I have been coming here for at least 8 years and have never had an issue. I have referred many people here over the years and I always had good things to say about Staria's; Until today. When I went I didn't see any familiar faces. I spoke to a really nasty gentleman with a attitude. I asked how long was the wait for an inspection because I called ahead and was told there was no line. I got there and there were people ahead that was fine.I said wow saying to my daughter there is three people ahead of us and that was when I was told to go somewhere else if I didn't want to wait . I have been there before and had to wait with 8 cars ahead of me so that wasn't my problem. My problem was not being treated with respect or kindness. I took my service where it's appreciated.

I had my inspection done here for a 2004 Honda Accord and it failed the inspection due to a weak battery, for other shops they charge you $35 for a failed inspection, but not for Staria. My car actually failed twice due to a bad battery and they just told me to buy a new battery and bring it back. These people are nice and honest, hard to find honest mechanics nowadays. Expensive and sloppy work. There is a reason why the manufacturer uses retaining clips and shielding for hoses and lines! You shouldn't just leave this off especially if you're charging a premium!

I never leave reviews but felt the need to because I had such a great experience here. Needed an inspection and was passed and out in literally 10 minutes.

I can't say thanks enough to Staria Automotive . They are truly incredible and honest. I have been told by 4 different mechanics including the dealer of Ford that I need a new transmission. My car has been down for months almost 14 months to be exact. I took it to a few different transmission shop ,dealer and other mechanics ,only to be told I need a new transmission. Staria transmission took a look at it and then send me over to Staria automotive. I was surprised with the news after their inspection. It turn out I didn't need a transmission after all. They save me alot, thank you guys so much . My car is a 2013 Ford escape for review purposes only.

Awesome service from the beginning! Always very nice when you call! they definitely take their time to make sure that their customers leave satisfied and I always do! I have gotten an oils change, rear brakes and pads on my car with 0 issues and all done at a great price! I will be bringing my car back for all future maintenance and repairs! My experience with Staria has been nothing but positive. Everyone who works there is extremely polite and patient. I've seen the kind of craziness they deal with while waiting for my car and I give them a ton of credit for how they handle it. Even when my car needed specialty work through a dealership, they were super helpful and accommodating with the towing process. Trustworthy, reliable, and prompt every time I've gone to them. I highly recommend them and I'm thankful they're my local shop.

The best repair shop on Long Island. You can trust that you won't get ripped off especially if you are a woman. Honest guys indeed. You will never beat their prices. Actually cheaper bc they want repeat customers. My mechanics for over 25 years! Paul the owner is a genuine human being. All Good Guys. They know how to handle Warranty & Insurance inspectors too. G0! You will be happy you did & for sure keep coming back.

I always get screwed because I'm a young woman who doesn't know cars. I truly feel comfortable and safe with them. They so far have not tried to steal from me or lied. They are 100% honest and good people. They very much try to work with you to make you happy. I been sending my friends and family to them and everyone has been enjoying this good old mom and pop. Always support small businesses. These are good hard working people and deserve our business.

We bring all our cars here. They are great at what they do! I highly recommend using this company. As a woman it is important to have a trustworthy mechanic. I wish there were negative stars that I could give. Rude and obnoxious people. Have zero sense as to how to talk to customers. never ever going there. I highly recommend to take your business elsewhere

What a great place. Honest and affordable. I trust them and trust that they will take care of everyone that I recommend. It s hard to find a mechanic that you can trust but they make it easy. Make sure you ask for Darrel or Paul. Great guys!

In a world of sketchy mechanics these guys rise above the rest. It was very clear they weren't trying to milk repairs for more money. They were also super helpful in regard to explaining what was going on with my car and ALL of my options. I highly recommend them.

This is my go to mechanic. As a woman, I never feel like they are trying to take advantage and sell me repairs I don't need. They are honest, reliable and excellent mechanics. You can be sure your vehicle is fixed correctly. Will go no place else.

I've been going to them for about 15 years (with two cars for ten of those years.) There was only one time that the problem wasn't fully fixed and they honored their repair. Fixed at no charge.I got a new car a few years back and was covered under the warranty until last year. I went to a place that was slightly more convenient to go to and regretted it.Took it to Staria. In and out with no problem.Four stars because the waiting room ain't so hot. Otherwise it would be five. I go out of my way to bring my car there now.

I have been a customer with Staria Automotive for over 25 years. I have found the owners to be fair and reasonable, and they get the job done quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending them, the repairs are done correctly and I find that my cars have been taken care of with expertise.

They fixed the wheel bearing on my car and now no more grinding noise and car rides super smooth. Pricing was reasonable and they even used the parts that I supplied.
