This place was amazing !!! A real garage with a nostalgic look. The owner Greg is a character and a man who knows what he s doing you can tell he s the boss. I brought my bosses car originally for an inspection Greg had me in and out in 10 mins. Been going back and referring people since. Just walking in and seeing all his classic cars in the lot and old school gas station collectibles is an experience itself. Great reliable work from a master of his trade.

Always helpful. For those complaining about the price .their rent is high too. Fix your own car if you do t want to support them.

Gregg is unusual in many ways. I would not have anyone else service, sell or buy a car without consulting him. He is reliable and fair in pricing. I highly recommend this shop.Really helped me and my 1968 Chevy out. I had a bad electrical wire for my relay switch going to my electric fuel pump and they discovered a leaking fuel line. Took care of me same day fix.Totally reliable and honored my appointment from a week out.Couldn't be happier with my experience!

Friendly efficient service. I had a check engine light on in my 99 volvo. They diagnosed it in minutes, while I waited and found it was a loose gas cap. Got out of there in no time with a very, very generous price. Super friendly, down to earth, honest crew! I ll be back!

My car was overheating when I passed this place...it was the first shop I came in contact with and the only one in the area for that matter. They immediately came out to analyze my car and within two hours, I was back on the road!The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I was not overcharged and they knew exactly what they needed to do. As an out of towner, I was reluctant to have anyone look at my car other than my trusted mechanic...now I can say that I have two I trust.Would recommend the world to these people if I could!Service: General repairs & maintenance

After living in the area for 15 years, this is the first time I tried Greg's Garage. What was I waiting for?!!?!! I called ahead for a NY State Inspection, received a prompt, courteous response, drove my car over and they took me within 2 minutes of arrival. Completed the inspection quickly and efficiently. I was visiting family from out of town and my car broke down when leaving Sag Harbor. Gregs Garage was able to repair my car the same day. They ordered and received part and fixed the car in a matter of hours. I didn't even know them and yet they realized the urgency of getting my car reparied as I had to be back home that evening. If I lived in town I would return and have them service my cars. They were kind, professional and more than helpful. I would highly recommend this place! Gregg's Garage in Noyac (Sag Harbor) NY is a treasured resource for both year-round and summer residents like myself. They offer old-fashioned service like you rarely can find these days. They handle any issue with your car or truck speedily but with total professionalism. And their prices are more than fair! I have gone to them for both small and big problems and they have always made me leave, with my engine purring and a smile on my face.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Brakes, Oil change

not only did they tell me not to come back if I wanted to use my warranty company that THEY ACCEPT, they let me leave without putting oil in the car (had none because of accident) they let me drive 1100 miles back to Florida with the car not even being fixed completely. Now it s about 900$ more in repairs. Very unprofessional stay FAR away, definitely will not be using them in my summer time Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes

I will not trust anyone with my car except for Greg's Garage! I have been going to Greg since he was located on Rt.114 and followed him to Noyac Rd. I live in the city but spend time in Sag Harbor and when I have a car problem, need inspection or maintenance...I go to Greg's, even if I have to drive from the city. Gregg's service has always been reliable and thorough. Its great to have a good mechanic in the immediate area and you can count on Gregg's to fix whatever it is wrong with your car. Prices are competitive with surrounding services.

I called the garage and asked if I could have my car towed there for an estimate to repair a clutch. I said I didn't want any work done on the car, just an estimate. The front desk person said that would be no problem and I could drop the car off. Upon arrival they told me they agreed to look at the car and give me a call before they did any work.I waited four days and after hearing nothing from them, called in. They said the problem was the clutch and maybe the transmission and the 'best case scenario' estimate they gave me was higher than the blue book value of the car. I informed them I would not be repairing the car and would pick it up.When I arrived with a tow truck 'greg' told me I owed $156.13 for doing 'one and a half hours' of work. He claimed they had called and left a message in regards to the 'work' they had intended to do and after hearing no response from me went ahead and worked on the car. There was no missed call on my phone or voicemail. To which he replied, 'of course there's not'. He then informed me I could not take my car from the lot - which was now blocked by another car - and my options were to pay $156.13, call the police, or dispute the credit card charges "we could do it that way" he said. I felt bullied into paying the charges so I could remove my car from the lot. I would not recommend any part of doing business with this auto shop.

Place is sketchy.I dropped my car off for an inspection. I called hours later to check the status and the gentlemen proceeded to tell me he thought I had dropped it off for an oil change (even though we spoke about the inspection on the phone before I dropped it off and also again when I actually dropped it off). I then told him that was not the scheduled maintenance we spoke about and so his response was "well you got a free oil change, and we did the inspection."When I went to pick it up he had a terrible attitude and reminded me he had given me a free oil change.First off I have never heard of a garage giving away free services. Secondly, my car has a sensor that tells me when the oil has been changed and it hadn't. So......what did these guys do to my car?I will definitely never go back.

Absolutely horrible.Made an appointment way in advance to fix a few things (side window regulator, check AC, replace 1 lug nut). Dropped my car off right on time was promised a call back that same day, never got it. Called back myself the next morning received a We re very bury. We ll get to it today and call you back answer, never got a call back. Called back myself again the next morning and learned that the car wasn t even looked at yet. Got another promise of We ll look at it now . Guess what no call back in the next 5 hrs. I had to call back for the 3rd time to learn the most ridiculous price of over 1500$. The guy on the phone was extremely rude and annoyed with me, said he can drop the price 2 times to only fix the necessary things. After this extremely bad customer service I obviously didn t want anything to do with the place. When I came to pick up my car the next morning I was pressured into paying 200$ for the time they spend checking my car with absolutely no apologies that they kept it there for 3 DAYS without giving me ANY details.Thankfully my car got fixed the next week in Southampton for under 500$, I wasn t charged anything for the initial check up and received an excellent customer service.DO NOT GO THERE! RIDICULOUS PRICES & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
