Richard, Mark and the team at Village Automotive Center were our champions. While we were traveling, we blew a transmission line and were stranded. They have been wonderful to work with. Very knowledgeable and the entire staff is friendly. The repairs were made in very appropriate time, even for a Friday. I thank them and would recommend them in any situation.

They are wonderful! Quick, reasonably priced, and answered my questions. Rich did my taillights for me on my way to work! I will definitely go back for any other vehicular needs I have. In addition, the place was very clean, even the bathroom.

To replace a $50 and the $50 and a quarter oil by Bill was over $650 that's completely Ludacris that's taking advantage beyond belief I'll never go there again completely robbery it wouldn't take a kid that is just learning to fix a car move then two hours...ANYWAY I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THAT SHOP FOR AN OIL CHANGE NEVER MIND THAT YOU'RE GOING TO PUT AIR IN A TIRE I WOULDN'T EVEN RECOMMEND SOMEBODY I HATE TO GO THERE......So if you do remember what I said you going to see a bill that's real be gone beyond belief....

I have researched all the mechanics shops in Suffolk County for foreign car repair.I have tried a few of them but being a business owner myself totally not impressed at all... That is until I brought my car to this awesome place.. I was greeted by Mark who was knowledgeable and so helpful.Ken the mgr immediately sent me a text with all the points on my car . They called me and went over all the issues Then when they told me it was ready I had the pleasure to meet Rich the owner .What a refreshing feeling having my car serviced here as these guys are absolutely the very bestIf you want your car to have the very best care and price call them immediately for the best experience you have ever had

My wife and I have been bringing our cars to 3 Village for 25 years. Rich, Ken and, now, Mark provide excellent service, can't say enough good stuff about them. Years ago, my wife's car was just out of warranty and blew a head gasket. Rich diagnosed the problem but rather than just giving us an estimate for doing the work (which was very substantial) he suggested we contact the manufacturer rep to have them fix it since it was just beyond the warranty and shouldn't have happened. The manufacturer did the repair at no cost to us. Rich lost a big job but gained life long customers. Talk about honesty. Highly recommend 3 Village Automotive Center. They do great work at reasonable prices and even graciously put up with DIYers like me.

I am amazed at the way I was treated here! Being from NC my 08 Tahoe broke down and Richard DiMartino (owner) took me right in on a Friday to help. Extremely Grateful for his techs and he for being so accommodating, fair and reasonable. This is the place to go folks for incredible service from an amazing group of people!

I had a tire blowout on a local rd at 5:30 all other local repair shops were closed or did not want to help. Rich help repair tire at a great price and I was able to get to my tire shop to get a new tire . Can t thank Rich enough!!!Service: TiresService: Tires

I was told by my local mechanic that my 2008 Toyota was beyond their ability to fix it. The dreaded red triangle warning light was showing. I almost wrote it off and figured it was time to get a new car. The price of used cars has risen to over 40%. I decided to search for Toyota hybrid repair and Village Automotive Center came up. I figured why not give them a try. My car is now fixed and running beautifully. Rich, Ken and Mark are the best of the best and are solid people as well. I would not and will not hesitate to call them again. Thanks guys !!!!

Just got my daughter's MK6 VW GTI back from a timing job that I had attempted but wound up being more then the timing chain... Rich and his skilled team of mechanics didn't hesitate to take on the job when others wouldn't touch it, in fact- others wouldn't even touch it before I had attempted the job myself. End result is the car is back better than ever and I couldn't be more satisfied with it and the experience I had working with Rich. I'd definitely recommend their services to anyone in need- highly knowledgeable and professional every step of the way. Rich and his team are highly professional! I Had him do a safety check over my entire vehicle before a road trip. He gave me a thorough list of my vehicles issues and never pressured me into doing any work. We worked through what was important to keep the car going and what could wait for a later date.He has a very clean shop filled with friendly faces that remembered me by name after only meeting once, and most importantly gave a speedy repair that was affordable to keep a young college student on the road! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a honest mechanic in the area! This is the Place!

This was the first time I serviced my 06 Miata (oil change and fog light replacement) on LI and I'll definitely be coming back! Very professional and honest shop, with very fair rates and great communication. Ken explained and pointed out everything to me and I felt respected and more informed about my car's level of functioning leaving the shop. Definitely recommend for general maintenance and repairs if you're unsure of where to go :)Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

These men were so amazing! I came with my bumper hanging off my car and the bottom of my car was dragging as I was in a rush to the airport. They fixed me up in as little as 30 minutes and I was well on my way for such an affordable price. Trustworthy, helpful, and considerate of students. Will definitely be coming here again.

I have been going to Village automotive since 1998 and my then husband since 1990 at least.Without reservation I know them to be honest, professional and thorough. I have never been worried that I might be recommended to have work done unnecessarily. I know they stand behind their work and have come through every time. They tell me what needs to be done in the near future or down the line. They never push me for any work to be done.I will be frank, as far as their prices honestly I have no idea how they rank. But personally for me to trust my shop to do good work is paramount. I also have no doubt that they would not be more than marginally higher than others or they wouldn t be in business for so many decades. I ve referred them to many people and no one has been less than grateful. I would never take my car anywhere else! Thanks guys for jobs well done and the lift home!

Village Automotive Center is absolutely excellent. I m new to the area and have a very old but tough car that started having brake issues after my move. I spoke with Ken on the phone and he kindly fit me in at the end of the day on a Friday. As it turned out, my brakes and rotors were fine and didn t need repairs or replacement - the constant downpours in the past several days had just made them a bit funky. But they were so kind and helpful and in the end, they didn t charge me a cent for the diagnostic; they even checked out the car under the hood, looked at oil levels, AND put air in my tires. If you re looking for a place that goes above and beyond and makes sure you have peace of mind - Village Automotive Center is the place.

Good place, fair prices. The Threw Village crew maintain all if my older vehicles. I've never had an issue with any if their work is any if their prices. They call before making repairs and clearly guide you with regards to what's necessary and what's optional. Great family run place. Highly recommended.

Nice staff, was able to give me a ride to and from the shop while it was being inspected. My only negative comment was my car smells like cigarettes after your inspection. Didn t like the odor from the chain smoker. I m sure they are great mechanic but leaving a car smell like an ash tray isn t right.

Recently got an old but beautiful foreign convertible and sought an alternative to costly dealer repairs; the top just wouldn't go down! After a lot of research I found Village Auto and its impressive array of positive reviews. They were not wrong. Every step of the way I had professional, courteous conversations. As a marketing/business development pro, I'm very picky about these things. And, of course, the best part was the perfect outcome at reasonable cost: the top goes down! A few days ago, I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Village Automotive Center after my car battery died for the second time. Despite it being near their closing time, they urged me to come straight over and I'm so happy that I did. The customer service was phenomenal, Javier not only changed and cleaned the battery compartment extensively, but discovered my brake and interior light were out, saving me a potential ticket! They topped off my oil and washer fluid and allowed me to watch the process so I could learn it myself. I have never received such excellent service and their pricing was far more than reasonable. I'll certainly be a customer for years to come, and hope those reading give them a try! I promise you won't be disappointing.Thank you Javier and all the staff at Village Automotive!

I worked with Ken here and they were AWESOME! They showed themselves to be super honest and trustworthy. They worked on a 10 year old Honda Civic that I have, and in the scenario, many mechanics would have jumped on the opportunity to screw me over for some more money. They were fair, reasonable, and even prioritized my job given the specific situation. Village and Ken are the best!

If you're looking for Honesty, Professionalism, Integrity, Knowledgeable or just plain nice, looks no further than Village Automotive Center. The boys there maintain my 2 antique Cadillacs as well as my daily drivers. I truly do rest easy knowing they will take care of all my cars and stand behind their work. Places like this are very hard to find now days. I am lucky to know them. They offer shuttle service to and fro when you leave your vehicle for repair or regular maintenance. Careful though, the boys at the counter are so amiable, you'll want to hang out for a while.

Thoroughly explained issues with the car to my wife before working on it. Seems trustworthy. Prices overall lower than others. This place will be our new go-toUpdate 3/9/18:Can't say enough good things about these guys. Always polite and welcoming. They've had plenty of opportunities to take advantage of my wallet and haven't. Highly recommend this place

I have been using Village Automotive for a many many years, most likely since Rich (owner) started there. I have alway found them to be extremely helpful and reliable, and have come to trust them completely. Aside from my personal cars, they have serviced at one time or another, those of everyone else in my family. I have found that repairs are not advised unless absolutely necessary, and if an issue can be safely watched and reassessed later, they will advise that approach. On numerous occasions, I have called or just stopped in with a minor problem, and it is always taken care of right away. A ride to or from work or home is never a problem. The staff is polite, courteous, friendly and quite knowledgeable. Rich takes personal pride in the quality of the work done by everyone there. I recall once, one of my cars had a leak somewhere, with water puddling on the rear floor. After a thorough investigation, it was traced to the sunroof and fixed (thank goodness). Rich told me it was one of his more challenging fixes, and he was glad to have solved the problem, whcih never recurred. All in all, I have been extremely satisfied with the service here and can certainly recommend it highly.

I previously had okay experience with this shop. They were kind of friendly.....But, hey, don't go there if you have a Benz... I went there because of the engine light, they charged two grand, still the same code remains. Over the phone they confirmed to me that, if they change the camshaft solenoid and Spark plug and ignition, the code will go away. When I went there to pick up the car, it still has the same code, same problem. I have spent more than two grand to get nothing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Ever since moving to Long Island 3 years ago I have taken my car to Village Automotive to have work done on my cars. Both of my cars are older so they tend to require a work every now and then. The guys at Village Automotive are always honest, fair, and efficient. Whether it be a routine oil change or that last minute stop in because you hear a strange noise, they always manage to work you in to the schedule quickly. They are always pleasant and understand that you want the best value for your repair. I would highly recommend them for all your automotive needs.

Village Automotive is a very honest and dependable repair center. I thought my VW Touareg was beyond repair. Rich took great care to get my car back up and running at a cost far lower than I ever thought I would be paying.They are honest, extremely knowledgeable and on time with repairs. The final bill came in under the initial estimate! I could not be happier with my experience with Rich, Ken and the crew at Village Automotive. I will be recommending them to all my co-workers without hesitation.Very satisfied customer.

I used to worry a lot about my cars until 20 years ago, when I started bringing my cars to Village Automotive. My cars always run smoothly, they never do unnecessary repairs. This is a great auto repair. Richie and Ken are honest and great mechanics. They have saved me twenty years of auto worry.

The very best review I can give is, I can't think of any other automotive center that I would trust as much as I trust the ALL the folks at Village. Over the past four years they have earned my trust to the point that I freely recommend the Village to all my relatives and friends. For me this tells it all and truly like it is at Village.

A really top notch and professional automotive center with extremely friendly and reliable auto technicians.I dealt with a gentleman named Mike and another named Ken and had one of the best experiences I have ever had with an automotive shop. They are honest, professional and get down to business type of guys.Definitely recommend this place.
