I recently bought a low mileage 2004 911 C4S Cab from Todd and the crew at Aventura and had an excellent experience. As this was my first time buying a used car, let alone a high performance one, Todd was extremely patient in working with me to answer a whole host of questions. The car just had some preventative work done with their Porsche specialist Seamus and the car is now running better than ever!

Recently purchased this 1950 Ford Custom Convertible from Aventura Motors in New York. Very satisfied. Vehicle was exactly as described. Communication was fantastic. I never write reviews but I must share that my experience at Aventura Motors was not only absolutely extraordinary but also educational. No question of mine was too trivial and all the work performed on my car was absolute perfection. The nicest, kindest, most passionate and knowledgable people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Todd's advice was invaluable and, at this point, whatever het tells me my car needs I just do.

I own a beautiful 1964 Mercedes 220SE convertible. The car has never been mechanically restored and I wanted to invest in making the car safe and reliable to drive. I called 5 different Mercedes restoration companies along the east coast and Aventura Motors was the most upfront about the restoration timeline, potential budget pricing and the process of who would be working on my car. My contact at Aventura Motors was Todd Silvera, who is the founding and managing partner. Todd is very courteous, accessible and knowledgeable about 1960s Mercedes. He knew exactly what needed to be done to my car and how to do it. I made a restoration spreadsheet and Todd modified it for me, so I would know what to expect to pay. Essentially, Todd took the motor out and shipped it Metric Motors in LA, he took the dashboard apart and sent the wood to be refinished by a specialist in California, he replaced engine mounts, battery cables, vacuum lines, hoses, fuel and brake lines and he performed other cosmetic projects like sandblasting the rims and painting the hubcaps, wet-sanding the paint, replacing the upholstery, door and window seals and converting the AC unit. My initial restoration budget was about $68,000 and in the end I believe the entire project cost $80,000, which was $22,000 for parts, $50,000 for labor and $8000 in taxes. Todd was upfront about his labor costs because his shop is located in South Hampton, New York, which has an extremely high cost of living. He told me that other restoration companies would be charging 30 to 40% less for labor because of where they were located. But at the same time he offered to take my car within 4 months of our initial conversation and he said the project would take 10 months, which is did. Other shops had a two to three year waiting list. I shipped my car to Aventura motors in August of 2021 and the car was returned to Kentucky in May of 2022. We did talk about my car s paintjob once Todd had the car in his shop and he basically talked me out of repainting my car. Todd said to repaint the car correctly, the car needs to be sanded down to bare metal, and unless I am going to be entering car shows, then there is no reason to spend $30+k on painting the car correctly with Glasurit paint. I did make a trip to Long Island to drive the car in April of 2022 and to review the work that had been done. Todd and I spent about three hours together and we reviewed the spreadsheet, invoicing and workmanship. I am detail oriented person and I highlighted a lot of things on my car that needed to be addressed, and Todd made a list and fixed everything. On a scale of one to a hundred, I would rate my project s outcome as a 94. In regards to my interactions with Todd and Aventura Motors, I would rate my experience as a 96/100. There were a few hiccups during the project and even when the car was delivered to Kentucky and Todd always made things right. I bought my car for $47k in 2006 and I now have $127-130K in it. I am not sure of the car s current fair market value, but to have a 59 year old Mercedes fire right up and safely drive like a brand new car is a dream come true and is money well spent. I now enjoy and drive my car more than I ever had and I feel confident that I will have many, many years of safe and reliable driving. I would highly recommend Aventura Motors and Todd Silvera to anybody who is interested in restoring a classic Mercedes Benz.

I have a 1987 Mercedes 560SL and found Aventura Motors from the list of recommended installers on the GAHH upholstery website. I brought the car over and Todd Silvera drove it and went over it with me, and since then Aventura has done a lot mechanical and cosmetic work. I've been very impressed with Todd's straight forward communication and the quality of the work performed, am relieved to have a trustworthy shop for service going forward, and highly recommend Aventura Motors.

Purchased a Jeep Wrangler TJ from Aventura Motors over the summer. Great experience on a used vehicle purchased sight unseen. Dean properly represented the consigned vehicle which was almost 2 decades old. It did need a few minor items on arrival, but the expense of the repairs was less than I had mentally budgeted. Aventura also coordinated shipping and the vehicle arrived timely. While the vehicle I purchased is not as upscale as much of their elite inventory, I would not hesitate to recommend Aventura or purchase from them again in the future. Biggest takeaway for me is even though I purchased one of the least expensive vehicles on their lot, they treated me with respect and were detail oriented throughout the transaction. Thanks again!

Todd's service is the best i have ever seen in the business. He tends to deliver AHEAD of schedule, and his fees are incredibly reasonable. Seamus is an amazing Porsche mechanic. They are all a pleasure to work with. Can't recommend Aventura enough.

I drive an old Mini Cooper which is incredibly difficult to service in Eastern LI. Despite not being a Mini dealer, Aventura has been so incredibly helpful with diagnosing and fixing the problems with my older car and taking it in on such short notice. They even gave my car a free cleaning! Everyone working here is incredibly kind too and I am so grateful for all of their help!

I had an absolute amazing experience with Aventura Motors during a recent vehicle purchase. I saw their listing online and the price was fantastic. After a short conversation I put a deposit on the vehicle, site unseen and the anxiety began. They were very professional and there wasn t a missed step. The car was exactly as describe. Been a customer of Aventura for years. Great service. Dean, Todd and Hiram have been awesome to work with. They do an incredible job with restorations and mechanical work. Very knowledgeable and meticulous. Great place to store a car, esp over the winter as well. Also, the shop is a incredible to walk through if looking for your dream antique car! Go check it out!

I bought a MB 280SL 12 years ago and I have been thrilled with the car ever since. I have it regularly serviced at Aventura and they are great people to work with. Knowledgeable and friendly. But my car has been so good that I rarely need much maintenance.

Courteous, Knowledgeable and easy to deal with Aventura. I worked primarily with Todd, but also had occasion to meet his brother Dean a couple of times. They were helpful, followed up, and the vehicle I bought was as-advertised. Couldn't be happier with both it, and the experience.
