Awesome instant service. Called for inspection. Kim got me right in and out with a warm welcome. Rob took my vehicle immediately and I was leaving in 10 minutes. Professional, reliable, honest shop. Shop was very busy, with many satisfied customers. I give Lake Auto a huge shout out - to stop in for ALL your auto needs. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Kim and Rob for exceptional service.

This is my third time at Lake Auto Service and I cannot be happier with their absolute exceptional service. If you are looking for integrity, honest pricing, efficient timing, and quality of workmanship then look no further! Kim has been wonderful, her communication and transparency has answered all my questions and put my concerns at ease. Thanks to Rob and Dave who have been accurate in resolving the issues with my vehicle! Thank you all!

I cannot say enough good things about Rob and Lake Auto!! I wish I could give them 10 stars!! They are honest, friendly and reliable!! Prices are fantastic and they always squeeze me in whenever I need !!! Rob has gone above and beyond dealing with Hyundai and resolving a major repair that was needed and was ultimately covered under warranty and is being taken care of at Hyundai thanks to Rob!! His wife Kim is a pleasure to deal with at the front desk and I promise you will not be disappointed if you take your car to them they treat everyone like family!!

I had to come on here and just say how wonderful this establishment is. I bought my vehicle from Lake Auto a couple years back and ever since if there was any issue with the vehicle they would fix it up no problem. Everyone is always very kind, hardworking, understanding and trustworthy. They always explain what is wrong and they give a receipt so you know what you are paying for. Every time I get my vehicle back I m always happy knowing they fixed the issue and that my vehicle is safe to drive!

I walked in today before their 8 am opening and they already had someone s car ready to go. That s what I call instant service! I came in for a headlight bulb replacement and was out in 15 minutes and not because they had no other cars to service. The lobby was packed with customers and the lot full of cars. They just run a very efficient operation. Kim and Rob are very pleasant and honest. Kim is hysterical and very personable and makes your short wait time feel even shorter. I have been going to Lake Auto for many years. My sons go to them too. We ve never had any issues and we have never been turned away even without an appointment. Their prices are reasonable and the work they do is excellent.

The service at Lake Auto Service was excellent as always. Friendly reception and considerate. I needed my car serviced, and this was done without trying to upsell me on a bunch of other things I didn t need. They also addressed me promptly, and informed me that of be called as soon as my vehicle was done. If you want the best service, you must go here.

I took my car to Lake Auto after experiencing months of of frustration with my long time mechanic. Multiple expensive repairs had not fixed the ongoing issues. Lake Auto was able to diagnose the problem immediately as well thoroughly examine my car and find minor issues that were also in need of attention. I m thankful to have found this excellent shop with experienced, knowledgeable and friendly staff as well as fair prices.

I can not thank you enough, not once but 2xs for taking care of my sons 2009 Nissan Altima.From the moment I walked in and spoke with Kim and she took care of us. Rob took care of my son s car the first time and everything was repaired as we were told it would.After trusting Lake Auto the first time this past summer, my son s car was in need of repair again.i don t know the gentleman s name who repaired my sons car today but again, honest. They repaired what was asked, what was needed. What we thought was needed wasn t the actually problem & the proper repair was done.Let me just say, it s nice knowing there are honest people who care. I went here because my wheels were making a weird noise. The guy asked me to turn my wheels all the way to one side, and then he reached in and pulled out a large branch. He solved my problem and didn t charge me anything. I definitely recommend this place for their honesty and helpfulness.

My first time going here, and they were great. The owner, Rob, was a real stand-up guy, knew right away what was wrong with my truck, and had it fixed within an hour at a fair price. I'll never go anywhere else but Lake Auto for now on!!!

Rob is the most honest mechanic I have ever had in my entire life. Does really good work. My wife was going to Acura Smithtown to get her car fixed and every time we went, once a year, sometimes twice, it was never under $1500 for repairs. Finally, I m like I know you re loyal but you gotta come to my guy Rob. So she goes to Lake Auto and doesn t say what s wrong with it. Rob calls us says it was a 200 dollar fix. Cars been running great ever since. Cannot recommend this business enough.

Came here twice and Lake Auto Service is the BEST! I moved to the area with my wife not too long ago and always had trouble finding a good honest mechanic. It seemed that every mechanic I went to in the past has been very dishonest and shady but not here! They are very honest and don t try to rip you off. They are very transparent and always do their absolute best to make sure they take care of their customers. Even the receipt is very nice and friendly! She is always attentive and very helpful when it comes to making appointments or even just walking in. I ve Been coming to lake auto for a little over a year now. Very solid and quality work. Very knowledgeable and reliable. They also stand behind all their work and warranty it. Any time I had to bring it back, if it had something to do with a prior issues they took care of it at no cost. 10/10 would recommend.

Going to lake auto for over 12 years Dave and Patty are great people to talk too. But Rob the new owner. Well thats a another story. One of Rob's mechanic's Damaged my running boards. I asked Rob to replace them with new running Boards. He refuse too he wanted to replace them with one's from the junk yard i said no. So we agreed to go half on new ones. So when replacing the damaged ones I ask him to install all the hardware and brackets he said no because he had too charge me for labor. I said i am not paying for labor I didn't do the damage on my own truck. If the mechanic took a few minutes I would not be in this here writing this review. And than I had a hard time getting half of the money. I should not to pay half of something that i did not damage.But he did replace all of the parts and paid me half of the amount. But i will never go there again i do not trust Rob at all. Lets get some facts straight. My truck is not 12 years old. It's a 2015 truck my running boards where not in poor shape. I was going to have them powder coated until your mechanic damaged them. If the running boarsd where in bad shape i would have not complained about it. I lost over $230.00 because of your employee. Your employee knew that he damaged my truck but said nothing about it.And the passenger side was more damaged the the drivers side. I will post pics of the damage if you want me too with no problem. You told me that it was not my problem. This my last response I don't care what you say here never doing business with you. I don't trust you!!! Just stick to the truth if you can.Service: Auto maintenance

I have been coming here since 2008, for over 15 years now! They have gone above and beyond in taking care of my automobiles and communicating precisely every step of the way. Nobody enjoys car troubles but when you know you re going to get taken care of really well, it sure makes it a whole lot easier. Over the years Lake Auto has become the Cheers of the automobile service community! I have never seen so many smiles in the service industry before! Love this place and the people especially.
