Im not one to write reviews but my experience at Hampton Oil Change was nothing short of a nightmare. I brought my Jeep Wrangler in for a quick oil change and quickly realized it was a mistake. Aside from the manager being extremely rude, arrogant, and pre occupied, the service I received was poor. I drove away, 45 minutes later, with a check engine light on (was not on prior to visit). Upon returning to Manhattan, my transmission started slipping. My auto shop in Manhattan asked if I had checked the transmission fluid lately and I stated I just had my oil changed at Hampton Oil Change and it should be full (according to my receipt, as it stated topped of transmission fluid). My mechanic checked the transmission fluid and it was bone dry, the transmission would have failed if I would have driven my wrangler any further than I already had. I cannot warn you enough about this place, they are rude/arrogant mechanics, do not care about their customers or their vehicles and will only cause problems with your vehicle. Stay away!

Tried for the first time, won t return. Do not trust anything they tell you. Showed me a picture of a cracked rim not even my car. Not only that treated me poorly rude and condescending.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Definitely used to take all vehicles here until recently my car started having oil light problems. No oil in car and oil filter not being changed at all!!! Had to take to another shop and my car oil had not been changed at all ! Now having car problems because I paid for services that were never rendered! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE! THEY DO NOT CHANGE YOUR OIL OR REPLACE YOUR OIL FILTER! Seems convenient in and out. Do not trust them whatsoever.Service: Oil change

I wish I knew who owns this company, because I would call them up and tell them their manager is probably $skimming from the till. I recently had an oil change, and it cost $108.82. Gave the guy $120 CASH, and he gives me back $1 and change. I say " I gave you $120", - and he sheepishly runs back and gets me my $10. I go home and happen to look at the receipt, and he's printed out on the receipt, "Amount Tendered: Cash $43.78, and MasterCard $68.84". I never gave him a Mastercard. Hey Boss! Check your receipts/do an audit....your manager is getting creative with the number$$$.Service: Oil change

Love these guys!! Excellent service, super quick, and the people that work there are super nice and informational. Gave me so many tips on my car model. Took less than 10 minutes. It s expensive but that s the hamptons. Highly recommend!

A reviewer said the mechanics were rude! That makes me think the reviewer is probably rude! I had the most pleasant experience there today!! The guys were all friendly, kidding around, and very professional! My oil change took 7 minutes and I wouldn t have minded if it took longer. Bryan was the guy I was talking to most and he was great! If you need service done professionally and with a smile, I recommend Hampton Oil Changer!Service: Oil change

If you need an oil change this is the place to go fast professional and friendly. Pull in wait not long dont have to get out of your vehicle. Maybe 15 minutes. Thank you Hampton oil change

I had been using this place for about four oil changes, always had a decent experience, and ALWAYS gave the guys a nice tip for an oil change. Went in there a couple of months ago, after I pulled into the bay, I heard the guy underneath complaining and crying that I had severe oil leaks all over, and was refusing to do the oil change. The guy who was up top, said the oil is full maybe somebody's filling it. ( I guess there is and oil fairy who comes at night and tops me off)Brought it into a mechanic and there is nothing wrong.The way they were making it sound my car wasn't even going to make it up the block after I left there. I parked in a brand new driveway and there is never a drip underneath my truck.Thanks for nothing.Terrible customer serviceService: Oil change

Not trust worthyFirst of all Matt told me it was $45 for a regular oil change for my vehicle and it ended up being $50 plus tax. I asked Matt again and he said oh no it's $50 after tax I said no, look, it's 50 before tax, and he just shrugged and walked away. They said they checked the fluids and I get home and I see that my overflow for my radiator fluid is not at minimum but completely bone dry. They said they were going to check my fluids and my tire pressure and they hand me the receipt before checking my tires and tell me I can just back out... I asked, "aren't they going to check my tires?" And they said "oh yeah" and then check my tires. I called up to let them know that Not only was my radiator fluid overflow empty completely but when I opened up my radiator after it cooled down, it was many inches from the top. The guy on the phone told me that the reservoir/overflow is supposed to be empty which is absolutely false because you can get air in the system and if there's not enough antifreeze in the system then you can have issues with pipes freezing(so I'm told). He told me there's absolutely no way to get antifreeze from the overflow back into the radiator, that's why it can be empty, which I'm being told by my friends who are mechanics that he is full of sh*t and lied to me "because I'm a woman and mechanics just take advantage when they can".While at the local auto parts store, *getting radiator fluid* I mentioned my issue and two other people came forward and told me how horrible they were at Hampton oil changer and what they did to their vehicles as well! Including leaking oil allll over the bottom of their car.. Do not go here - do not trust their quality. They tell you they will do things then don't... then lie about it when confronted. Thank God I know enough to double check! JerksService: Oil change

Crazy I was born and raised out here and never hit this place up. No long wait times which is Super LIT. Matt and Marcus were friendly, informative, honest and most importantly got the job done!

Very strange. I pulled in and asked if they do tire rotation. They said no lift. I said then do the line and filter. A lad filled tire to 40psi a little high but provides better mpg. The hood was lifted and the attendant said he has to use synthetic oil because the car required it. Price $98. I said no and left. I returned home and noticed two inch long deep gouges like a key job on the driver s side above the headlights. Owners manual specifies quaker state oil. Hmmm.

I went to Hampton Oil Changer for the first time recently and the day after they serviced my car for an oil change, I noticed a puddle of oil under my car about a foot long.I took my car to a lift and noticed they didn't tighten the drain plug properly. Definitely seemed too good to be true when they had me in and out in roughly 20 minutes.I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for an oil change.

Well I used to love the place. Good service and fast but, you might want to check oil filter they don't put brand new ones on. They leave the old one.This is the second time it happened. :-( PS won't be going there anymore.:-(

While the oil change it self was fast, waiting for the employees to finish their lunch so I could pay was absolutely ridiculous. Customer service is lacking here and the foul language used when a delivery was trying to be made was appalling. I will be seeking oil changes some where else from now on.

This was the first time going here. Since I was in the area I would get an oil change Service was ok and quick but it was to expensive and the worker sarcastic. Needless to say wont be going back there.

Service was ok. I was disappointed that there were no specific details about the oil choices. Standard or Synthetic were the 2 options. I asked about Standard and was told it was semi synthetic. The mechanics all need to go to charm school
