I recently had a frustrating and disappointing experience with Smith Tire Corp, which has left me questioning their professionalism and organizational skills. Upon ordering a tire that I urgently needed, I received a call the next day informing me that my tire was ready for installation. Given my busy schedule, I communicated clearly that I would make time the following morning specifically for this, rearranging my plans to accommodate their schedule.However, upon my arrival, I was met with a bewildering lack of preparation: the tire had not even arrived at the shop. What's more frustrating is that there was no attempt to communicate this significant delay to me beforehand. Had I been informed, I could have saved valuable time and avoided canceling important plans.This experience highlights a severe deficiency in this shops communication and organizational practices. Customers' time is valuable, and we rely on businesses to provide accurate information, especially when it comes to essential services like vehicle maintenance. The failure to notify me of the delay not only caused unnecessary inconvenience but also demonstrated a lack of respect for my time.In today's competitive market, such oversights can severely impact customer trust and loyalty. It is imperative for this shop to recognize the importance of clear, timely communication and to implement better organizational strategies to prevent such issues from recurring. Customers should not have to manage their expectations around a business's convenience but rather feel assured that their needs will be met with efficiency and professionalism.I hope my feedback serves as a constructive call to action for this shop to improve their service standards. Until then, I will be hesitant to return or recommend their services, as I believe no one should have to experience such avoidable frustration.

Came in for a wobbly steering wheel while driving between 55-70mph. I assumed it was a front wheel alignment issue because the wheels SHOULD HAVE been balanced when we got new tires (at a different shop).James was super friendly, relaxed, and talked through the symptoms and what it could possibly be. He recommended that he checks the balance, just to make sure because it s a cheaper solution. He said the symptoms sound like a tire weight imbalance. He was absolutely correct & saved our time and money!!While he was working I was able to watch the car and we talked about our mutual interest in cars. Quick & solid service, personality, and very convenient. I was in and out in less than an hour. James is a solid mechanic! Well-deserved 5.0 rated shop.

I just moved to the area and found myself with a blown tire near Goodyear. The young man who helped me was kind, courteous, and took his time to show me the sliced side wall. He found me a replacement tire comperable to the other 3tires on my car for an affordable price. He ordered the new tire and had it delivered within 2 hours. I left the car and when I returned to pick it up, they topped off my windshield washer fluid on the car and offered to fill the washer fluid on the vehicle I drove back with! I highly recommend this establishment for tires!

Hello just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Smith Tire Corp! This shop is a hidden gem located right before U-Haul on Smithtown Bypass, in Smithtown. The staff was friendly & quick. Their pricing is also more than reasonable. I ll definitely be back next time the truck needs service!

I work next door to Smith Tire Corp and they always make the visit a pleasure. My tire was leaking air when I arrived. Steve and Maggie are friendly and extremely helpful. They patched me up and I was on my way. They have also helped me out with my other tire needs as well as brakes and rotors. The prices are right as well as the customer service!!!

My truck desperately needed tires and the tire size I needed was a bit of a challenge to find but not here. Spoke to Steven on the phone and he helped me pick out the right tires for my truck and budget. They were fairly priced and they had them in stock! When I dropped off my truck James helped me and assured me everything would be perfect and it was. He also let me know that they do other stuff on cars as well, oil changes, brakes etc. I will definitely be back when my truck is due for an oil change and other services. Thanks for the wonderful service!!!! I would definitely recommend you to all my friends and family.

Awesome people and great pricing. Service is unmatched!! Thank you Steve for getting us out the door quickly with the best price on a new set of tires. They were waiting for me as soon as I got there today and we were super comfortable in the waiting room for the small amount of time Steve had us there. Highly recommend. A true family friendly small business.

Saved me a headache. Google said they closed at 7 showed up at 5:55 and they actually close at 6. Took my car in for a patch and was done in 10 mins. BJ s told me it would take 2 hrs to do a patch and turned me down because they d be closing by the time they got done. This place is going to be my go to now for my car maintenance.

The quality and service is absolutely unbeatable!! The owner Steve was very quick to help & I had no prior appointment. One of the workers name was Kyle & he was very helpful with explaining my options. I left very happy with new tires, rotors, &brakes !!!

I stopped in without an appointment for a flat tire repair for my Tesla. Steve took my car in immediately and fixed the tire within a half hour. Very nice to deal with, made the process so simple!

I recently noticed how badly my tires were getting so I called over to SmithTire and everyone was super helpful. They had a few different options for me to order from. I dropped my car off the next day and took a quick walk for some lunch. I came back happy to see my new shoes. I can absolutely feel the difference with my new tires. The owner Steve has certainly won my business, ill be back in a month or two for my oil change and brake replacement.

Great people and great prices!!!! Top shelf service the owner is very efficient and will take great care of you. I was very pleased with the prices & service, will absolutely recommend and be back in the future. New set of tires, oil change, & brakes all done & a flat fixed on my other vehicle. Staff are all personable and friendly they go above and beyond.

My girlfriend and I just moved to LI and needed to find a mechanic. We came across Smith Tire Corp and gave them a shot. The day after we contacted them we got the breaks done on her BMW, and oil changes on both of our cars. The customer service was phenomenal, and very quick for the work getting done. The pricing was also very fair, especially after what we'd been quoted by BMW for her breaks prior to the move. A month later and both cars are running fantastically. Ask for Steven.

Some of the most personable people I ve ever met. Steve was so excellent at explaining all of the technical issues with my car to me, I didn t feel intimidated at all as a woman going in solo which is so rare to feel. Definitely coming back from now on, highly recommend!
