They were absolutely great. I went in for a headlight change that turned into a bigger project than we thought. They were super professional, and got the job done quickly and correctly. They even filled up my tires for me! I d definitely recommend them to anyone!

I was very pleased that when my daughter s check engine light came on today she went to Mickeys. She lives in Sleepy Hollow and after reading the online reviews I recommended she take her car there. ( I m on Long Island ) My daughter said the gentleman behind the counter was very polite and professional. They took her car in right away and called her within two hours with a diagnosis. The car needs a new catalytic converter, which is a big expense but not if you have a trusted mechanic which my daughter said she feels comfortable saying. Her car will be ready tomorrow and I m sure the work will exceed her expectations.Thank you.Tim HempflingPS quick dad questionIs there a warranty on the new catalytic converter ?

I ve been using this place since moving to the area in 2020 and I ve always had a great experience getting my car fixed and looked at. The people are very friendly and were able to find issues with my vehicle and replace parts as needed in a timely fashion. Highly recommend

The crew at Mickey s took my work vehicle with with no lead time when I suddenly had a day when I could do without my truck. This isn t the first time they have helped me out line this. I really appreciate their flexibility and eagerness to work with the client s schedule.And the work and attention to detail is always top quality. In this case one of the jobs was to replace a failed headlight. But they went beyond and checked all lights. They found that the center cab mounted breaklight was also out and took care of it for me.This is a really good garage.Service: General repairs & maintenance

After years of service received very bad diagnostic recently car intermittently stalling after last service and a new problem only after picking it up.. leaving me with an car that shuts down (limp mode)and not working it was either misdiagnosed with a good engine in my Autovitals reports or damage sustained after its last service repair so disappointing used to be more thorough and accurate but I m back on the back of a flatbed Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Vehicle safety inspection, Brake service & repair

*WOMEN BEWARE* I m new to the area and my check engine light came on, so I took it here because of a friend recommendation. My car is very old with a lot of miles on it, I know it needs more work but right now I can only focus on urgent things like the check engine light. While I appreciate how thorough they were in checking my car, the check engine diagnostic turned out to be one bad ignition coil. Number 6 which is right in front, easy to get too. I just wanted the one coil replaced and fixed. They tried to upsell me on additional coils/spark plugs and continued to tell me it was a coil in the back which required more labor. A simple google search of the diagnostic code would tell me that s not true. They quoted me $700 to replace ONE ignition coil. As a young women I felt like I was being taken advantage of for my obvious lack of knowledge on cars. Good thing my father is a mechanic (not in the area) so I asked for his opinion. I ended up going to a different mechanic who fixed the same check engine problem for less than $200. I m sure they do very good work here, but as a women it s very frustrating to be treated like that. I advise other women to avoid bringing their car here.

Update!We still love Mickey's! They are the most pleasant people to work with and continue to be fair and honest. Mostly recently we took our car in for a tune-up for a long trip and they had us road-ready in no time. Thank you so much!We love Mickey's! We have been using them since we moved to Tarrytown in 2017 and they are our go-to mechanic. They are dependable and honest and fairly priced. Mickey and his team are the absolute best. Have been using them for years and wouldn t trust my Acura or my spouses Lexus to anyone else.
