I can t give this place a higher score. If I could, I absolutely would! I was seriously in trouble when my check engine light came on and my dealership along with all the dealerships in the area couldn t even look at my car for at least 3 weeks. I called Amsler s having never been there before and Jon got me in the day after I called. I was expecting it to be there for a week but they were able to diagnose and fix my vehicle which included replacing a part from a dealership and I picked it up the same evening after work. Not only did they fix it, they were all so professional, kind, and thorough I left there with a serious sense of trust and relief. Anthony specifically was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain what the issue was and all the steps it took to replace it. He even found a mouse nest in my engine cover and safely relocated the mice! I will never take my car anywhere else. They ve created a lifelong satisfied customer.

I ve been coming here to see John and his guys for about 3 years now. They are always so accommodating. John has always followed through with doing what he says he s going to do and I always leave happy and always done in a timely manner. I m writing this review now in the waiting room because he got me right in for an oil change. Great prices & very informative. Would recommend to anyone.

Very good experience with Amsler s. New used tires & an inspection. Other places had a wait period of 10+ days. Amsler s had me in, in a couple days. I will most definitely be going back & referring them in the future.

We brought our car in after getting an outrageous quote from a local dealership.Johnpulled our car in that daydiagnosed it (which the dealership misdiagnosed) and fixed it for a fraction of the cost not even a quarter of what we would have been charged. This place is the best of the best honest, reliable and trustworthy.We would highly recommend!

Went here for a small issue got charged 405 for some dumb issue .. then he tells me I cannot pass inspection because of an EAP leak and there s multiple leaks in the systems home. He tried to tell me $1200 I went to another shop got my truck fixed for 545.

Honest & knowledgeable with quality vehicles.I recently traveled from Rochester to Schenectady to purchase a small bus from Amsler's, and would be willing to return based on the experience. I had spent a week coordinating the visit and planning around a snowstorm while Jon held the vehicle for me. In all my years purchasing vehicles, this was the first time working with a dealership. Jon understood my hesitations. He was flexible, responded to my concerns, and gave me time to review.When I was ready, he was able to drive me to the local bank, offer suggestions for insurance carriers, and draft a limited warranty. He even offered to take care of the minor elements in need of repair by ordering and sending parts to Rochester.It was a relief to leave Amsler's with plates, an affordable policy, a fresh inspection, a vehicle ready for the road, and some coverage for the first 6 months. The dealership check up confirmed what Jon knew already, that everything was in good shape.Thanks Jon - if you're looking for a diesel vehicle, Amsler's is your spot!

Amsler's was a breathe of fresh air I went in with no appointment & John changed two of my tires so fast & efficiently at a great price! The customer service & overall service was so good that I came back the next day to get my breaks & pads done and was serviced again immediately! I would recommend!

Purchased a car from AMSLER. The whole experience was easy, fair, and positive. Jon and his team were courteous and pleasurable to work with. Would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

I was referred to Amsler's for work that needed to be done on my car to pass inspection. I called and made an appointment. When I got to the shop I was greated right away. They checked my car and determined the work that needed to be done. My options were given to me before any work was started. Agreed on what was being done along with a price. I feel they listened to me and not just said we HAVE to do this... Told it could take about 3-4 hour's. I had to wait because I didn't have a ride. I live about 35 minutes from them. The work was completed and they showed me what was done in about 2 hours. I would highly recommend if you need welding work done. Come and see them. I will be back if I need any more work. Also to purchase my next vehicle.

I was very pleased with my service , it was not a planned appointment they took my vehicle in and had it back to me in a few hours . I definitely plan on going back to get all 4 tires replaced at a reasonable price . Highly recommend going there if you haven t yet .

John the owner over at amslers auto is one of the most stand up guys doing this type of work. His prices are fair and they do great work over there. Will def come back here for all my car needs

I have never given a review before but for this place I will make an exception first of all after having a bad experience with a car dealer where I was given a car with no break and I ended up had to return it. I found Amsler auto on Facebook market place and I gave them a call I spoke to John on the phone and just his warm welcoming voice I decided to go check the place out, I found my first car which am in love with and I can truly say that they stand behind their vehicles I really don t have any issues with my car considering that it is a used car Plus I know nothing about cars so that s a plus for me, so if you re looking for a trust worthy used car dealer someone that will stand behind their vehicle Amsler is the place to go I will recommend them to anybody who s looking for a used car you will not regret it from customer services to the Mechanics they are truly the best.

Excellent service! I was nervous about making my first car purchase, but Jon made it painlessly easy. He told me what I needed to do and explained how the process worked. It was like getting advice from an older, caring brother. I didn't even have to make a trip to the DMV because Jon is able to handle registration and everything in-house! Jon is honest, super reliable and him and his entire team are extremely hardworking. I would definitely recommend checking them out. I know where to look if/when I need another car. Thanks Jon!

Still the best mechanic!!!!!! Dropped off my truck within a few hours its silent, exhaust issue - I am pleased!! They always do a great job in a timely manner.

Jon is really just a very knowledgeable trust worthy mechanic all the way around. He took a car with a lot of miles on it and put the entire car back into pristine shape so my kids and I had reliable transportation and the pricing was NOT being beat anywhere else. He was quick He was diligent and he took care of me without clearing the bank and my car runs like it did when i bought it . Go here !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for doing good job on my front tires and being helpful unbiased and honest towards me. If I am to return I would hope you continue that. Some places don t do that. Those places that don t loose business from me and I usually never return to those places.

I was in search of my first car and had been looking for a while. I came upon Amsler's through Facebook and reached out; I was responded to in a timely matter and able to go in the same day to look around. It was great service as I found something I liked and was helped through the process of getting my own vehicle for a great price. The staff members are nice, honest, and hardworking. They will take care of you whether you're looking to buy a car, need a repair, etc. Great place, people, options, and prices. I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Jon down at Amsler's Auto Sales is the best!!! He is very honest and trustworthy. I recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle with very reasonable prices. I found the car I was interested in and within a matter of hours I was driving off with the cool air conditioning blowing in my face. Call him now!

Overall a good experience, would give 4.5 stars if I could do 1/2 stars. Bought a truck sight unseen, wasn t 100% exactly what I was expecting but Jon worked with me and we made everything come together nicely. Jon is a very nice guy. He took time out of his weekend to accomodate my needs. Hopefully the truck I bought from him lasts me many years to come. Quality owner and dealership.

Had an emergency with my car and they were able to fit me in within 24 hours. Very eager to help, very knowledgeable, and you can tell that they actually care unlike a lot of other shops in the area.
