Didn't really use this trail Head. Parked at the Sawdust Ave trailers a few miles north of here the ride north trip Kingston. Typical Wallkill trail surface mostly fine, a few roots, a few rocks. Shortly after you start north there's a steep short climb with loose rock on the surface. You need to be careful there but the tests all smooth sailing.

Very easy access to the parking lot. Easy in and out for our horse trailer. Easy access to the rail trail. We ll maintained.

Great location to access the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. Cross the road, up the ramp, left for Kingston, right for New Paltz and points south. Easy walk to the Rosendale Trestle with its great views. About a mile to the Giants Ledge Trail in the Mohonk Preserve. No bathroom or other facilities.

Big free parking lot convenient to the rail trail. hard to find shade, but if you park next to the kilns there's some shade in the afternoon.

Plenty of spots in this unpaved lot. Trail is across the street.
