Brought my 1932 Ford roadster in for a tune up, oil and filter change, brake fluid flush and brake light repair. Frank and his crew did a fantastic job! VIP service for a fair price. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable, these guys are the best!

This is my go-to mechanic for all of my vehicle's needs. Very honest and reliable with an amazing staff. Finally, a mechanic that puts the needs of their customers above everything else. They are very accommodating and are happy to quote recommended work without the pressure tactics to make you do the work right away if it's not necessary. I HIGHLY recommend this business!

Brought my car into CARS today because I had a Xenon headlight out. I had purchased a replacement and had it on hand. Frank not only took me in on short notice, but had the whole thing done in 10 minutes. He also charged me a very fair fee. I'll be back. I had a terrible experience today and will no longer go their for service. I went for a simple inspection and oil change on a 4 year old vehicle. I was told unless I spent $600 for new brakes, my vehicle would fail and my current inspection sticker would be removed. I refused and paid $231.82 for an oil change and failed inspection charge and got my car out of there. I took the car down the road and it was promptly inspected. They charged me $10. While I have been a customer there for more than 10 years, I can say as of today I will NEVER go there again. Nor should you unless you want them to upsell you like crazy every time you go in there and pay a fortune for simple services. And ask for Frank, the owner's son. He's the one to fool you and rob you blind. Maybe Frank will realize, losing a long term customer over an extra $600 sale maybe doesn't make good business sense.

This review is long overdue! Frank has been literally the best mechanic ever. His knowledge and speedy service is impeccable. He is very clear and does an amazing job at explaining the issue and has very fair pricing. Don t think twice to come here! My Ford Fusion has never been better!

I do not usually write reviews, however I thought Frank and his crew needed to get highly praised! It was my first time going to his shop because I needed a new mechanic local to where I work. I read the reviews that others had given him and went to CARS! And I do not regret it at all! Frank was not only courteous, but very knowledgeable and excellent at explaining what needed to be done. The project took a little more time than he thought and stayed late to complete the job for me!! I appreciate all that he did, and stayed true to his estimate! My car now runs quietly and smoothly!!! And I will head back there again and again!!

Found a big nail embedded in my Jeep tire and decided to stop here to see if they could plug it for me. Not only did they quickly remove and plug it, but the service manager Frank was kind and professional. I had visited a shop a few doors down and one of the employees told me to go find a mechanic to speak to inside. The mechanics didn't seem to want to be bothered, so I took off and I'm glad I did because Frank and his team took care of the job quickly and efficiently. Thank you C.A.R.S.!Service: Tires

This place is the best. They are honest, smart, and the service is great. Frank and his team are always so helpful. They ve been watching over my car for about a year now and I m so thankful for their help. Definitely consider this place if you need help with your car. Highly recommended.

My cars have been serviced at CARS for more than 20 years. In all that time, the cars have been well cared for and maintained thanks to the excellent service I have received. I have never broken down on the road due to the preventive maintenance that has been done.Frank is always pleasant, caring and competent. I highly recommend CARS~!

I had a nail in my tire and needed a tire plug quick. They squeezed me in for a day-of appointment and were able to repair my tire in about 15 mins. Staff was very nice and professional. I will definitely be back the next time my car needs a repair.

The service that C.A.R.S. has provided me has always been excellent. Each time I take my car in, the staff is friendly and honest with me about what needs to be done with my car, especially when it comes to my tires. If I have any questions, they always do a great job explaining anything to me in simple terms or even showing me. Thanks to everyone here!

That place is HORRIBLE! They are a bunch of crooks! They tried to bang me $500 for rear breaks on my Ford Sedan. I declined service and picked up my car.I went some where else and got the same service done for less than $150. Never again will I go there. They will rob you blind if you let them.Look at all the other reviews on this page. 95% of them say the same thing. they are a RIP OFF!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!

Great service from Frank. He repaired the hole in my tire and had it back on my car within 15 mins. He even put the spare tire away for me. I was thoroughly impressive and would recommend this place to anyone.

Very friendly staff. Had to have my car inspected and got new brakes on the recommendation of the tech. Very satisfied over all. I'm definitely using these guys again in the future.

Have been meaning to write a review for a couple of weeks. When our family was passing through Tarrytown on our way home to NYC, a belt slipped, etc. etc. chaos... We pulled into CARS and even though they had a full schedule, an employee came right out to look at it. He explained what he saw, replaced the belt so that we could get it back to our mechanic in the city, and was helpful and delightful in every possible way. We wish we had just left our car with him to do all of the repairs. Lucky people who live around Tarrytown and have a mechanic like this to rely on!Service: Engine repair

I want to say "Thank You"! to Frank at Cars Sleepy Hollow for blowing my mind this morning..... I went in for an oil change as per my dashboard's dummy wrench light. Frank looked at my online chart, checked my miles since my last oil change, and told me to my surprise, "you don't need to change your oil now, you have another 3,000 since you use synthetic oil". WHAT?? Wow... ok, so I asked if he would do a tire rotation, and he said, "you don't need that done yet either, you've only driven 4,000 miles since the last tire rotation. ....OK. So he filled my washer fluid for me, at no charge and sent me on my way. So touched by his honesty and professionalism and grateful to know that we have a small business to serve our cars here in Sleepy Hollow that puts the customer first. Thank you Frank, you made my day :-).

I had tried to get some plastic rivets replaced on a trim panel on my vehicle at my dealership and they said $75 for labor for a sub-5 min job. I called here asking to borrow their rivet gun and they showed me how to use it and everything for free! Great friendly staff! Glad I came!

Needed my turn signal looked at. Helped me figure out that it might be covered under warranty instead of just doing the job and charging me. referred me to the dealership. That is what I'd hope every mechanic would do. That is why I will always bring my car here first because I can trust this group to do what is right
