Mistakenly given the wrong oil filter and the gentleman at this store arranged to get the right one delivered to my house as I had drained my oil and couldn t get there, all done within 30 minutes. This is legitimate great customer service and it s refreshing these days, thank you. I plan on writing a nice email to your corporate about it.

I visited the advanced auto in mastic/Shirley and was impressed at how the woman were more helpful then anything. There seems to be more females and I was helped by a woman who I think manages the store. She not only helped take my break lights off She found the issue which I had no idea about. Anywhere else I would have wasted money on things that wouldn't have helped me. They were great there and I'll always go back.

Bait and switch... Prices on shelf below products weren't what was rang up , employee stated it was labeled wrong at a $20.00 difference... brought another product up and was $10.00 over labeled price then he finally got up from his chair were he was talking with 2 other employees sitting by him by register and went to look only after showing him a picture and again said mislabeled and went back to sit down ... and didn't fix "mislabeled" products ... went across the street to auto Zone and made my purchase

Kathy, store GM, replaced my 3 month old battery which was acting up, with absolutely no fuss, no BS. And she did the replacement herself. I loved her spontaneous dedication to the rather novel (these days) idea of working to ensure a satisfied customer. Thank you Kathy and thanks to AAP for putting your store in in the hands of a very sane, friendly and extremely helpful person.

I would like to thank Jesse , am employee at the Shirley location for totally understanding my problem with a defective battery and replacing it for me. This meant the world to me. He took a lot of time to help me out and I just want to know how much it is appreciated!

I started going here after giving up on AutoZone for how terrible they were. You wait just as long here, if not longer. The people are rude. I went there to get a new battery, turns out they install new batteries free of charge "at their discretion" which is nowhere to be found on their giant signs advertising for this. It's only found on their website. They made up some BS about how changing the battery could fry my computer, pointing at my fuse box. I'd say only go here if you absolutely have to, and only need to pick up quick stuff like oil or wiper fluid. Otherwise, just order online. It's cheaper and less hassle

Hit or miss. Sometimes the employees are polite and helpful, sometimes they look like they hate their job. This place usually has everything I need in stock, however the patchogue store has more. Either way it's still better than the autozone across the road

Always helpful and knowledgeable. Great place for deals on oil. If you have time before a major repair you can definitely get parts cheaper online.

Ok prices but cheaper online with promo. Codes. I have found things online 40% cheaper the the store then added 20% off promo and selected pick up at store. Saved $60 on calipers....cheaper then the other online options.

I have found upon numerous visits that the reps are knowledgeable and attentive. Although, you may wait a bit, but not too long, for a rep to ask, how they help you.

They always seem to have what I need in stock even for a 17 year old vehicle. Prices are always good and there's plenty of parking and the staff is knowledgeable and quick to help.

Super helpful. They helped us find parts even when it wasn't easy. Other auto parts places simply said "sorry". These guys went the extra mile.

Great service knowledgeable staff which is unusual for parts stores lately I had a problem with the part and the manager Kathy took care of it instantly I will continue to go there because of the service and the attention given to me by the staff and the management

Staff very helpful I like it better than Auto Zone. If I needed help with my wiper blades they would help you with it and fluids for my car..very knowledgeable and friendly

Usually pretty good. When it comes to here and autozone I goto whoever has the better price which is often autozone.

There website says they have a part but when you get there and ask for that part, lol fat chance on getting it. Wait time 1 thru 2 days.

Decent place since I dropped auto zone in the area after they tell me they have parts then I go there and they don't..I hate having my time wasted
