took 2 hours of work. I figured ok maybe I should have brought it in sooner after the incorrect weights were installed. This week I notice a loud sound coming from the rear of the car. When I popped the hub cap off, 3 of the lug nuts were completely loose and 2 were just barley holding on. I noticed the reason they were coming loose is because all 5 lugs were put on backwards. It could have been very very dangerous thank god I noticed the sound before the wheel came all the way off.Not only did I pay twice for something that should have been done properly the first time, but I was driving around for a long while with backwards lug-nuts on one of my wheels.I wanted to try and fix the situation and I'm sure they are busy but I cannot get a hold of anyone, called in the morning and multiple times in the afternoon, always voicemail.

The place to go for tire repairs & new tires. They aim to please. Fair prices & they get the job done ASAP. Have used them several times. The place is a dump, so don t plan to wait there.

I have to agree with the previous review from Sam. I have been coming here for tires forever. I sat there for 2 hours the other day waiting for my car to be inspected and watching the goings on. Jay with the ponytail is the backbone of that shop without a doubt and takes it seriously. Harrison did little except dart around in and out of the office like he had too much caffeine and not really wanting to be there except to collect the money and schmooze. I miss Al. He was a fair man and to the point. The work got done right the first time.

Courteous, professional team and a rapid repair. Waited less than an hour today for them to diagnose and patch our tire, at a very, very reasonable cost.

Soo, our Range Rover dealership sent us to Southampton Tire Center to get an inspection because the Range Rover has been overwhelmed with broken cars. We had one tire with a plug -- there was a hole and the responding emergency guy just plugged it up. Southampton Tire told us that to renew our inspection, we had to replace tires, which we agreed to. They called us shortly after to say that they did not have the lower-priced tires in the shop, but they will replace ours with the same brand as we had on, but at a lower cost, to which we again agreed. They charged us about $700 after about 1 hour and returned our car with the inspection sticker. We were shocked to discover that they did NOT change the tire with the plug (and by extension probably changed NO tires!). We tried to get American Express to give us a refund, but the shop refused to refund. That's one expensive inspection! We used to looove Carol and it's so sad that this place is now a disaster.

This place has gone downhill fast since Al was running it. I brought my vehicles there for over 30 years. They have the best prices on tires but lately every time I get any kind of mechanical work done something either isn't done that I asked to be done or is done shoddily. The only guy working there who seems to care about anything is the guy who has been working there the longest with the pony tail. He was Als right hand man and Al obviously rubbed off on him. The other yes man who seems to run the show now with the tats and the smile is useless.

Very knowledgeable & great quality work. They are always busy & for good reason. You won t be greeted when you walk in & chances are strong that you will have to wait to be helped. Have patience going in & know it will take some time but they will do a great job at a fair price. This native Texan highly recommends.

We waited 2 1/2 hrs to repair a leaking tire that they installed 2 weeks prior. Upon arrival I was told there are a few cars ahead of me with no mention of a long wait time. When I checked back an hour and half later I received the same response. I asked how much longer and was told we close in an hour. I asked what does that mean for me and my tire?Honestly the service has always been unfriendly (for sport) and they act like they are doing you a favor. I would prefer to pay triple to get faster and friendlier service.I ve been bringing my car here for years and it s time to look elsewhere. I am sure they won t miss my $40.

After a horrible experience with Riverhead Mavis Tire two days ago(1/9/21)I visited Southampton Tire today and was pleasantly surprised at the great customer service and very reasonable pricing. I hadn t been back in years due to the rude customer service and inflated pricing from previous management. New management is still family but a pleasure to deal with. I will not hesitate to be back in spring for new tires.Thank you for a great experience.

The fact that they sell and install tires at reasonable prices is overshadowed by the fact that the staff is quite rude and unhelpful. Too busy for their own good -- act like they are doing us a favor just by answering the phone. Received car back with black fingerprints on light gray interior and a screw missing from my key fob cover -- now loose. Would rather pay more for better service.

GREAT SERVICEI was is a bad situation with a flat tire and the dealer had the tire but couldn tdo the installation.Call the staff at Southampton Tire and they got me fixed immediately.Best experience ever.Thank youRobert

My family s been customers of Southampton Tire for as long as I can remember (40+years) - they are THE BEST! Their highly seasoned team is extremely knowledgeable with nothing short of astonishing depth of domain expertise seeming to span every make and model of the auto industry. Trustworthy and fair, the service level at Southampton Tire has always exceeded our expectiations - yesterday s visit proved no exception! If you value honesty, affordability and family owned businesses with a local legacy of being good people, this place is for you. Plan to leave your car there, especially on a summer/weekend, they get busy.Thank you for fitting me in on the day of, for recommending to repair rather than overcharging on something new my car didn t need, and for the genuine smiles, STC team!

Southampton Tire Center offers everything you would need and expect from a tire shop:-competitive prices (prices was lower than Costco and another shop in SH)-maintains a large inventory of tires so that you do not have to wait a day for tires to be ordered (no other shop in the area had tires for my SUV in stock)-is direct about the estimate to complete service-immediately rectifies any problems (I left and the valve stem was bad; I returned and they fixed it immediately)-CAVEAT: this is a high volume dealer; you will wait in line; you will not receive service with a smile; these are hard working folks who have no interest in your stories or complaints; if you need a hug, go someplace more expensive because hugs aren't ever free.

Stopped in sat at 1230. Place was packed. Guys name was Jay I hope. I said I drove from coram. I am not driving home on a donut. Could you take a look?. Walked to Tates. Called at 1. Paycheck and done. Excellent service.

I have been to them many times over the years. Always a great price on tires. Also when I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee I brought it to them for repairs. Always professional and fair.Recently I brought in a car 2007 Toyota Camry that had been looked at by 2 other repair places. They had come up with $4000 of necessary repairs, and also that it needed new tires. Since I would rather buy tires from Southampton Tire and have them do any repairs, I brought the car over. Southampton Tire's assessment ( they did not charge me for looking at the car) was that I did not need new tires at all, that I had perfectly good all weather tires on the car and that none of the $4000 of repairs were necessary. All they found was a small leak in one of the tires at the hubcap. They told me "you have a very nice car there". $30.

This is the first review I ve ever posted, and I had to because I am so grateful for such an amazing, honest, and efficient business! Just got new tires yesterday and a tp sensor on my vehicle. While waiting and observing, I almost felt as if I was in a families home. It s rare to find such beautiful honesty in a shop. Especially on the east end. The prices were the best I ve found. I am so thankful that I was told (by numerous ppl) to go to South Hampton tires. Thank you all so much!

This use to be my goto spot for tires. Id call and give my tire spec and get a quote over the phone. Now I call and never get a call back. I left my number several times. I won't be dealing with this shop ever again.
