Overcharging for parts and services at 200-300%4 Tires exchange went from 100$ to 485$ only for 2 TPMS sensors at double of their own online price with reprogramming fee of 175$ (5 minutes of work).It was too late to take car back as it was in the process.Also, needed door handle for my Sienna and was told it will be 600$ - same part online from this dealership is 189$.I do understand cost of running business, but charging customers 200-300% of market price is pure greed. Not to say that service hourly rate is ridiculous That s why dealerships getting called stealerships Everything else is fine It makes sense to use them only for covered services - otherwise it is rip off!

I needed service on my 2020 Toyota Camry. Two rear tires, tire rotation and alignment with oil change. All day service they informed me despite having 8:30 am. Appt.Think I had to donate a kidney to pay for that service!!. Only kidding, Canceling that service and went to Tires City in Centreach. Same service but saved $300!! I get to keep my kidney.

Took my car in for an oil change on 9/18/23 and afterwards the hood no longer latched safely closed. When I drove it back to them less than two days later, they said they would fix it, after special ordering the part and getting me in over a week later (obviously super unsafe to drive around with a car hood semi-unlatched). Took it to another Toyota dealership and they said both the latch and the cable were broken (Smithtown said the cable was fine when they checked) and now it s going to cost me $600+ to get something fixed that was never an issue until I took it to Smithtown for routine service. Really sad, because the service department here used to be really on top of things.Edit: Both the Service Department and the Customer Relations department contacted me following this incident. They did talk to the Service Department on not allowing unsafe vehicles back on the road, but said the hatch breaking was due to 'wear and tear' and that the cable was not broken (even though the other dealership said it was broken in conjunction with the hatch and showed me the broken parts). Neither of these staff examined the vehicle when it had returned on 9/21/23, so they are basing the 'wear and tear' on a hypothesis. They said I could come back to have them look at the vehicle/to discuss in person, but why would I take additional time off work and drive an hour to have them look at a repair already completed and continue to have them say they weren't responsible for the latch breaking? I was offered a free oil change...less than 10% monetary value of the repair bill I just paid. Also, why would I return for an oil change when an oil change was the reason I suddenly had a huge repair?

Recently had both of my cars in for NYS inspections and oil changes. The wait was reasonable and the free car wash was a bonus. They covered the steering wheel and seat and the employees all had face masks.

I am so mad I'm never going back there again. I took my car in for an oil change on Saturday 05/27/2023 and now I have a clicking noise whenever I brake. I called and spoke to two people at the service center and they both said that if they find a problem and they're going to charge me to fix it even though they're the ones that caused the problem. I never had any clicking noise before I brought in my car for an oil change. I'm never ever going there again. beware!!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Great service center. They have the main building and then they have another service center just west of it which has plenty of space for waiting room and excellent service. Thanks Ms. Ramirez for the great assistance.

Quick service. Main service waiting room is small. Good communication confirming appointments. Express is very large with big parking lot.

Terrible service. Never bring your car here.I brought my car Smithtown Toyota for front passenger interior ventilation noise today. They hold the car whole day, charged me $ 220 for labor and air filter change, $ 160 for diagnostic. They have just changed air filter, and turned off the front ventilation stating no more noise and advising me if noise reoccurs to change the motor. As soon as, I sat in the car and started front ventilation noise appeared.I have never had this kind of treatment in any repair shop. Unbelievable.

Went in for overdue recalls. Dropped off my car. They were organized & knew I was coming. Was out the door in 5 minutes. Staff was really nice and friendly. Had answers for all my questions. Even though they close at 5pm the parking lot is accessible until 7pm. Recommend this location for any Toyota driver.

I've only been twice, getting express service on my new Toyota. It was an easy experience, quick in and out as you should have an appt. First time you go for a new car service remember to bring your registration inside.

My reason for the low 2 star rating is solely based on trust. I have been to the service department previously and all went well; even utilized a coupon for an oil change. However today I called to inquire about the cost for spark plug replacement service on my Toyota and was quoted $299 which is substantially lower than my original quote last week when I made the service appt. Last week I was told $550 by a female service advisor and $299 today by a male advisor. How can I trust Smithtown Service Department if they are not consistent with pricing?Service: General repairs & maintenance

Good workers, good price for oil change.1 Problem, No good to wait the oil change on the winter, they not turn the heat on, on the waiting room is freezing.this is horrible for anyone who works there!

Jessica in the service department was phenomenal in getting our car serviced as quickly as possible, and securing a service loaner so we weren't inconvenienced waiting for the work to be completed. Thank you for your commitment to customer service!

I've had a few issues with my Tacoma, and finally got the time to bring it in to the dealer today. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of choosing Smithtown Toyota to perform the diagnosis.All starts fine, and I drop the truck off at 8:30 and get a call around 2pm stating that they were not able to recreate the issues I brought up and offered to have the service manager come for a ride to see for himself, I accepted the offer.During the test drive, the main reason for my visit (front driver seat shifting/"popping" while turning) presented itself and I had the service manager drive to feel the issue for himself. Initially the manager stated that "squeaky leather" was the cause of the noise, but soon after stated that he felt the issue stating that "it's coming from under the seat". His solution to both problems? Armor all the leather... Even after agreeing that the complaint was identified as a faulty driver seat, and showing him that I do indeed condition my leather regularly (at which point I pulled out my leather conditioner from the rear door cup holder to show him) he stated "well it's 4pm I can't do anything for you" and said there's nothing he could do.All of this on a truck with 19,000 miles and well within warranty.As a former automotive service tech, I would have never treated a customer with such carelessness and disregard, especially with a driver seat issue as any faulty parts directly pertain to the safety of the driver and passengers. I will be launching a complaint with Toyota Corporate for sure.Save your time and money on these unprofessional, careless hacks and go to a real service center for any issues you may have.

I have invested in Toyota's since I started driving 17 years ago and they have never steered me in the wrong direction.I've gone to other car dealerships and owned other cars, I've made my share of mistakes and learned... THIS is the place to get a reliable car, without any cheap gimmicks.If you want to buy a car make sure to do your research, be prepared to ask questions, and go with someone you trust.Perfect cars for hand-me-downs AND high resale value...

I used to be very happy with these guys. Bought our last Rav4 there. Was in a week ago to buy a 2022 Tacoma. They want $5,000 over MSRP for it! Now I'll just wait for the F-150 lightning.

Bought oil for my Toyota cars. Disapointed to find they had no 0-W16 oil to sell only 0-W20. They did honor previous pricing for oil. Had get 0-W16 from Amazon at a somewhat higher price.
