I bought a 15 year old Honda sedan from here 3 years ago and had a pretty decent experience overall. It was well priced, below KBB value and had 180k miles on it. No major problems with it. They told me multiple times that the driver's seat had adjustment issues and thus gave me an additional discount on the car, but other than being a little slow occasionally, I had no issues with the seat. However, the sunroof I was told was fine but it ended up getting stuck shortly after I bought it and I had to have it fixed. Buying it in the middle of winter, myself and DARS believed it was stuck because of the cold. It ended up being an unusual repair and took a few visits but DARS paid for the whole thing. I wonder now if they even made money off of the car to be honest. A little less than a year later the sunroof finally stopped working again and the only way to fix it was to replace the whole thing. It was genuinely a somewhat different issue with it, so I think more of a unfortunate situation overall. The car ran well otherwise like any old car you'd expect, so mechanically it was completely fine. They replaced one of the rear window switches before I bought it as well. DARS was easy to work with and were available when I needed to be there. They walked me through the process and had the car cleaned up before I bought it. They could have put the inspection sticker on a little more straight though.I owned it for a little less than 2 years, and other than issues I caused myself and the sunroof, the only problem I ever had was replacing an O2 sensor, so not too bad for a 15 year old car. While I owned it a couple shops told me that the car was mechanically in good condition for its age and looked pretty good on the underneath. It also burned oil a little, however this was a common issue with these Hondas once they got pretty old. I found adding some oil a couple thousand miles before the oil change avoided any issues. It ended up getting into a minor accident right around 199k miles and it wasn't worth the expense to repair it, so i sent it to the junkyard. The accident was unrelated to anything mechanically with the car I believe if it was never in an accident it could have gone much longer than the 199k.

I cannot express how thankful I am for Darlene and Darvin at Dars auto. They truly embody the caring for their customers and assuring the best experience possible. The we re very professional and friendly. They even offer different options or financing that made it possible for me to actually obtain my car with very little money. Thank you and I will be sure to send my friends and family your way!

I am very pleased with the service at Dars! As a first time car buyer, Dars made me feel secure in my purchase (2007 Honda Civic). If you are looking for a place that will help your daughter or son buy their first (used) car, Dars is the place to consider! They are fair, honest, and family oriented--which shows in their costumer service. I hope they continue to grow and show how great they can be!

After my TENTH trip to the mechanic with a DARS auto car I feel the need to revise my original review. Here is the list of all, so far, that is wrong with the car: broken emissions valve, broken evap cannister, rear brakes burning, circuit board for dome light broken, no key fob, gear shift light out, old battery, door lock broken which is throwing off the programming in the key fob. So the lesson here is caveat emptor. I probably wouldn't go back to DARS Auto. UPDATE: Just dropped $700 on a heater core and now my check engine light is on and my car is undrivable. NEVER GO TO DARS AUTO. UPDATE: $125 engine diagnostics + $425 replace VTEC solenoid + 3 $100 chemical engine flush/oil changes. DO NOT GO TO DARS.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! In less than 6 months my transmission was shot! They do not care about their customers or their reputation otherwise they would have offered some kind of help! Will NEVER recommend to ANYONE!
