When my car made a piercing screeching sound while moving, I followed a friend's recommendation and came to Sal's. The owner, Joe, immediately checked my car, and showed me that the brakes on both rear wheels needed replacement, and three other tires also required changing. He also provided a detailed quote. Joe even kindly arranged for a ride home for me as my car needed a few hours at the shop. The next day, when warning lights appeared on my car's dashboard, they quickly identified and fixed the issue without additional charges. This is, so far, the best auto repair service I've ever experienced honest, trustworthy, and attentive. Highly recommended!

I ve been to Sal s for years and have had nothing but positive experiences. They have done everything including routine inspections, oil changes, new tires, rotations, etc. they always give a fair price, and excellent service. It s one of those places where you know it s well run from the way every single person is acting.

Great experience. Took care of my oil change and even checked to be sure my Subaru Impreza was in good shape with 52000 miles on it . Excellent customer service .

I teach piano locally at Hoff-Barthelson in Scarsdale and was referred to Sal s by one of my pupils. I have always had wonderful service for my car with courtesy and expertise. I've been coming here for a few years now and just wanted to say they provide excellent service. A tree branch smashed my sunroof cover and Carlo sought out and found a used part to replace it with, saving me at least $500 and a week of lead time for a factory issued replacement. That's just one small way this business does the best it can by its customers.

Called to see if they could squeeze me in for an inspection - it was getting close to end of day but they were very understanding as I was already near by. The guys at Sal s are amazing. They were so accommodating to me and did a big job for me in a rush for safety s sake. They went out of their way to help keep my kids happy during the whole ordeal which makes a huge difference to a parent. They always treat me with respect and care. This was my first time coming here, needed to get my photo & state inspections done. A gentleman named Carlo took care of it and made me feel at ease. Joe and Carlo are great people who treat their customers with respect. You know when you bring your car their to be serviced it will be done right. Can t say that about many places around here. If they do find a problem quick to call you and see how you want to handle it. Not just fix it and you get a suprise when you go to pick it up. Live in this area for 58 years theirs no one else I trust more than Sals. On Tuesday, October 18th, 2022, my steering wheel locked after putting my Sonata in park.I was in the Shoprite parking lot on Central Ave. The steering wheel would not turn at all. I was so upset. I called Sal s auto and spoke with Joe. He was so understanding & reassuring. He gave me directions over the phone to unlock the steering wheel but because I was so nervous (73 yrs old with my 81 yr old husband) it didn t work. He promptly left the auto shop & came to my location. He was quickly able to unlock the steering wheel. He was so kind, calm and empathetic.I am so grateful for his promptness, empathy & expertise.
