My neighbor recommended Ryley's Auto after a number of bad experiences with a different shop left me in a bind. Ryley and his team completely turned around my perception of local service providers; he offered reliable service, clear communication and obvious care for his product.Right from the start, his communication skills set him apart. He listened to my concerns about past subpar work on my vehicle and laid out a clear plan to rectify the issues. His honesty about the previous shortcuts was refreshing.What truly amazed me was his reliability. He stuck to his promises and delivered on time. The quality of his work was exceptional; it was evident he took pride in his craft.He not only fixed the past mistakes but went above and beyond to address potential problems. Dude had my car over a year ! My friend suggested him , I trusted his opinion. Had the car flat towed to him and it sat that over a year the guy never even looked at it to find what was wrong or call me back to discuss the car period.

Awesome awesome awesome. Very knowledgeable and down to earth. I never worry about being overcharged, they are honest and do fantastic work. Book your visit a few weeks in advance -- the have a tight and busy schedule, but that's because people trust them and are willing to wait for such quality service.

I usually work on my own cars, I haven t had someone work on my cars with the exception of major repairs (engine, transmission) and tires in 20 years. I moved back to Saugerties a year ago and travel for work so my time is limited, after asking around for a good mechanic, Ryleys came highly recommended. I just asked for a good mechanic, I found an excellent, honest, friendly hard working family owned local business who fixes what s wrong, charges a fair price and finishes the job on time. I don t even bother to bring my one car to the dealer anymore, it s not worth travel time to Kingston and back and saves me the headache of wondering which mechanic worked on my vehicle that day. I have never had to question their work, never had to wait and if I asked for something specific as in tires I liked they were able to find them and give me a competitive price. Sorry the review is a tad long but I can t say enough about them, highly recommend.

My steering line broke and these guys fixed it the same week! Every other mechanic in town were priced higher and could not do it within the week. These guys were awesome! If they don't answer every time you call, that's because they are busy in the shop. Very trustworthy. Had them do my shocks too.

I am boosting my rating. 1) Because the company is a reputable, from many different clients that have told me of their satisfaction. 2) They are very down to earth, personable, and straight to the point, which is refreshing to experience in privately owned auto repair shops. A couple of the employee's, Alex and Enrique, were the reason for inquiring their services. I did not have work done yet, but will be looking for repairs soon regarding brakes and rotors. Might get that 5th star.

Competent, friendly, informed and honest. What more could you want when your car needs repair? Had my inspection done, a few minor items replaced, air conditioning seen to, need struts (next appointment) keeps my older car running.

I just got a new Jeep Cherokee and wanted to get a couple of modifications done to it. I have to say this is a quality operation. Everything I've had completed was done quickly, professionally and cost effectively. On top of that I found Ryleys Auto to be honest, helpful and willing to answer all of my questions. I have no doubt I will be taking my Jeep here for repairs and upgrades going forward.

Riley is an honest and trustworthy mechanic that keeps both my Subarus in great condition, and kept my old Honda and Isuzu ticking long after they should have been retired.. I won't go anywhere else. Riley ROCKS.

Showed me exactly what needed to get replaced and what parts were worn and could wait to be done. Very fair and honest compared to a lot of rip off mechanics in the area. Highly recommend him to done

This place ROCKS! Broke down literally in front of their place. 4 guys dropped everything on a Monday morning to come push me into a bay, check out my car, and get me back on the road in less than an hour! I'm sold! I just moved here & now I've found my new car repair shop.
