Went in for a routine tire rotation. The service is always friendly and quick wait time estimate is always accurate (and sometimes even quicker than promised!). Ive purchased tires here, had brakes changed, inspection, oil and cabin filter changes. Never a problem and always fairly priced.

Scheduled an appointment for my NYS Inspection the night before and was able to get an appt right way the next morning. Mavis had my inspection done in 1 hour, despite having a busy day. Would recommend them for all car services

Bruno, Larry, and the friendly folks at Mavis on Main Street in Smithtown are great.I brought my Rogue to them this morning for a battery check because it was sounding weak at start-up.They diagnosed within 20 minutes and gave me a great deal on the replacement battery.They also gave the car a thorough inspection and found I needed rear brakes. There was no pressure to get the work done today, but I will be back in a few weeks because I trust them.I also got four new tires, an alignment, and a synthetic oil change back in November and got a great deal with no hiccups.I will be returning to this Mavis for all of my Rogue's needs. They have absolutely earned my trust!

Had a great experience at Mavis @ 222 W Main St. and Brooksite Drive in Smithown. Came in with a flat, but I knew the tires were borderline. Larry looked at the tires and told me the same thing. It was nice that he confirmed what I had thought and didn't just push me into buying a new set of tires. Not having time to do all kinds of research on tires, we chose the Mavis / Hankook "Traction Control" tires they had in stock. The price was very reasonable and the tires ride nicely. Maybe a '"click" softer than the original Michelin tires, but a nice change anyway. I always like to put good tires on the cars and these drive really well, even on ice and wet roads.The staff are very polite and they got me in and out quickly and I couldn't be happier. The tech even put my spare and all the stuff away from when I changed the flat tire earlier. Highly recommend!

I brought my wife's car to Mavis for a set of four new tires and a wheel alignment.A couple of days later, my wife and I drive to Mavis to pick up her car as Mavis told us it was ready.As my wife drives off the lot, she notices the car is pulling to the right on the way home. So we called Mavis back, and they asked us to bring the car back in, which we did the next day.We were told they would look at the car in the morning and call us. The morning goes by, and we hear nothing. I called late in the afternoon, and someone told me they tried to align the car two times, and the issue is being caused by one of the motor mounts.This is completely bizarre to me as one has nothing to do with the other. So, I called Mavis customer support, who put me in touch with the Mavis regional team. They took a look at the car and said the struts needed replacing. There is an issue with one of the motor mounts, but that has nothing to do with the alignment. I'm told that someone from the Mavis Smithtown location will call me in the morning to provide pricing.So again, morning comes and goes with no phone call, so I called them in the afternoon. Now I'm being told the issue is possibly with the tires, so they are ordering new ones.Fast forward a few more days, and I call Mavis and am told the new tires did help, but I'd still need to change the struts.Mavis did give me a very good deal on the struts, so we had them done, and now the car aligns perfectly. The whole process took about a week and a half from start to finish.Overall, I am happy with the work done. I think communication between the store and the customer can be improved.

I went to mavis because my tire pressure was low turns out I had a nail in my tire luckily they were nice enough to squeeze me in on a sunday

Bruno and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Waiting area is clean and comfortable with TV to watch while you wait. Wait time is minimal and they do their best to get you out as quickly as possible. No sales pressure at all. They will recommend what you need but not push you to get it done. Highly recommend.

Bruno is a profesional mechanic and knows not only how to fix cars he also knows about customers service. Bruno s and his staff have been working on my vehicles for a couple of years and I have been recommending a few close friends to go there not only to take care of their car issues but to experience how is to find an honest person that his only goal is to do his job.Awesome place I have 5 carsAll of them go to Bruno.Thanks guys :).

Mavis Discount Tire in Smithtown was an amazing experience. I had an almost flat tire and came across their name as I was pouring gas at the gas station next to them. They heard my problem took my keys and repaired my tire in a timely manner. They also recommended what needs to be done with my car. I highly recommend them if you re in need of any services or needs for your vehicle. Thank you so much for making my day less stressful!!

Thank you, Bruno and everyone at Smithtown Mavis for taking good care of my car! As a woman, l am always nervous when my car gets serviced because they know l don t know anything about cars. But l always feel the price is fair and the work is done right. Highly recommend!

They plugged a tire that had a nail for $27.50 which is kinda on the high side but then my tire pressure read 25. I told them it was low the manager said drive on it and it will go up trust me 110 percent. I drove around and it remained 25. Came back and filled it and told him try not to be so condescending. He then came up to my car and said se the machine says 37, yes but the car indicated 25. He kept insisting i was wrong and he continued his arrogance. Very frustrating!!!

I brought them my car for a simple state inspection. They took 6+ hours and never called me once it was ready. To add to that they never actually did the inspection and let me leave without mentioning it at all. If I hadn t checked the sticker I wouldn t have known at all. Would not recommend coming here for even the simplest of service.

I've brought my Jeep, and my girlfriend's car car here several times (over the last year), and both Larry and Bruno have been wonderful to us; very patient, very friendly, and knowledgeable, dealing with many suspension & tire problems (mainly my girlfriend's car). Great, friendly service !

Larry and his crew did a great job. I purchased the insurance when I replaced my tires. Totally worth the money. This is the second time I ve gone back for my tires to be plugged from nails. 10/10 experience glad these guys are there
