02/23/24, This was my 3rd auto claim here at this shop. Ted Herrmann, his wife and staff are professionals. Travelers Insurance is on-site. Enterprise car rentals are contracted here. Considering supply chain issues, My 2023 Chrysler Pacifica was repaired and returned to me in reasonable time. I recommend this shop for both basic cosmetic and major repairs.

I could not believe what an excellent job Ted s service team did on my 2021 Lexus. I would highly recommend this auto body shop. Amazing work in 4 days.

My family has been going to Ted for decades. I was unfortunate enough to need his services after my wife damaged our car necessitating both paint and bodywork. Ted and his guys did a fantastic job - they were able to repair the damage to two doors and a rear quarter panel without having to�replace anything and the paint looks good as new.� The cost was fair and the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time.Ted himself is an incredibly personable and entertaining guy, I greatly enjoyed dealing with him as well.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I brought my car over for some scratches that I thought serious. The boss looked, called over one of the guys who worked on them and made them disappear! I asked how much, the boss says for free, give the guy a tip. HONEST SHOP! I recommend it.

Ted and his crew are the best! I had a great experience with them. Their job is just perfect. They don't only fix cars, but they actually care about them. I got my BMW fixed (rear bumper, door handle and the exhaust pipe), and it looks brand new now. I just want to say, the whole experience is just a blast.

I have been a customer of Ted's for over 10 years. Ted's service has always been impeccable, professional, dependable and perfect. Every repair done for me has been flawless. This is the only reason I bring my cars to Ted for autobody repair. Ted and his staff are very professional and helpful. It is a real pleasure doing business with Ted Herrmann's Auto Body.

NEVER LET THIS GUY WORK ON YOUR CAR. THE ONLY TIME HE WORKED ON MINE HE HAD THE CAR HOSTAGE FOR 16 WEEKS AND EVERY TIME I ASKED ABOUT THE DELAY HIS STORY CHANGED.HE was ALLEGEDLY waiting for a part from Japan but UNABLE TO GIVE ATRACKING NUMBER since was an All-State DRPshop I filled numerous complaints with themhe gave them thesame B.S. FAIRYTALETHIS GUY IS A LIAR AND DOES LOUSY WORK

Ted and his team did a great job on my car. I had a 2015 honda civic si. I had to replace my left fender, hood, bumper, rim, passenger door, and my seatbelt. The best thing about Ted and his team is that they made me feel comfortable which led me to know that my car was in good hands. He got me in a rental right away when i dropped off my car and called almost every two days just to give me and update on my car. When i got it back, I couldn t have been happier. The car looked better then when i first bought it. Ted and his team goes above and beyond and does amazing work. Will definitely be bringing my car back for any future body parts i have for my car.

I have been over to Ted Herrmann's over the years with many different cars, and they match the paint so well you never know where the accident was on the car, and on top of that the people working for Ted are kind and so helpful, and will try go out of their way to fix little things on the spot. They call me a regular customer, not because I have a lot of accidents; but, because I would not go anywhere else. It is simply the most outstanding operation in low Westchester (possibly the county). I feel like family!

Was rear-ended about a week before Christmas 2021, didn t get my car back until February 2022, I can understand the holidays plus supply issues related to Covid disruptions, but the real kicker for me was a few weeks after I had picked up my car I was grocery shopping and placed the bags into my trunk, nothing extremely heavy, but the trunk floor (carpet and plastic piece below it) sank into my donut wheel well, really annoying. Couldn t figure out why it kept doing that. Yesterday I woke up to a flat tire, pulled my car into my garage , opened the trunk, lift up the carpet and plastic piece to get to the donut, and lo-and-behold no car jack and tire iron that usually sits in a hard styrofoam case on top of the donut!! So that is why the carpet and plastic piece kept sinking in the donut wheel well cause nothing supporting it cause Ted s never put back my car jack kit, and was stuck with a flat tire with no way of changing it!!Service: Body & Trim

My car was side-swiped by a van and the passenger side damaged. Everyone at Ted's was very helpful, and when I picked it up yesterday, the car looked new! They fixed the damage and then cleaned the car inside and out. Excellent service - I highly recommend Ted Harrmann's.

Never go here! I had to take an Uber back from the body shop because the people here are so nasty that when I complained, they demanded they would only take cash and not my credit card as payment for my deductible!Why would I give $1000 in cash to an untrustworthy business?Here's the story I had a minor car accident.My car took SIX weeks to repair. However it only really took four weeks to repair. It should've taken a few days max.Even though progressive fedex'd them a check on July 2nd which of course they cashed, they never notified me that my car was ready.I only found out my car was ready because the enterprise rental car agent called me to let me know that I was two weeks over my policy limit for a rental car and he wanted to know if I was coming in to pick up my car since it had been ready for weeks.This was obviously news to me!Nobody ever called me to let me know my car was ready. They did call me several weeks ago to ask me to fill out a form so they could be paid directly instead getting the check from the leasing company if my insurance paid them. Then they told me they didn't need me to sign it, that they could do the form. They didn't seem to know what they were doing.I called my insurance carrier to find out what the story was because nobody told me anything from the body shop. The adjuster told me that the owners wife (lied to him and ) told him that they have been trying to reach me for weeks. I run an office with THREE receptionists and I have an after hours Beeper service and a cell phone. I had NEVER been contactedThe worst part is when I reach the body shop and complained that nobody called me, the owner and his wife both started shrieking at me.I tried to pay my deductible - they told me that since I was such a horrible person that they would only take CASH. They would NOT accept my credit card. Seriously. I had my credit card in my hand and they would not take it. They told me where the nearest ATM waa located so I could get cash out of a machine.Why would I ever trust them with cash?When I asked again to take my credit card they just turned their back on me and ignored me completely.I had to take it Uber back home from Ted Hermann's body shop and my Porsche is sitting on their parking lot!I have never been treated so awfully by ANY vendor in my life.I am obviously going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. If anybody else has any suggestions where else to take this I would welcome them.

Ted Herrmann's has been in business for over 50 years - People come back to him repeatedly because he knows what he is doing and because he loves what he does.The person that posted below may be using a fake name - The business has NO RECORD of working on a car under the name Kolosky - It's slander what he said and for all we know - his car could have been a mess that should have been totaled out but the insurance company wrote to repair it and Ted got stuck doing the repairs.If you want to listen to the comment below that doesn't use a real name and isn't credible, go ahead, BUT if you want to see for yourself how talented, thoughtful and pleasant Ted Herrmann's auto body really is, the door is open Mon - Sat.Thank You.

Just horrible customer service!!When I first got there it was al smile and friendly jokes. When it came to follow up on making a appointment, I add to deal with 2 very rude people, the owner and his wife, who did not want to really listen to anything I had to say (they cannot be wrong, they have been in the business for years...) and quickly hung up on me telling me to go abuse someone else!I wonder how they manage to stay in business with those customer care standards, or maybe they have been in business for too long. I will gladly take my car somewhere else!

The best body shop I have ever worked with. Ted's people are artists not mechanics. Having two sons I have unfortunately had many opportunities to experience his shops talent, never disappointed.

What a nightmare! I do not suggest using this place. My car had been hit by a motorcycle in NYC and the biker's insurance company was paying for all the damage. When I picked up the car, the engine was revving high and the car was bucking. When I called the place to say there was something wrong, they never returned my call. A couple hours later, I also found a dashboard/electrical outage and called them, still no return call. Through the insurance company, I was told to bring the car back. When I did, they pushed my av socket down into the dashboard and exposed some wires. The technician exclaimed, "Oh, I see! When the bike hit your car and the door hit your dashboard, the wire got loose and we just need to open the panel and reconnect the outlet.". Two minutes later, I was standing right behind Ted Herrmann as he told the insurance company (after they authorized the repair) that this was not accident related and said, "This woman is kinda crazy". I told Progressive Insurance company that I will not be going there anymore, that I want to go to my dealership. If you are a woman or a cancer patient or a human being, don't patronize this business. They got paid a lot of money, didn't complete the work and totally disrespected me. Based on this incident, Progressive Insurance is going to remove them as an approved repair shop.

My car took months to repair. It was always someone else's fault..usually "the adjuster. Over the last three-four weeks of the repair process it was expected that my car would be ready each Friday, yet it never was. Something is very wrong.
